In the south area, there's this new venue called Filinvest Tent. Hindi ko alam kung new and open na talaga 'to because I always go to alabang area and dito rin kami dumadaan going to Makati and Ortigas pero parang hindi ko napapansin. Main Hall is quite big.. Gives me an idea to stay put in the south area come wedding preps again.

hi sisses, aside from marc 2000, ramon magsaysay, teatrillo and casa blanca, may ma-suggest pa ba kayong indoor aircon venue within manila area? we're in the situation na all-set na lahat for the wedding, then suddenly, nagkaproblem kami date... sobrang nakaka-down na talaga, less than two months na lang eh :'( h2b contacted already all our suppliers, may one date na okay lahat except our venue (Marc 2000). sana matulungan nyo po ko makahanap ng venue. salamat!!!

Sis francejen sent you the terms & conditions ng park metro. Nag full payment na kayo dba? Anytime now isesend na sa inyo yung contract for your signature then babalik niyo ulit sa kanila.

prehtsel14 yup sis patio de manila check mo. or Silangan Hall ng CCP Complex.

^ Sis alin yung pang small occasions? Si Patio De Manila? 150 heads lang naman kami sis. So kasya dun I think. What do you think?

We started preparing for our Wedding since January 2012. We chose 12-12-12 for our wedding day since dates like this happen only once in a life time. I was raised in Antipolo, Rizal so we opted to look for a Venue within the area. But a lot of couples chose the same date as ours for their big day. It was already the end of February but still we can’t find a Venue in Antipolo that suits our taste and most importantly our budget.
My coordinator and I did a lot   of research and she kept calling the Venues that I suggested. Until, I came across this multiply account of an Events center in San Mateo, Rizal. I immediately called the number and asked if 12-12-12 is available. The person who answered my call was very accommodating and told me that since December is their peak season, we should be ready with our P10,000 reservation fee. I was thrilled and immediately asked my fiancée to come with me for an ocular the following Saturday.
When we got to the venue, we were impressed with the “parking space”  which was very important for us since we wanted to make sure that our guests will feel comfortable parking their cars outside our Wedding venue. The garden wasn’t so impressive. The bridal lounge was too and doesn’t even have its own washroom or  a bed to rest – just a small couch and a mirror. But since, we were overwhelmed that a venue is available for our chosen date – we immediately reserved the venue without even consulting our  Wedding coordinator.
Their marketing person informed us that the additional fee for each equipment that will be using an electricity will cost us P500/hour.  And their buffet for 150guests would only cost us P94,000.00. That was the highest package that they have for weddings. And that package would include lights and sounds.
We signed the contract after the ocular. We were informed that the next payment will be scheduled by  September or October since we booked pretty early (March 17, 2012 to be exact).
To my Coordinator’s surprise, she kept calling the events venue asking for a schedule so she could do an ocular – but her efforts have gone futile. Months passed until the owner scheduled us for an ocular last September 21, 2012. Unfortunately, when we got to the venue – the guard informed us that they are not open during Sundays! My fiancée, out of frustration and dismay called the owner. Her response to my   fiancée? “Sorry, it slipped my mind”. It slipped her mind that it was Sunday, for crying out loud! My fiancée was adamant that someone has to be there to accommodate us – take note this venue is an hour drive from our apartment and Sunday wasn’t really the best day even for us. The owner sent her Marketing personnel who we thought will be helpful to answer our queries. We were ready with our payment then.  We also informed the personnel that someone has been calling me and my coordinator asking for a reservation fee of P20,000 and claiming that she was the in-house caterer of the venue. Apparently – she was just an on call caterer just in case the in-house caterer will not be available for our Wedding. Sounds crazy huh?
But wait – there is so much more!We wasted our whole Sunday for nothing. No schedule for  food tasting was given to us. And get this: my coordinator was handed a flyer. You will be surprised: the flyer was really disappointing! They enumerated the things that we still need to pay on top of our Wedding package.
For Electric consumption: P10,000 for a full band; P2,000 for a photo booth, P500 for a projector,P1,500 for each Industrial fan…and the list goes on. The total add on to our Package will be around P20,000 – P30,000. That is, if we’re not going to extend our time there. By the wa , their fee is P2,500 per hour if we are to extend.
We were scheduled for a food tasting on October 5,2012. Surprisingly, the caterer was not even used to do food tasting. My very patient coordinator educated the caterer of the importance food tasting. So then came October 4. The caterer sent an SMS to my coordinator asking if we could re-schedule our food tasting from 1:00PM to 6:00PM on the same day so we could also see the set up they made for another client.

Without further discussions, we committed on their preferred time.

When we reached the Venue at around 5:30PM,we were immediately assisted by the Marketing Personnel. She even accompanied my coordinator to their washroom. My coordinator said that while they were at the washroom, she was instructed by the coordinator not to tell their in-house caterer about the other caterer who has been bothering us last August. We discussed the other charges to the Marketing Personnel, asking if they could at least remove the P10,000 electricity fee for our band. But she refused. We kept telling her that if these charges were discussed – we would have opted for a different venue.
In the middle of our conversation, the caterer handed us five (styro)  food containers placed in a red clear plastic bag. He said, we can bring those food at home. WOW!  Ever heard of a food tasting like this?
As for the reservation fee, the marketing personnel said that we should not be expecting a refund. That is just unacceptable. We were mis-leaded. I have scanned our Contract – for everyone to see that these charges were never discussed nor written in our contract. And what’s even worse it that when we reached home – the food they gave was already spoiled.
So, I guess that’s how they do business?
Two months left before our big day and yet, we are still looking for a Wedding Venue.

  :'(

PC talagang tested na, magandang good reviews. For PD though new siya sa industry and bagong nilang ka tie-up si Gids eh tingin ko can deliver din naman kasi Gids is known din naman. Siguro sa budget na lang magkakatalo yan. Nagkaroon ng promo ang PD kelan lang I'm not sure kung meron pa ring slot. Try to inquire sa 2 then dun mo malalaman kung sino ang swak for you. :)

You may want to try Richgold din maganda rin ang styling nila plus affordable ang package nila. :)
