try calling their hotline na lang sis. i highly suggest sa sm manila ka mag-apply. postal id is not acceptable afaik

pero you said 3 id hiningi sayo , pano yan kahit isang id wala pa ako    , yung hotline ata is for appointments lang

^sis kasi 3 yung id na dala ko that time kaya siguro yun yung kinuha nila. kasi binigay ko lahat ng photocopy na dala ko, yung 3 ids, tor, form 137, land title and sss microfilm. ayun binalik sakin yung iba, ids lang kinuha and nso.

Hi everyone,
Since the search button is down in the forum and this is the only dfa-ish thread I have seen then might as well ask here. Has anyone tried having their documents red ribbon authenticated in any dfa branches sa malls? I need feedbacks please and which mall?

Hi binasa ko kasi yung requirements problem is I only have a company id, ITR, baranggay clearance..and birth certificate

i have an E1 microfilm pero nung 2010 ko pa yung copy ko. pwede ba yun? i dont have sss id pa kasi ang tagal ibigay. help!!

^sis ok lang kung 2010 pa yung copy mo kasi di ba wala naman validity period na nakalagay dun sa micro copy

UPDATE lang. 

Went to DFA megamall last Saturday.

Requirements I have: (with photocopy)
PRC ID
NSO Birth Certificate
Cedula
Barangay Clearance

Appointment time is 2:30 pm but we preferred to arrive early para less hassle. So we got in to the office 2:10.  Manong guard checked our appointment copy and then we gave this copy to the representative in front for checking again and then gave back the appointment copy. After that you need to get a number sa isang machine dun, we choose "New Passprt" then went inside na. We were shocked cause there's a lot of people already. As in puno talaga at standing ovation ang peg ng iba.

PROCESSING:
You need for your number to be called. So since weekend, given na na madaming nagaapply. We waited for more than 1 and half hour. Kasi naman nung una 4-5 lang yung tao nila sa window.. Pero nung medyo puno na yung window bumilis na din.

Check nila requirements mo. You need to make sure na may photocopy ka ng lahat ng requirements mo para mabilis. Nung turn ko na, less than 2 mins tapos na agad. Kukunin nga pala ang Original NSO Birth Certificate mo.

PAYMENT:
And again since saturday, EXPRESS lahat ng process nila (7 days). I mean walang regular na 14 days, so 1,200 php yan. It took us 15 mins sa payment dahil may pila din that time.

ENCODING:
Wait ulit na tawagin ang number mo. It took us 45 mins before matawag. Icheck lang spelling ng name mo then picture taking din amd signature specimen.

COURIER:
If you chose your passport to be delivered this will be the last process for you. You need to pay 120 php. And a day after ng release ang pagdeliver nila.


More than 2 hours kami sa DFA. Carry lang!

Sis alexii - exactly 7 days mo ba nakuha un passport mo?

^ Nope sis. Saturday kami nag-apply then dumating siya sa house ng Tuesday na.

Okay lang ba irenew early ang passport? may 2 years pa valid yung sa daughter ko.

Gusto ko lang sana irenew na before ako apply ng visa ng anak ko for Canadian Visa, para ma maximize yung validity ng 5 years.

question, where do i get a certified true copy of passport? sa dfa din ba or puede kahit sa labat ipanotarized?

Mga sis ano yung Affidavit of Support and Consent? Ikukuha ko kasi yung 13 months old baby boy ko e. Importante ba yun? Sa mga Notary Public meron ba sila nun o ako pa talaga magcocompose/gagawa bago ko ipa-notarized? Sana meron na sila template nun, yung tipong info nalang namin ilalagay ko.

Online sis and yes may sat appointment sa mega.

What's with the new e-passport? Aalisin na nila ang mga maroon at green passport? Eh pano yung nga kakukuha lang? grrr!!

^Technically you still have until Nov 2015 to use the old passports (green and maroon) after that you have to apply for the e-passports already. But strictly speaking you can use these passports only until May 2015 since most countries require at least 6 months validity of your passport.

^^ and I think sis, yung mga newly-issued e maroon e-passports na. Last renewal ko was May 2010 and e-passport na ang meron ako.

pano yon, kaka renew lang namin ng kids ko passports namin last march, so ibig sabihin next year i have to renew it na?

^ sis, hindi ba maroon e-passport binigay sa inyo nung March? My in-laws renewed last July or August and maroon e-passports na din naman yung kanila.

nagrenew ako nung january, e-passport na rin. actually matagal na nagbibigay ng e-passport. color maroon din siya. yung signature nasa info page na and merong bar code sa dating lugar nung signature sa likod.
