Anyone been to the white space? I think its the one in pasong tamo, malaki at maganda daw yung loob pero yung labas, unsightly... Gusto ko lang malaman, how bad it looks from the outside, di ko pa mavisit kasi...

still no venue for our reception! mga sis sa july 2013 na 10mos to go wala pa rin reception! medyo panic mode na. di pa kasi kami decided pero ang gusto ni hubby sa plaza ibarra. maganda ang package pero sa richgold kasi makakatipid kami lalu na't may emcee sila. ang problema lang venue. ang hirap humanap ng venue sa QC na 30k or below. ang gusto kasi namin indoor garden type like patio ibarra or village patio. suggestions? hehe

venues near st francis of assisi in shaw (beside lourdes school)... im actually booked in discovery suites na, kaso parang ayaw ni [textspeak!] dun eh... he wants to see other options. for me kasi okay na dun kasi they'd do the food, set up, floral arrangements, 3 layer fondant cake, bottomless iced tea, cage with doves, basic sound system, wine for the toast, one accommodation for the couple, tapos meron pang anniversary treat sa discov tagaytay.. 150k for 80 pax, then addl 1.3k per person, so aabot kami ng 241k.. so ayun.. wala na ako maisip. :|

^palladium clubhouse, wack-wack, or endramada. sila yung alam kong medyo malapit, tipong a drive away lang. may events place din ata lancaster suites, di ko lang alam yung capacity niya.

mrsluluyz, sa saint francis ba ang church nyo? you can also try renaissance tower 1000, along meralco ave lang sya. kahilera ng megatent, deped, metrowalk. another option for you the legend villas sa robinson's pioneer banda. they have function rooms/packages for less than 100 pax.

im eyeing tektite pero kung kasya 150pax sa st francis tower function room, dun na lang. tawagan ko bukas.

thanks sa mga suggestions sis.. ni check ko na, nakalista na sa table ko dito yung mommy ko ayaw pakawalan yung discovery suites, sabi ko kaya mo ishoulder most of it? ayaw naman niya pumayag. :|

1. DAP (walking distance sa st. francis)
2. Prestige Tower
3. Tektite (mga 300pax ang kasya dito)
4. New Horizon Hotel (boni)
5. Legend Villas (boni)
6. Palladium Clubhouse (shaw)
7. Malayan Plaza ortigas
8. Renaissance tower halls (dito kami nag xmas party ng company dati)

hehe we were supposed to book Edsa Shrine dati kaya mega hanap din ako ng venues sa area na yan.. Ang mahirap kasi sa hotel hindi mo macustomize yung package.. you can have all those included sa package ng discovery with other caterers except the accommodation..

we had one client who was eyeing a 5 star hotel for her reception, but booked mango farm instead kasi ang laki ng savings.. sa hotel almost 400K for 150 guest, sa mango farm + kbycunanan wala pang 300k for 180 guests na.. sobrang laking tipid.. kahit mag-add sila ng accommodation hindi pa rin aabot ng 400k..

yun nga sis eh. mas mura nga tining ko sa ibang venue kahit pa umabot kami ng 180 guests. kaso si mommy ko pinipilit talaga discov eh hanggang 120 lang sila, at most yung iba, dun sila sa area outside the hallway., mga 20 pa. wala talaga. eh paano yung iba. hirap grabe. hay.

hi mga sis... tapos na ang remedy ko. we still ended up with Discovery Suites since ayaw talaga paawat si mama ko. bahala na lang we'll just not use round tables to at least accommodate 130 sa ballroom. and with the budget aayusin na lang yung menu, icocustomize na lang nila. perks na me account si mama sa kanila bec of her job as well as the fact that kasing tanda na yata ng discov ang aming "loyalty" sa kanila, dun ako nag debut pati sis ko, as well as other events of our family. hope all will go well with the venue na lang!
