Invitations (Part 2)

Our wedding will start at 3pm pero we put 2pm sa invites. We have lots of friends and relatives are latecomers and I've been to weddings na late talaga yung ibang guests tipong homily na dun lang dumating sa church.

I had a chat with our host and she asked about  what time the ceremony will start.. when I said 2pm..comment nya agad naku 2.30pm pa yan magstart for sure..coz usually yung 2pm pipila pa lang.. eh yung Christian ceremony is a bit longer than a catholic ceremony.. so I'm thinking narin if I should put 1.30 or stick with 2pm..  haha.. kaso madami na kong nasabihan na 2pm hahaha

we placed the exact time of the ceremony sa invite which is 2:30. as expected, maraming na-late at madaming hindi nakapagmarch. when i asked my coordinator kasi whether its ok to put an earlier time on the invite, she said its a big no-no nga daw kasi some guests do arrive on time. ok na din yun. our march started 2:15 then yung actual ceremony started exactly at 2:30 which is what is indicated sa invite. then the reception started around 5:30. pero mga 5pm nagsserve na ng appetizers dun sa venue.

We put on our invitation the correct time and used "at exactly 3 o'clock in the afternoon" because personally I hate it when people give you the wrong time bec I feel they didnt trust me enough to be considerate and on time. While I always make it a point to always be on time, I do understand that some people do not behave the same way. So actually for the guests I've accepted if ganun sila, ganun sila talaga. Lets say na come 3pm and walang guests talaga, its ok and we will still start the wedding on the said time. Basta for the entourage and principal sponsors, since they are all close to me and the groom and they are all reasonable adults, we'll just talk to them to be there earlier (coordinator will set the time...and there will be pictorials sa preps place din naman so Im not too worried they wont make it to the church) and I trust that they will be there for us

Most of our bridal party is staying with us at the venue and I'm providing a shuttle for the guests, so I hope everything will run on time! The guests should be arriving about 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony and we'll be serving welcome drinks.

mga sis! advise naman. i want a simple 3-page wedding invite lang. so that's 1 main invite, 1 entourage and then the last page which is usually for RSVP and the map. but i want to put sana more details here like dress code, monetary gifts only and no kids if pwede. i got a few tips here sa GT on how to phrase these pero im worried na baka masyado ng maraming nakagay sa 3rd page ng invitation. should i add more page na lang or bawasan na lang yung details? i want to be specific kasi with these kasi para they cant reason out na hindi sila nasabihan.

You can separate the RSVP into another card sis. It can be smaller if you want.. or maybe the map..para the guests can carry it as a guide.

Hi sis bzbee, the invitation i had done was also just simple, with three 5x7 inserts: cover page with the details of the time venues, entourage page, & the 3rd page for rsvp, dress code, hashtag to use. Initially I was thinking of adding a 4th insert for the map, pero smaller lang (like half the size). But since my wedding is in makati and I know my guests are already familiar with the locations plus the venues are very close to one another, i opted not to include a map anymore. My suggestion is, like my original plan, maybe you can have the map printed in a separate and smaller insert para not too crowded yung 3rd page mo. You can even have it printed dun sa mga parang transluscent paper, not necessarily on cardstock (or print it yourself na lang) para mas cost effective na rin

Ours have separate pages for map and rsvp. Ayaw ko kasi crowded.

ours was a 3page invite as well. pero yung rsvp and map was in one page lang, back to back printing. smaller din yung size nya dun sa main invite and entourage page, nagkasya naman lahat ng details, may drawing pa nga ng dress code yung samin eh. kaya yan sis. i can send you a sample if you like. just pm me your email.  hth!

^ we got sweetscapes.  we definitely made the right choice. everybody loved our invites.  plus she replies promptly, even nung time na she gave birth. she was still able to attend to me.

^ we had it printed sa ibang supplier (printcity). got sweetscapes' introductory rate of 500pesos. madaming inclusions yun. she did our save the date, main wedding invite, monogram and photobooth layout. i will be posting my complete supplier review soon sis. kasama na si sweetscapes sa review. hehe

I got sweetscapes too sis.. I got her full package as well and nag pa add pako ng ibang services. Printing of invites is c/o Concepts and technology.
Mabait sya and mabilis magreply, unlike my  first choice invitation designer.
