YES din. No need to explain why, just by watching the news everyday you will really feel that our country needs it.

Super agree!

I am for the death penalty... IF we can be reasonably confident that our justice system is not corrupt.

Mga sis, my past 2 years' experience -- I have seen firsthand how corrupt our justice system is.
I have had a criminal complaint filed against us by a member of a political family who was getting back at me for selling a property to someone else -- eh wala naman syang pera or loan to pay me.  Alangan both of us keep on dreaming forever he ill ave funds to buy my property. Lolz

The investigating & reviewing fiscals agreed no basis to file such a criminal case against us.  BUT lols, the prosecutor concluded, against basic laws governing properties, to file a case and let the court decide.  Why? Coz the 1 filing a case got him appointed as prosecutor.

It is done & thrown away - as it should have been from the start --  but well, our justice system is corrupt.

So there.  Mabuti pa let us start implementing the death sentence on corrupt  prosecutors & judges.

I am up for it ONLY if like what sis aquacharly said, justice system is not corrupt.

Cyrish Magalang lived in the same village as mine. Matagal na namin nirereklamo ang squatters area na yan, but nobody's moving --- YES, that includes the policemen and the high officials of our brgy. Takot or protected? That I don't know!

^indeed sis! there have been rumors circulating around here that drug buying and selling comes from the high officials as well as politicians DAW. So dapat when death penalty has once again effective, mauna na ang mga ito! No exception! BUT knowing our justice system? Nah! Napakadaling ituro ito sa mga fall guys!

Come to think of it, death sentence for them is an easy exit nga ano?! Reunion with their fellow evils agad. They should be whipped as well na din, everyday! Make their lives be a living hell on earth.

But the fact lang din na may death penalty will make criminals have seond thoughts.

Suspects of Maguindanao Massacre should also be the first in line should death sentence becomes effective again.

^^yes. i think so... di nga iaapprove ni Pnoy yang death penalty kasi nga di ba malakas ang influence ng church sa kanya, or should i say malaki nacontribute ng church sa pagkapanalo nya... Yung RH na nga lang e, after countless debates and delays the process has stalled at the hands of time-wasting legislators and bullying bishops.

YES! sobrang dami ng crimes ngayon committed even to kids, persons with disability and even mga lola ninanakawan na and nirerape pa! grabe wala nang awa ang mga criminals ngayon, walang takot, dapat talaga ibalik ang death penalty, kahit pano some of those bad guys would think twice in committing a crime and kung maconvict man sila, they deserve nothing but death penalty!  >:(
