Ako naman, all my applications were either declined or ignored for the past years na nagwowork ako. After a year with my current company, I received a call from BPI informing me that I got preapproved for a gold mastercard. I don't think I'll need any additional card dahil yung credit limit na binigay sa kin is more than what I need. I've been using it for more than a year and they just reversed my annual fee for the second year, I'm so happy

^online sis. matagal din ang process nila. At badtrip pa, yung madness limit daw available lang sa cards na naka 1 year na badtrip hahaha. kainis bat 1 year pa eh isa yun sa mga nagustuhan ko kay BPI hayyy

the usual sis, ID, income documents. Actually nag fill up ako ng online application form mga 1st week ng feb. tapos sinubmit ko yung docs sa email. Sabi ng automated reply nila within 7-10 banking days. After 10 banking days, wala namang call sakin so kinalimutan ko na. mga 1 week pa after, tumawag sila asking for requirement. They asked me to send it to another email address, so sinend ko. mga feb 24 yun. tapos natanggap ko yung card last week March 12 ata.

I think di na sila nag verify ng employment dito sa office. Kasi if they did, malamang na decline sana yun kase mahirap ang employment verification dito samin. as in tatamarin na lang ang nag C-CI. Siguro tiningnan lang nila yung credit history ko with rcbc and pnb kaya na approve.

Mga sis, how true na hindi basta-basta naga-approve ng cc application sa BPO employees? I had an officemate who was only 7months with the company, nag-apply sa tatlong cc companies for her very first cc, lahat declined. Dapat daw at least 2yrs working sa company or may managerial position.

one factor is hindi guaranteed ang work ng mga call center agents, most of them are hopping on companies and bihira ang tumatagal ng more than 3 years sa BPO. so tingin ko, sinesecure din ng mga banks company nila. been reading sa ibang thread re card default, sorry kung OT, but as per mga kwento nila dun, marami na din CC defaulters na coming from BPO industry.

True. way back nung bago pa lang ang BPO industry sa Pilipinas, halos lahat daw ng cc agents inofferan ng credit card. Then napakadami din sa kanila ang hindi nagbayad. Hindi na mahabol kasi umalis na sa company. Kaya ayun, since then, di na sila basta basta nagbibigay ng credit cards sa cc agents.

Sa Pinas, kulang na kulang tayo sa credit rating. Alam ko meron tayo of some sort, kasi yung mga records mo sa banks nakikita din ng ibang banks. Pero kulang pa din. Madaming nagp-plan sa globe at smart, tapos hindi binabayaran. Kasi walang inaalagaang credit rating. I've been a cc agent din, UK account. Sa UK, ultimong mga phone plans nila, alagang alaga sila sa pagbabayad. Kasi very big doon ang credit rating. Pag hindi ka magbabayad, overall score mo maapektuhan. Tapos kung maganda ang rating mo, better privileges, pag mag aapply ka ng loan or anything at nakita na maganda ang rating mo, madali na lang mag pa approve. So kahit mag plan ka lang ng phone, alagaan mo yun, score na yun sa rating. Dito satin, kelangan may mag approve muna at least isang credit card para magkaron ng chance na i build up ang credit rating.

So for example if ibabalance transfer yung balance ko sa HSBC to my husband's SB Card? Sorry ha if this might be  a stupid question. Baka lang may nakakaalam.

You can read the terms and conditions sa bank mo sis, in your case, sa security bank ni husband. Iba iba kasi minsan per bank. gaya ng sa BPI, sa bpi pwede mag balance transfer o credit to cash kahit supplementary lang. sa iba main account holder lang nag pwede. Pero yung iba yung names, I think hindi talaga pwede yun. Pero you can still check sis. Malay natin diba. If not, maybe you can ask HSBC kung pwede ipa staggered yung payment. Hay naku sissies! Hindi talaga ako ma approve sa BPI, East West at sa Bank of Commerce. Hopefully my pending application with China Bank ma approve. They have an ongoing promo na free for life. If not mistaken until May 2015 ang application.

Hay naku sissies! Hindi talaga ako ma approve sa BPI, East West at sa Bank of Commerce. Hopefully my pending application with China Bank ma approve. They have an ongoing promo na free for life. If not mistaken until May 2015 ang application.

May credit card na din ang China Bank?
