^ yan ang di ko masabi, sis. Hehe.. parang Pilipinas weather lang din kasi dun.. I went there on different months (March, April, June, July, September, October) and wala naman nag-standout na super-ok or super-pangit.. but, they do have mid-year sale ng July-August so you might consider that if you want to go mall shopping. Then they have Songkran ng April (parang fiesta ng San Juan sa atin, so basaan). Perhaps you can consider going there during events/festivals, you can check bangkok.com i think me schedule ng events dun..

For Day2, yes kaya ang 3 temples ng half-day. Then you go to floating market and elephant village sa hapon. Then you can have dinner sa food court ng Terminal 21 (BTS Asok or MRT Sukhumvit), mura at masarap din.

Sis if hindi ko feel yung floating market at yung elephant village at ayoko na magshopping haha, what else can we do sa hapon? Malapit lang ba yung elephant village? how many hours ang ispend dito and how much yung rates?

Saturday ko gagawin yung temple tour, pwede rin kami magChatuchak market kaso puro shopping na gagawin namin ng first day eh.

sa agoda ako nagbooked. i suggest near bts/mrt yung piliin mo..ang init maglakad at super traffic dyan sa pratunam area. ok [textspeak!] yung bangkok city hotel.

^^ sis, you can go to Vimanmek Mansion, kasama na ang admission dito sa Grand Palace ticket. Then you can go to Lumpini Park, libre naman to, except if gusto nyo magrent ng boat. Or you can check out the other malls, like Central World and Siam Paragon. Or have afternoon tea sa hotels.

^^ sis, if you're ok with tiangge shopping, then yes, super dami mo mabibili in Bangkok. Sa Platinum Mall pa lang, solb ka na. Or sa Chatuchak if nataon na andun ka ng weekend. Mura kasi talaga, and you can haggle pa if at least 2-3pcs bibilhin mo in one store.

^ what type of branded goods, sis? Perhaps you can check out the downtown Duty Free near BTS Victory Monument station (me free tuktuk ride from the kanto, or you can just walk ng konti). Got a Tissot watch for the husband from there, and some bags, skincare products and perfumes. Lowdown is, you only get your goods at the airport before your flight. Wala naman ako naging problem with the airport pickup since kung ano naman pinili mo, yun exactly ang naka-pack.

Or check out the shops in Paragon,  Central World and Gaysorn malls.

Thanks sis! Good thing sunday morning dating namin bkk, may chance mag chatuchak. Btw, from the airport magkano kay cab fare papunta hotel (bangkok city hotel)?  Mukang madami na tayong mga sisses na nakapag stay na dito. Salamat!!!

^ taxi fare from airport to city may be around thb500 including toll fees (you have to pay for the toll fees). Cheaper option, and if wala masyado dala, you can take the airport express train to phaya thai station, then from there you can either transfer to BTS or take a taxi na.

Currently in BKK. Weather is mainit during the day, tapos uulan ng sandali. Sunday afternoon medyo malakas ulan pero sandali lang. Late afternoon until gabi generally ok ang weather, though around 8pm-ish bigla bumagsak ulan, pero few mins lang. Today naman, super-init nung lumabas ako around 2pm. Naglakad lang ako from hotel going to Platinum kaya ramdam ko ang init. Paglabas ko ng Platinum around 6pm, basa ang kalsada pero wala ng ulan. malamang umulan while I was inside, sakto sa timing, hehe..tonight, weather was ok naman, wala ng ulan.

Hi sisses! Checking in from Bangkok. Yday's weather was really nice, di umulan at all, and di rin ganun kainit. Got some items from H&M, as well as from Downtown Duty Free. Merong Zara sale sa atrium ng Amarin Plaza (walking distance from Paragon/Central World or BTS Chitlom pinakamalapit na station) until Sept25, pero wala ako nabili kasi namahalan pa din ako (lagi ko kasi nako-compare sa mabibili sa Platinum or sa MBK, haha!). And medyo di ko feel yung mga tops/blouses. But they do have a nice selection of pants and cute skirts on sale, wala lang kasya sa akin, hehe..

Now looking outside the hotel window, medyo cloudy. Pero maaliwalas naman.. sana wag umulan. This afternoon, I'm going to check out a new-ish mall outside central Bangkok, Mega Bangna Mall (opened in 2012 lang yata) -- looks promising for me kasi me Ikea (my favorite "wasteland", haha!). And I pretty much just want to check it out since it's "new" for me, and it's off the usual tourists' path. yun lang.
