^oo nga eh, pero ngayon back to wedding preps na ulet.

Now ko lang naisip ang hirap hirap palang i DIY ng invitation or maarte lang ako. haha!

just wanna share na we're so close to production na. nasend na ni Ms. Elyn of Concepts and Technology yun revised invites namin and it looks really nice. need na lang nya na i-finalize namin ni h2b ang review then give her the sign-off na final na + payment of 75% of the balance. happy much! ang lapit na! next Monday, October na! wiiiiiiiii!

Hello mga sis, I posted din ito sa wedding theme thread pero post ko lang din dito kasi related sya sa invitations

We're having a movie-themed wedding, and nagpapa-layout na ako now ng invites. Our invitations will be poster and movie ticket-type. Help naman kung ano magandang gawing title for our movie/wedding. I've attached two pictures na balak namin gamitin sa poster, we're still choosing what to use between the two. Sadly, the first photo na HHWW kami (holding hands while walking), wala na kaming high-res file, I just grabbed it from FB and ako lang nag-edit para may sample. The other pic
naman, yung pic ng shoes namin ni H2B, meron ako high-res and unedited copy of the file kaya baka yan yung gamitin talaga namin. Our prenup pictorial kasi will be held a week before the wedding pa, so we'll just be using old pics na lang. Nasa abroad kasi si H2B kaya pagdating pa lang nya kami makakapag-prenup...

Mga sis, has anyone tried laser-cutting service for your invites or decor? I mean ikaw ang nagprovide ng design & materials and you just get their service. Magkano po?

I'm having a stressful time dealing with our invitation supplier. We were originally thinking na DIY nalang yung invites, but since both my fiance and I are very busy and we wanted to lessen the stress of doing wed preps and work deadlines, we got a supposedly reputable supplier in a mall. When we signed the contract and gave deposit they said latest na mabibigay yung invites will be on November 9. Para mas mapabilis ang proofing (also upon their suggestion), we gave them a soft copy of the text in Word format para copy paste nalang. It took them 5 revisions, hindi pa nga perfect. I had to let go some missing periods and commas nalang para lang ma-go na. Hindi ko maintindihan bakit hindi maka-gets ng instructions yung gumagawa ng layout nila, simpleng "add space between lines" lang naman yung major issues and spelling (na dapat tama na since may soft copy ng text). At one point, sobrang exasperated na ko dun sa nagllayout I called the main office na and asked to speak to the person who does the layout. I verbally gave the instructions na explaining what was in the email, pero eto: yung sinend na proof after that walang difference dun sa previous proof. Tapos ngayon sasabihin nila na November 16 na makukuha yung invitations. Sana nag-DIY nalang pala kami. Sorry gusto ko lang mag-rant

may we know who's your supplier? para maging aware yung iba nting sisses na ganoon sila magtrabaho.. haggard lang, kaloka naman..

i came from a big family and i would like to trim down our number of guests for the wedding. what's the best way kaya para hindi iinvite yung kids sa wedding? my cousin put "this is an adults only affair" on her wedding invitation and medyo marami sa relatives namin ang nagreact negatively. ano pa kaya pwedeng ilagay sa invitation para magets ng relatives ko na adults-only affair yung wedding namin? thanks!

^ aside from stating it's an adult affair only sis what im doing is when i send out the invites lagay ko yung number of seats reserved for the guests... Never ever put Mr and Mrs x and Family. nako pag may family na djan na tayo mamroblema.

^ yun na nga sis eh, pag nilagay ko sa invitation na Mr. & Mrs. _____ and family, buong pamilya talaga ang pupunta at baka magsama pa ng mga kapitbahay / kaibigan nila na di ko naman kilala!
