Hello! Just got from BKK And we had great experience Thank God wala kameng naencounter ni hubby na scam,even sa taxi buti nalang yung mga nasakyan namin, switch on agad nila yung meter   Yung weather naman, medyo cloudy na biglang uulan pero sandaling sandali lang at nasa loob kame ng mall tee hee! may free rivercruise pala to Asiatique Overall, if may chance babalik kame sa bangkok ulit

bawal din ba ang sleeveless and shorts sa ayutthaya & bang pa-in palace? also, dun sa mga nakapag-DIY in ayutthaya, pano ang pagpunta sa bang pa-in palace? thanks! 

Sa pagkakaalala ko, ok lang naman sleeveless and shorts (basta hindi naman p*kp*k shorts, hehe), pero me certain areas like papasok ng temple na di pwede above the knee and kita ang shoulders.. to be safe, you can bring a light cardigan. Meron naman sila pinapahiram na sarong if ever bawal shorts/skirts na above the knee.

Sorry, no idea ako how to DIY Bang Pa-In. If you rent a car with driver from Bangkok, then it will be easier to make the stop at Bang Pa In. It'll be worth it, nice dun.

^same here sis, may napili na kong 4 temples na gusto kong ivisit sa ayutthaya. pag naghire ba ng tuktuk doon, pwede lahat basta per hour ang singil?

^ pwedeng per hour, pwede din kontrata na for the 4 sites. Depende sa mane-nego mo with tuktuk driver.

Back na from Bangkok, as in currently on the road pauwi from airport, hehe..

yung bang  Don Mueang International Airport malayo sa city? meron bang airport train from there?

^ depends sa traffic, Don Muang is about 30mins to 1hr from city. Sa pagkakaalam ko, wala pang airport train to Don Muang. I think taxi is the best option.

I think almost same layo siya as Suvarnabhumi, pero kinda opposite directions sila from city.

^ that, I cannot say, as I haven't dealt with them personally. Mga kaibigan ko lang ang nag-DIY. My first trip there, we joined a tour (BangPaIn + Ayutthaya + lunch and river cruise back to Bangkok). The next one, 4 kami, so we rented a car with driver through our hotel (entrance fees we paid separately; BangPaIn + Ayutthaya; then naghanap na lang kami makakainan ng lunch dun). The most recent one, 8 kami, so for convenience, we rented a van with driver and guide from Bangkok (BangPaIn + Ayutthaya inc entrance fees and buffet lunch in a hotel).

But I would guess that like in Bangkok, there could be some challenge in terms of language, even in tourist areas. And based sa mga nakita ko, walang pila ang tuktuk, you can nego with whoever you want.

Hi just got back from BKK. Hindi ako ng DIY but may naka chit chat ako ng pinoy while taking pictures there na naka DIY. He said na the driver understands basic english daw. You can't really strike a conversation with them pero magkakaintindihan pa rin naman daw kayo when it comes to directions. Minsan daw dinadagdagan na lang nya ng hand gestures.

mga sis pa-help naman.. aling hotel ba ang maganda if mag midnight check in and early morning check out..
with our cebupac tickets kasi 11:50pm ang arrival namin sa bkk.. tapos yung pauwe naman namin is 9:35am ang flight which means we have to check out at about 630am at the hotel para makapunta sa airport and check in 2 hours before our flight. Please help mga sis if may ideas kayo.. Many Many Thanks!

Saan pwede mag stay if 1st time namin in bangkok and diy lang. Our main purpose is shopping, buy tamarind and coffee for pasalubong, elephant show, food trip and see a temple or two.

^ for shopping, find a hotel around Siam or Pratunam area. Better if there is a BTS or MRT station na malapit.

If your budget will allow it, stay in Novotel, it's right beside Platinum Mall, and walkable to Central World, Paragon, etc.
