Passport Thread 9 - Check first page for DFA's Website

Hi sissies, bago lang ako nakapag-apply passport, grabe 10pm kami nagstart pumila hanggang 2pm dito sa CDO. Thanks God, okey lahat documents ko, yun iba kasi kawawa pinapabalik kasi may kulang sa documents nila. By the way, ask ko lang po, Ilan months po ba kelangan hintayin bago makapagtravel if matanggap ko passport this June?

Hi mga sis! Confirm ko lang, for example, november 2015 ang expiration ng passport ko, pwede na ako magrenew ng november or december 2014? Or too early pa yun para magparenew? Medyo iniisip ko kasi magparenew na by that time since may travel kami ng june 2015 so less than 6 months na lang expiration nya ng passport which is bawal daw. Thanks.

@jodainess, worse here in Davao. People start lining up as early as 3AM to get into DFA which opens at 10AM at SM. DFA can only accomodate an average of 300-400 daily. People as far as Cotabato City go here for their application. Tsk, tsk. Such inefficiency!

hehe same lang yata sa cdo sis, grabe talaga muntik nako sumuko. Buti na lang hindi umulan at hindi masyado mainint nung time na iyon. Naaawa ako sa mga kasabay ko, from dipolog city pa sila pero may kulang na old id kaya hindi nakapagprocess. Higpit ng dfa sa cdo.

makakuha kaya ng passport pinsan ko bukas?konti lang kc docs niya..di kasi yon nag trabaho kaya wala siya ng mga sss i.d

ito dalin namin bukas :

- h.s yearbook
- 2 old employment i.d
- birth certificate
-nbi & police clearance

meron siyang E1 form pero luma na,since di na siya nag work di na ata valid yon? tagal kaai printing ng voters id kaya wala pa din kami pareho.

im planning to go to DFA SM Manila tomorrow for passport application for my 8th month baby and senior citizen dad. no need na for appointment right? walk in nalang po? meaning i do not need to fill out the application form online? just bring the necessary documents and all set na? TIA!

uopdate: went to apply passport for my 5month old baby and senior citizen dad at sm manila last saturday. ok naman. i took us less than an hour to process everything. mababait din staff nila dun and magalang.

Anyone who can confirm kung pwede mag-avail ang child ng courtesy lane, as per DFA website, 1y/o and below lang, pero someone told me na nung andun ang friend nya sa DFA Aseana, 7y/o and below daw ay pwede sa courtesy lane. Nakapagpa-appointment naman na ako para sa child ko (SM Manila), pero gusto ko sana sa DFA Aseana eh. Thanks.

^hi sis! according sa news articles, 7yo and below na daw ang pwede sa courtesy lane. Balak ko din dalhin 13month old baby ko sa DFA Aseana.

Sis, tingin ko naman ok lang. Pero tawag ka na din sa DFA office para sure. Pero checking their website, they have no passport renewal - minimum month before expiration policy.

hi sis nageinna! sorry sa noob question, pero kahit ba hindi senior citizen, pwede mag apply sa DFA SM Manila? Thanks!

^yes sis pwede. need mo magset appointment thru DFA website. and may option din dun if saan branch mo like mag apply. choose mo lang SM Manila

Sa mga nagpa-renew or kumuha ng new passports, kumusta ang releasing? On schedule ba o may delay pa din? Thank you.

ah sa wakas nakapunta na rin ako sa dfa. i submitted the documents for my replacement of lost but valid passport. wait ko nalang clearing period ko.

Hi mga sis, help naman po.

Bukas kasi ang schedule ng renewal ng passport ng pinsan ko, sa Ali Mall at 2:30 PM. pina rush na namin to, so sana 7 working days nga eh makuha na namin kaagad. Question lang, kelangan pa ba ng NSO Birth cert para sa renewal? yung passport nya eh mag eexpire this September, so 2009 nya siguro yun nakuha. And, kung 23 bukas, mga kelan nya kaya makukuha ang passport nya? Thanks!

pano kaya to kakakita ko lang sa passport ko expiry june 2014. this month eh last week of june na today..pwede pa ba ko makahabol??

^ walang kaso yan kasi wala namang "deadline" sa pagre-renew. Kaya lang naman ideally e maaga dapat mag-renew is because we're usually not allowed to travel within six months of our passport's expiry. Kung wala ka naman naka-sched na travel soon, then no problem. You can renew anytime.

ty sis...pano pala pag yun old passport(green) natanggal sa pagkaka stapeler dun sa brown(new) passport may problem ba YUn?..nakapagpasked na kasi then baka pag prinisent ko yun maquestion ako???

^ wala din kaso yun kasi old passports naman na.

eh yun NSO copy need ba within 6 months issue? meron kasi ako copy ng sakin NSO(yellow paper) kaso more than 6 months na kasi  nilagay ko yun sa folder just incase need emergency .eh ang kaso bakla questionin ako sa dfa baka hingan ako dated na within 6 months issue?...sa minor daughter ko na new applicant i have NSO copy sin yun yeelow paper pero hindi din within 6 months okey lang ba yun?? this sat na skedule namin.. thanks a lot
