Finally got my kindle paperwhite. It actually arrived early but then my hubby noticed some bubbles on the screen so I had it replaced. Very easy process. Just chatted with amazon CS thru their website, gave them the details and voila! next day delivered na ang new kindle ko. then you can return the damaged item within 30 days free of charge pa. happy!

^ i cannot speak for all, but i got a kindle because of the less eyestrain due to the e-ink technology compared to reading on a mobile phone or tablet screen.

^ Yes! I used to read lang thru my iphone and most of the time audiobooks kasi nga masalit talaga sa mata magbasa sa phone. But now I can finally read all day long without suffering from headache after plus i get to save lots of money coz i don't need to buy books anymore puro downloaded lang.

same with @blackshirt13 sa iPod touch ko lang din ako nagbabasa dati, mga 2 years din yun lol inabuso ko yung mata ko himala nga 20/20 pa din. now I'll take good care of my eyes na and hence the e-ink preference

Decided against buying a Kindle again. Got me a Nexus 7 as an e-reader, downside is I get distracted. LOL

just to add pala i don't need dictionary in my sidetable anymore and I don't need to write in my notebook straight away if i like a quote or passage while reading i just need to highlight then just copy it whenever I have time thus making me read faster
So far hindi pa ako bumibili ng book sa amazon lahat so far free

I feel dumb not to research about the other e-readers and so I found out that the Nook Glowlight looks pretty sweet, any reviews?? it has buttons ata sa sides which is pretty cool

it's a perfect fit, and very sturdy. but honestly, it adds weight to the kindle. i was actually thinking of getting another more lightweight case, super gaan kasi nung kindle touch case ko before, kaya i noticed agad the weight difference. i got used to it din eventually. i like that i can just toss it in my bag and not worry. the case automatically locks the kindle as well.

2 months na yung kindle ko and i didnt register it. kanina ko lang naisipan iregister and unfortunately naglabasan na yung ads including sa screensaver though hindi naman sila nakakdistract while reading the ebook itself
