I think it's smart that you defined what overrated is. However, ang perception ng bawat tao ay hindi pare-pareho. To say na "mali" ang iba is objectionable.

but sorry not sorry Aldub lalo na si Maine is overrated talaga for me. They are overpraised, overmagnified at di karapat dapat or hindi worth it FOR ME. Thus, overrated.

Maraming artista ang laging naisasama dito like KimXi, Gonzaga sisters and Kris Aquino. Consistent yan, I'm sure they also have fans here that don't agree pero wala naman nagdisrespect dahil yun naman ang topic ng thread. Deadma and respect lang. So I hope Aldub fans will learn to do the same because the 25 million tweets and increased sales of mcdo doesn't mean lahat ng tao gusto na sila.

^^Clarification: I NEVER said that the increase in sales means that these celebs are not overrated, I said being overrated is not a bad thing. I also did NOT post that to defend any celeb or disrespect anyone's opinion, it was my general opinion on the topic (although I stated some examples).

By the way, I feel that as critics request their opinions to be respected, it is also fair to respect the supporters' opinions as well. - not only limited to this thread, but the whole GT.

The thread is about overrated celebrities. And this is very subjective. We might see our faves being mentioned here but i dont think we need to challenge or question the selections of those who post here. Di naman to dedicated sa isang particular celebrity, but to anyone whom we THINK is overvalued. We are just going to stir a conflict if we keep on 'defending' our idols here. This particular thread is not the proper venue.

You have to accept the truth na hindi lahat ng tal gusto ang aldub.  So just respect the opinion of others na lang.. magalit kayo if sa ALDUB THREAD kami pumunta and dun kami nagrant.

Actually, wala akong idol na kahit sinong celebrity. I've been following the Kardashians forever, pero keri lang pag kini-question ng iba bakit ko sila fino-follow. More of chismosa + I just get entertained and amused with the fact that they are... well... overrated.

May iba pa naman definition which I think majority of the commenters think about Aldud. According to Dictionary.com - overrate is 'to rate or appraise too highly; overestimate' or sa Oxford naman overrate is 'Have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved'. Synonyms na overrated sa Thesaurus.com - overvalued, exaggerated, hyped-up, overpromoted, etc.
