^ Kakatapos ko lang ng Maze Runner series. Hindi ako nag-enjoy. Ang tagal ko binasa halos dumating na ko sa point na ayaw ko na tapusin. Medyo boring for me. Pero may parts naman na OK din. I guess I would rate it 3/5.

Tapos ko na yung The Selection trilogy. I even read The Prince and The Guard kahit hindi naman talaga kasama sa series hehe. Nakakatuwa na nakakakilig! Ang bilis ko basahin kahit busy ako. Very engaging kasi yung story

Next: Delirium series

Mga sis ano pa Dystopian books ang similar sa The Selection series? Matched daw is similar pero unahin ko muna Delirium series.

The Blood of Eden by Julie Kagawa was the last dystopian series I read. May twist, it's actually a hybrid vampire-dystopia story.

Sis that's just my opinion ha hehe. You can try reading din sa goodreads for reviews or try downloading the ebook para hindi masakit sa bulsa in case di mo nagustuhan

The Giver - read this in high school (more than 10 years ago haha) and until now it remains one of my all-time fave

Hunger Games - I loved the first two books kaso super super nadisappoint ako sa Mockingjay! Parang naging weakling si Katniss and everytime nagkakaron ng action scenes, it seems like nawawalan siya ng malay. Aaargghh!

Divergent series - I preferred the Hunger Games, though nag-enjoy naman ako kasi action-packed I haven't gotten around to reading Allegiant, hopefully the series ends well.

The Selection series - kinilig ako though di ko gusto yung 2nd book (I hated how America was going back and forth between Maxon and Aspen)

The Lunar Chronicles - dystopian/fairytale retelling. I love strong female characters and Cinder kicks @s$! Bonus points: madaming guys na swoon-worthy Highly recommended!

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro the book is haunting and depressing i want to watch the movie adaptation coz it stars Keira Knightley, Carrey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield pero baka ma-depress ako after lol.

The Queen of the Tearling - Erika Johansen added to my "to read" list. last year pa ako curios sa series na ito kasi di pa napa-publish binili na ng Warner Brothers ang movie adaptation rights and Emma Watson will play the protagonist and she will also co-produce it.

Divergent trilogy- Worth reading kaso nadisappoint ako sa ending ng allegiant. i was hoping for a happy ending

I find it endearing, it's like, finally letting us in on her human and weak side - that behind every symbol, every greatness, is someone also small, like us.

Maze Runner naman, will be kind of dry if you prefer the mushy type of story kasi nga all male characters and the only side-love story is kind of mababaw pa. Pero I more or less liked it and am looking forward to the movie. It's not life-changing pero I found it entertaining in a rational, masculine sort of way if that makes sense. Very subtle yung emotional kick kasi.

Anyway, currently reading Farenheit 451 and looking great so far.

Hunger games trilogy - favorite ko 'to!

Divergent - Stopped reading in the middle of book 2. Medyo madami din rants ko dito. Writing isn't that good. Characters will do surprising things na wala naman sa personality nila or wala man lang foreshadowing from the author, para bang for plot twists lang talaga. Also, IMO the basic premise pa lang is stupid na, a society that has factions based on attributes like courage, friendliness, etc? So kung matapang ka yun lang talaga label mo? Etc etc.

Legend trilogy - Good writing. Unfortunately I wasn't hooked pa din because I felt that the male character is merely infatuated, and very blindly at that, with the girl. I think 3/4 lang ng book 2 inabot ko before I decided to put it down.

Dystopian din ba ang Do androids dream of electric sheep? This one is a good read, very thought provoking.

I didn't like Divergent all that much, pero I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed Insurgent. Haven't gotten around to reading Allegiant, sana maganda

lol ganyan din ako sa Divergent sis, buti ka nga umabot pa Insurgent, ako I downloaded both pero sa inis ko sa Divergent I deleted both agad pagkatapos ko sa Divergent. I agree sa flawed premise - nothing like highlighting differences to divide a society! Bata pa din kasi siguro si Veronica Roth.

How was Do androids dream of electric sheep sis? I have this and other Philip K. Dick books on my shelf but I haven't gotten around to reading them yet. I may read The Man in the High Castle first.

Truth is I didn't really like Divergent, the book and the series. After reading the first book, I didn't immediately read the next because I just wasn't hooked. Took me a few weeks and several other books before I finally made myself read Insurgent. But I still finished all three books anyway, just to see if what would happen and how everything would work out (or not). I'm an addict like that.
