Especially since most people dont even know that difference between letterpressed, engraved, foil-stamped, and thermography.

sis i have to admit i am part of the group of people who wouldn't know the difference. haha! ill do my research once i get to the invitations part.

^Actually sis bzbee, to be honest I didn't know all the different types of printing also. I mean I could tell if the lettering was raised, or engraved on, or just printed via regular jet ink printer. But I honestly wasn't aware at how much more expensive one type of printing was compared to others. I only knew what I liked and found nice... which I was shocked to find out was so expensive apparently!!

So to be honest, I dont think it is worth the extra cost and no one will notice the difference. I think I will be ok with Thermograph printing. I am avoiding regular flat printing though.

Chili, how many pieces is your invitation suite? You could just do fancy printing on the main invitation and flat on the rest para tipid. I did flat + foil stamping for our save the dates and they turned out really well.

we sent a link to our wedding website through email and facebook messenger. we feel that the website does a better job of informing our guests about the wedding, where they can stay and what they can do because we have a lot of guests coming from out of town/country. we also set up our rsvp through the website and we can generate an excel sheet with everyone who rsvp-ed listed there. we will just send hardcopy invites to the principal sponsors and older guests mid-year.

Thanks sis sevenstars for the great idea!! I was thinking of a 3 page invitation suite, but I was thinking of compressing it to 2 pages (no entourage card) to save printing costs hehe.

i asked him kasi nagtatalo na kami..

me: what do you usually do when you receive any invitation?
him: throw it in the bin (which usually happens!)

but he really wants an elegant one.. then now pop-ups which is different and expensive!

ang mahalia lang kay global invitations! si kenneth uy gumagawa din at 80-300 range, um-okay na sya sa price at ayoko nalang isipin ang cost! may masusuggest pa kayo?

^Just booked by invitations with Annasthetic Designs. They're not known at all but they had very close pegs to what I want my invites to look like and more importantly, they're only about P100 apiece, with envelope liner, envelope addressing, and seal na yan . No design fee pa and free gift tags for my souvenirs. I cannot yet recommend them any further than this because I haven't worked with them and no one seems to know them. Hehe.

I dont want to spend much on invites because personally no matter how nice it is I also always throw it out after What's important to me is just they are in line with the look that I want and the supplier is easy to talk to.

hello! i saw them sa bridal fair sa megamall and i really like their style - i love  Annasthetic designs.  yun nga lang ang layo kasi naka base yung office nila sa Marikina ata. anyway if my choice lang ako yun talaga ang kukuhain ko kasi super cute and maganda talaga ang design.

Sorry i forgot to include sa previous post ko, Mga sis where to buy envelopes for your invitation, actually yung sakin kasi wala yun kasama kaya ako nalang ang bibili, wala naman din ako natanungan ng gumagawa ng envelopes with customized design. please help. thank you! 


ang size ng invi ko is basic lang yung common size ng mga wedding invitations. ty

Sis carlee, im not too concerned kung malayo office nila kasi i don't think I will ever need to go there. We will discuss and approve the layout over email. Also, for delivery upon completion we agreed to meet in Megamall which is 15mins from my house No more courier fees, so i chose her over my next option.

Guys, may sample wording ba kayo for invitations in Chinese? Alam ko madami sa net pero karamihan kasi ng bilingual invites na nakikita ko sa Google mga Singaporean eh. I'm not sure kasi if may difference ba yung wording dun and dito.

And we want to design the invites ourselves so wording lang talaga kailangan namin.

Anyone knows where can i buy black envelopes? Or silver gray? DIY invitation kasi kami andami ng bookstore at stationery section sa department stores ang napuntahan ko pero wala ako makita. Tried looking sa divi wala din.. 😞

I finally received the initial draft of our wedding invites last night. Thank you to caleeice and shygirlme for the recommendation. She did them the way I envisioned the design. Nakakakilig pala hehe.. Few revisions na lang then ready na for printing.

Yes sis, mabilis at maayos gumawa.. kuhang kuha nya ang peg ko. good decision na nilet go ko si MG, otherwise baka tapos na wedding hindi pa tapos ang invitations.

Invitation suite plus monogram, wedding programme and menu. Pinoprovide kase ni kbyc menu for vip only.. so papagawa ako for the rest of the guests..

we started giving out our invitation.. time-consuming din pala esp the guests are from different places talaga.. for the PS and closest friends, we meet them personally for the invitation.
for the PS overseas, we sent it via registered article though na-inform na namin sila ahead ng details.. mas preferred kase namin yung me matanggap silang hard copy compared sa electronic copy lang..

the remaining 75% of the invitations will be distributed by our parents, to our relatives..
