^hi. since wala ka naman talagang passport, siguro you do not have to tell them na may nagsabi sayo na someone used your name unless gusto mo mablock o ma-warn sila about that person na gumamit ng name mo.

Finally, I got this thread. Well I just want to ask about my case. Mejo nali2to kase ako if possible ba na kumuha ako ng passport with a single status? I'm legally married naman but im physically separated now. Ndi ba magiging conflict yun if ever? And what mga documents na needed if ever single gamitin ko. And what If married naman? The reason why I want to use single status para sana mapadali pag alis ko.. Can anyone help me with my questions? mejo marami kya TIA!

As far as I know, you may use a "single" passport (under your maiden name). The usual requirements lang - birth certificate, ID. If married name naman gusto mo gamitin, just bring marriage certificate.

IMO, single or married status/name, wala naman kaso in terms of "mabilis makaalis", kasi immigration will still consider the destination and the purpose of travel, rather than the name.. but if you have a child na kasama babyahe, syempre mas convenient if same kayo ng family name. Mas wala ng tanong.

Ako sis, I am married but I still use my maiden name. Pero pag nag-fill ako ng forms, tini-tick ko ang married na civil status. Be careful lang sis kasi punishable ang false declarations.

hi! i have a question regarding sa passport requirement ng illegitemate child. i read na dapat kumuha ng notarized affidavit support & consent, dapat ba may signature yun ng biological mother? and kelangan ba  may letter from the mother? what if 6 years na hindi nagpapakita yung biological mom? and it's like, parang child abandonement na kasi wala na communication? by the way, the child stays with the biological father, gusto nya sana ikuha ng passport yung bata for a hk disneyland trip next year.. TIA

^Sis I think as long as one of the parents ang kasama ng minor mag-apply you can go without those consent documents. A relative has almost the same case, they only provided photocopies of NSO [textspeak!], id of the child and passport ng parent.

birth certificate of the child tapos yung  affidavit of support and consent executed by either parent indicating the name of the traveling companion and relationship to the minor. pag illegitimate yung minor, ang alam ko the mother should execute the affidavit

anybody experience rush processing? Aug 19 appointment ko and I am scheduled to leave Sept 12-14 sana, abot kaya?

^malamang hindi ka aabot sis. minsan di man natutuloy yung "rush" eh. madami silang reason.

i got my passport renewed last week. in fairness, the process was relatively painless. when i got a passport for my daughter, she was still an infant so we didn't have to line up but we got it from the DFA office pa in pasay. this time, i set the appointment in sm megamall. took us about 2 to 2.5 hours in and out, which i think was pretty good. sana lang maging ok yung rush.

Scheduled my passport renewal end of the month. Isabay ko na din apply ng passport si baby namin.

For baby, wala pa akong NSO birth certificate printed on security paper (yung yellow). Pero me nakuha na kami certified true copy from Local Civil Registry and ini-stamp sa back page ng taga-NSO sa City Hall.  Hopefully e I-accept yun ng DFA-Megamall. Sabi kasi sa LCR and yung NSO sa QC City Hall, yun daw pwede gamitin for passport application purposes. Sana nga pwede yun..

"Rush" din pinili namin option although wala pa naman kami scheduled trip sa ngayon. Kung sakali e sa November pa.

^sis pag nag-avail ka ng special lane for your baby, automatic rush processing yun, so 1200 ang fee nun.

Infairness to DFA, nung nagrenew eledest son ko, sakto naman and delivery. Sa Aseana branch ito.

^ yup, rush talaga plan ko. Tsaka pag weekend appointment e automatic din na rush processing, i think.

Question pala, do i need to fill out an application form for baby beforehand? O dun na ako mag-provide ng info sa encoder?

^you should fill out na the application for your baby sis. saka if appointment di ba may option na family appointment naman yung sa site

tapos pagdating sa dfa, eencode yung information na nasa application mo and then ccheck mo siya.

Sino nakatry dito gumamit ng travel document instead na passport? Malapit na travel date ko pero wala pa yung passport. Tinawagan ko embassy at sabi nila wala daw problema, apply nalang daw ako ng travel document sa kanila. One day processing lang daw, may konting bayad. First time ko po nakarinig about travel document gamitin instead passport. May nakaexperienced na po ba nito?
