good thing waived yung annual fee ko sa hsbc - kahit di ko na sya ginagamit.

sa citibank naman half lang offer nila - pero need ko mag avail n call for cash at least 10k. Or bayaran ko yung annual fee and may free akong rudy project na watch worth 2,500.

yung sa east west naman - instacash, quick bills at balance transfer para mawaive ang half at charms daw para mafull yung waive...

siguro dahil wala akong balanse and di kumikita yung mga cards sakin..

isip isip kung saan ako makakatipid..

Im thinking of getting a BDO mastercard. trip ko lang. pansin ko kasi parang mas maraming merchants ang may magandang offer sa items nila if BDO. So far, I have Citibank, EW, BPI , Allied Bank, RCBC and Standard Chartered pero hindi ko naman ginagamit. Im planning to only keep 2 cards, isang MC saka Visa. Im just weighing which card is best to keep.

Hi

I have BPI Express credit card. Inofferan lang nila ako nung December, no requirements needed, kasi they based it on the fact that i had a savings account with them which i never used naman. I agreed to the offer of 40K limit kaso na-max out ko na sya. I pay regularly yung minimum amount at least kaso i end up using it again. Mejo nabibigatan ako sa financial charges nila. I want to discontinue. Meron ba silang amnesty program? Will that impact my credit standing in case mag loan ako in banks or government bodies in the future? Thanks!

Sis, ikaw ang typical client that every credit card company is hoping for.  paying the minimum balance (always) and allows them to earn exhorbitant interests from your outstanding balance.

Rule of thumb sa mga credit cards - never ever allow to have any outstanding balance every month when you pay your bills to them. Sila lang ang kumikita. Ikaw, lugi. Baka labas nyan mas malaki pa ang interest na binabayaran mo kesa sa actual amount na ginamit mo using the cc.

All credit card companies do that naman, basta good payer and full payment lagi.
:D

Plus, the line "sige, kung hindi kayang i-process pa-cut na lang works" :D

^ that doesn't work for Citibank. I always pay in full and on time pero ang tigas, ayaw lagi mag-waive in full. :(

Maybe you need to talk to them kasi with mine always waived in full for 5 years ko na gamit yung card ko from them

yup, just be firm and sure na willing ka talaga ma-cut yun CC pag hindi nila ni-waive yun AF.
natawa naman ako sa citibank ko. di ko nagamit for the entire year yun card ko pero nawaive nila AF dati. tapos ngayon malapit na ulit mag annual fee, di ko pa rin nagagamit pero tinaasan pa ang credit limit ko. ??? kaloka! haha!

some banks naman iccheck muna nila kung naabot mo yun minimum spend requirement for the year bago sila pumayag ng full waiver of AF. naalala ko yun HSBC dati, sa officemate ko parang half lang niwaive nila kasi daw di umabot sa annual minimum spend requirement.

@PrincessC, for me, gamit na gamit ang standard chartered cc ko. dati kasi panay labas nila ng instant rewards promo e. tapos 90k annual spend lang automatic waived na AF mo. e sa HSBC yata parang 200k yun required nila.

Gusto ko magka credit card. It's my first time kaso parang nadedecline ako.

Talaga po bang requirement ang landline when you apply for a credit card?
