^^tama si sis em-cee, ok lang early check-in and w/o charge nga.. we went there jan.2-4.. balak ko din sana joybus papunta kaso pagdating naman sa genesis cubao station sabi nung manong 11 or 12 lang daw byahe ng joybus kaya ayun nag.aircon nalang kami.. pero keri lang, wala masyadong tao kaya nakahiga kami sa upuan..hehe 5hrs lang din byahe naman.. umalis pala kami 5am dating kami sa station saktong 10am.. day before bago kami umuwi, napadaan kami sa likod ng sm, may terminal pala dun.. nakita namen may joybus.. ask namen what time sched nila kinabukasan, sakto naman na may alis ng 10am so nagpa.reserve na kami.. 5hrs din byahe.. kala ko may unan din bukod sa blanket at fudang.. anyway, super bait ni manong driver and nung stewardess.. definitely, joybus na talaga kami pag puntang baguio..

OT: sayang kasi 2 lang pala byahe ng joybus.. baguio saka baler lang..

Ang alam ko sa schedule ng joybus Cubao station 11pm and 12mn,  Departure from Baguio is 10am and 3pm. 3pm yun sinakyan namin.  since Oct 31 kami umuwi natraffic kami sa tarlac, 11pm kami nakarating ng Cubao station.

Mga sis, may nakapag stay na ba sa inyo sa villa la maja hotel? Sa likod lang sila ng presidential mansion. Hingi sana ako ng feedback. May deal kasi sila sa groupon ngayon na 2d/1n for only 1.5k & 3k for 3d/2n naman good for 8pax na pero accomodation lang.  Ask ko sana kung hindi mahirap kumuha ng taxi sa lugar na nila. Malayo kaya sila sa terminal ng mga bus?

^Hi sis rikki, my son enjoyed trekking at Tamawan Village and Camp John Hay.  Hindi nakakapagod kasi malamig.  Horseriding at Wright Park.  Picture-taking and souvenir shopping at Mines View Park and Botanical Garden.  Boat and bike riding at Burnham.  We also went to SM Baguio.  We weren't able to go to Strawberry Farm kasi not harvesting period that time.  Nice sana experience yun strawberry picking.   He enjoyed the weather very much he wants to go back.

With a kid with you, I suggest magdeluxe talaga para comfy chair tsaka with restroom.  I inquired about the ordinary aircon bus, 3 stop overs every 2 hours daw.  Iba parin yun comfort of a deluxe bus. 

Genesis transport is near the victory liner bus station.  Yun Joybus sa Genesis bus station din.  It usually arrives before 11pm.  Sobrang comfy ang seat, friendly stewardess.  I like it because I've read somewhere that they have set their bus' speed limit to 100kph.  The travel was smooth.

Mga sis, ano na mga nice restos sa Baguio now? Biglaang trip this weekend, trip lang namin ni husband. We're thinking: the usual Cafe by the Ruins and Forest House.. Meron ba bago? Yung medyo nice ang paligid or ang view.. We'll be staying sa may Camp John Hay, and me car naman kaming dala..

Edit: i read up sa Tripadvisor, mukhang we'll try out Hill Station and Bliss Cafe.

Maganda at masarap sa hill station sis though medyo pricey nga lang.. =)

^ Nagtingin ako online ng menu ng Hill Station and naeexcite ako. Mukhang masasarap ang food.. Three meals lang kasi kami sa Baguio (at most four, me breakfast buffet sa hotel e), and gusto namin mag-try ng mga bagong restos..

^nakapag-stay na po kami dito last 2011.

4 floors siya with garage. around 3k yung 2nights namin dito. ang kinuha namin eh 2 double deck bed plus one king's bed. tahimik po ang lugar and mga around 50m from Gilligan's Resto at Jollibee. and less than 200m from Burnham Park. Around  Php60 ang taxi po from Baguio market or SM Baguio.

Just got back from Baguio, walang water yung Burnham lake. Still had fun kahit 11 hours lang ako dun.

If you're going to the grand parade make sure to be there early, streets gets jam packed very early! plus won't be nice to tour around on the same day because it's very traffic.

We were 4 when we went to Baguio for shooting a documentary on the Diplomat Hotel. We were able to get a transient home na solo namin. 300 per head ang binayad namin per day.

plan namin ng mga officemates ko this holy week puntang baguio.. makapag-enjoy kaya kami?? daming  tao nun for sure.. hehe.. nag-bback read na din ako for our accomodations.. below 20 persons kasi kaming lahat.. hehe..
