sayang, i can't view your pics. anyway, diba wilton ang candy melts?  :) and i guess you can adjust the quantity of frosting you put para di masyado matamis yung cake pops mo. :)
It's hard to get anything Wilton here in Perth, so if I need Wilton, I buy from Amazon na lang. Yung eyeballs yun ang Wilton sa mga supplies ko otherwise most stuff I buy locally lang. I just gave the Duncan Hines a try that's why I used it. ok naman ang cakeballs ko. What I learned is that you have to refrigerate or freeze for 5-15 minutes as soon as you mix the cake with the frosting BEFORE you shape them. When you've shaped it, coat a few pieces at a time, leave the rest in the ref para hindi ma-deform or otherwise malaglag from the stick. I plan to make some for hubby's birthday (hence the eyeballs- he wears eyeglasses kasi eh, so I'm going to make cake ball heads na naka-eyeglasses din). for coloring I prefer the liquid one, it's easier to control the right shade if you do drop by drop of each color. I keep my candy melts in small ceramic bowls in a pan of warm water para hindi makapal ang coating.

Sorry if hindi niyo ma-view yung photos, I think it's something to do with my Fb settings...

Gumagawa ako cake balls pag may free time ako.
I made cake balls cake pops blog post few months ago.

If youre planning to make these as giveaways, it is recommended that you make them a night before. If you will try to store the balls inside the fridge for days and you will serve them, mag sweat yung chocolate, mag mo moist. kapag naman may nilagay kang white lollipop sticks na paper, magkakaron ng brown stain yung bandang ilalim na pinagtusukan. maganda kapag plastic sticks.

i agree, make them a night before the occasion. re the moist, i think depende din sa weather or climate (if you're in another country). kasi ako i made the cake pops a day before and wrapped them in plastic, di naman nag moist when i served them.

To Sis Jenny, wow inggit naman ako sa mga gawa mong cake pops. Pang professional na talaga ang mga designs mo.  Ask ko lang kung paano mo na melt yung Candy Melts mo?  I tried to make cake pops before, kaso lang mano-mano style ang pag melt ko ng chocolates for dip, wala kasi akong microwave. :-[ :-[ :-[

i agree!

i'm not sure but i think SM doesn't have chocolate melts, chocolate bars for baking siguro meron. You can try baking specialty shops. madami naman all around the metro.

Finally nakagawa na ako, First time,Lol, I can say not bad but not so satisfied either sa mga gawa ko, una i feel na parang medyo nalakihan yung mga sizes nung cake balls, next time i'll buy yung baking pan na talaga for the cake balls, para same lahat nung sizes, 2nd - wala ng Candy Melts dun sa Wal-mart, isang balot nalang ang natira at color lime green pa, kaya na try ko na lang yung white almond vanila baking chocolate blocks, i cut it in half and yun muna ang una kong ininit using microwave only, ayun parang nag overheat ata at nag iba na ang texture, then try ko ulit yung left over half and this time i didn't keep too long sa microwave kaya ayun naging ok naman siya, medyo nahirapan lang ako ng konti when i deep the balls na dun sa melted choco, parang nag di-drip siya ng konti, kaya lagay ko agad sa ref, I'll try to do this again and hopefully I'll make them better this time. here's my cake pops pala :)

^^^ They're nice sis. You really have to drip the excess choco melts . Otherwise the coating will be too thick and its difficult to bite lalo na for kids. That's why others use vegetable shortening para tama lang ang coating.

^ yng cake pop maker matrabaho sya gamin. kasi una, ilang pcs lang magagawa nia. tapos once baked, kailangan trim mo pa yun edges nia. di ganun kasiksik ang laman ng cake (parang me hangin konti) kasi di ganun ka-compact once insert mo lolly stick so mas me tendency mag break sya.

experience lang yan ha pero maybe in fairness, depende sa gumagamit. diskarte.

anyway, share ko lang yung latest cakepops i did for the cake stall in my daughter's school. donated this for their school's fundraising.

meet my assorted moods of piggies with cupcake cakepops. homemade cake in oreo cheesecake and triple chocolate fudge brownies.
