^ wow sis! that's a very nice and detailed comparison of Kindle PaperWhite and Nook Glowlight.

I have the nook glowlight and im happy with it naman. pero marami nga din nagsasabi na mas maganda ang lighting ng paperwhite.

^^thanks sis. onga pala nuh, only kindle keyboard comes with the charger adapter. thankfully i have so win-win. hehe!

^awe welcome been watching a bunch of vids comparing the two lol meron pa nga silang mga secret web browsers pero sabi nga nung isa don't attempt na with the browser ng paperwhite while on the glowlight medyo mas ok yung browser nya madami lang steps. ahhh buti compatible the chargers less gastos.

@kayesl ako rin mas leaning towards the nook ako loyal to the brand and i like the interface din and the no ads. i downloaded the kindle app on my google nexus walang review nung mga books and i couldnt go back to the main menu. siguro kasi it was just an app and not from the reader itself.  hows the light on yours pala? some say there a hue of blue  pero when i saw it sa store di naman.  sana they can cross platforms man lang since naka drm lock naman sila both or whatever that lock thing is called.

ano rin pala i think the paperwhite can go uncharged for 8 weeks nook ata 1 month lang. but either one i think it's  nifty to have reader that's safe for night reading.

How bout Kobo Glo? Any reviews?

^ ako naman i chose nook kasi tamaditis akong mag-convert ng mga ePub ko to Kindle format.  gusto ko drag and drop na lang. hehe. at saka mahirap bumili sa Amazon eh. im not in US. madami daw nabo-block.  sa B&N mas ok. i can directly buy from their site or from my nook with a little work around lang.
ay may ad pala ang paperwhite? oh i would hate that!
for me the light on the nook is ok naman. it's currently set to lowest brightness kasi ayaw ko ng sobrang liwanag lalo na pag lights off.  tamang-tama lang yung light nya panggabi. blueish? medyo pero ok lang sa akin. the best talaga yung buttons nya. pede ako magbasa naka-side - either left or right. heheh.
ang naiinis lang ako now sa b&n matagal maglabas ng bagong book. i want to buy colleen hoover's new book Hopeless pero wala pa sa kanila.  at saka mas madalas mag-free or discount ang mga books sa amazon.

^lol sana mag price match sila yun din marami cheaper books sa amazon and ayaw ko din mag convert now that you've mentioned it. the buttons rin work with me since i'm a lefty so it's like an issue i have with scissors   sana nga meron din sila auto scroll feature like the one they have on their downloadable app makes reading such a breeze.

^ yup, i got my kindle from them. hassle-free transaction, mabait naman kausap and accommodating.

^^idk if this is allowed pero i also got my kindle from them among a few other things. krisitine is very nice and very accommodating. always replies on the dot and when i went to her place to pick up and pay for my kindle, she's so nice giving me directions and calling me pa nga when nawawala na ako.

I'm just curious, what books are blocked with Kindle/Amazon? I had a harder time purchasing books with B&N kasi you had to do a workaround pa to be able to purchase from Philippines. With Amazon 1-click lang - tada! It's there na hehe.

About the charger, I just use my ipad or iphone charger to charge my Kindle.

About the ads, the ads do not appear while reading. Screensaver lang siya when you lock your Kindle. Does not disrupt your reading at all.

^yes you can claim the warranty. she can give you a copy of the receipt so that you can use it.

^pre order ka na lang sis. ok lang yan. before you know it andyan na paperwhite mo. and christmas season talaga kasi. parang famous gift idea sa states ang kindle eh.

truedat i saw a friend's kindle it doesn't disrupt reading nga, just go by preference nalang if you want to see ads or not.

out of the blue napabili ako ng kobo mini it was marked down at one bookstore. i tried looking at the kobo light pero di gumagana yung nasa display and, it, poised beside the mini it won my heart. pero now i am close to regretting the purchase  coz for the 2nd time since i started playing with it the screen froze and now it's stuck, that's what happened to the koboglo on display. *sigh*.


ahhh ok so there's a reset button at the back but you need to remove the cover so siguro keep a small sized paperclip with your kobo  for any emergency resetting needed. i'm taping one at the back of mine.

^nope sis kindle keyboard pa rin sa akin pero i'm planning to buy paperwhite next year.

ako naman dati puro pdf ebooks ko then a week or so before the arrival of my kindle i've been converting all my ebooks to mobi. haha. yes calibre na lang para easy to convert. maramihan pa.

January pa magkaka-stock ng Paperwhite sa binilhan ko ng Kindle Touch dati haha. after researching and thanks for your reviews  I decided to upgrade para di na rin hassle pag gabi magbasa I think it's worth it naman.

Have to let go of my touch though kahit love ko sya. happy holidays everyone happy reading!

^i wont let go of my previous ebook reader kahit bumili na ako ng bago. haha! kasi gusto ko talaga mangolekta ng books so dun ko na lang siya istore.
