Following this thread. Cannot decide yet kung mag-DIY ako ng dessert table or kuha na lang ng supplier for my daughter's binyag. Though next month pa naman yung event, I think I have enough time pa to prepare should I decide to DIY it. Hehe

Hi, sis imaevelasquez. Both ways are possible if you still have a month. I suggest you backread this thread to know the pros and cons of designing your own dessert table. What's your theme ba? If it's not too complicated, then DIY mo na. Downside lang, madami kayong bitbit papunta and pauwi from the party. Unless, sa bahay nyo gagawin ang reception, then it's easier kahit papaano.

Hi sis Mrs. Na thank you for your insights. Well, actually it would  be just a simple pink and white themed party. I am also weighing the pros and cons. I've actually browsed yung mga suggested suppliers on this thread, and when I asked them for their rates I find it too pricey for me. They have lower rates kaya lang I think yung design/setup nila for that package were I think tinipid naman nila, or in somewhat, very limited. Though I understand, of course it's a business. Meron akong mga nakita nag-DIY here sa thread which I find much better pa than sa mga setup ng suppliers.

How much is your budget allocation for a candy buffet/dessert table? And would like to ask suggestions na kung sa binyag, which would you prefer, candy buffet or dessert table? TIA mga sis sa mga sasagot!

May nabook naman po kasi akong mura and maganda ang service. I think you have to let the supplier know your preference din. I know naman some suppliers na hindi nagtitipid sa decor.

We decided na not to push through the DIY candy buffet. Nakakastress pala maghanap ng mga supplies. Plus, the cost of it sa tingin namin mas mamahalan kami.

Budget namin sis is Php5000-6000 for 50-60pax. I've found a good supplier (finally!!!) na ok magsetup plus free fondant cake pa. Nakahanap ako ng magandang setup sa Etsy, and ipapagaya ko na lang sa supplier yung setup

I didnt post pala mg DIY candy buffet. More or less 3k nagastos ko. Hindi nako masyado bumili ng jars. Nag improvise nalang ako and used also old wares na meron ako sa bahay. I bought 3 kilos of
gummy candies ke gummiehaven yan yun medyo nagpamahal.. the rest sa grocery na. I also made cookie pop. OK ito kasi you can make it days before.

Baka hindi na sis ItsJess. Medyo hindi naman malaki yung venue sa Max's Sucat yung good for 50pax nila. Siguro sa first birthday na lang ni baby.

gum balls (>700g) - P80
strawberry tops + gummy bears (1800g) - P630 (these I got from pick & mix for 50% off)
marshmallows (3 packs) - ~ P160
sponge crunch (6 packs) - ~ P200
choco chips (6 packs) - ~ P270
big lollipops (12pcs) - P35
jelly ace (150pcs) - ~P130
