@cherry*coke Sis, from my experience sa robinson's galleria they only asked for the photocopies ng first and last pages of my passport , i also photocopied my two id's pinagsama ko na sa isang page yun lang ang kinuha ng staff then attached it with my application form. Di na nirequire yung birth certificate.

mga sis help! pano ba ito? di ko maprint yun appointment confirmation e. "The document could not be printed" daw. anyone encountered the same problem?

^never kong na-encounter yan sis, kahit pa ilang beses ko na-iprint yung appointment slip. try mo i-print sa iba like computer shops.

Update: huhu ganun din ang error nun nitry ko paprint sa labas. haay pano kaya yun?

Hello sis! ask ko lang san po kayo gumawa ng appointment for DFA Aseana? Kasi wala sa website ng DFA, ang nandun megamall, sm manila at galleria lang. gusto ko sana magpa renew pero may trip ako next month kaya after nalang. Pero gusto ko mag set  ng appointment na sana.

^dun din sis, same page kung saan mo nakita yung link ng megamall, galleria at sm manila. pag binaba mo yung page makikita mo yung code. type mo lang yun tapos click mo yung button ng start individual process.

Anyone here who recently applied/renewed their passport in dfa megamall? How was it? Mabilis pa ba ang processing or waiting time? Someone at work told me na it took her 3hrs. New passport application siya kaya raw matagal. Ang mabilis daw sa renewal. So magkaibang section pa pala yun? Hubby and I will have our passports renewed while my 5mo old baby naman is new application.

Hmm Kung ganito pala do u suggest na unahin namin si baby then pila ulit kami ni hubby? Our appt is on Monday at 11:30am. Though priority ang 1yr old below, nagpa-appt na rin ako.

sis nag pa appointment na ako for may 17 kuhanan ko na rin daughter ko which is 2yo ano ano po ba requirements sa 2yo? secured na ang birth cert and marriage cert. bukod po dun ano pa kaya?

anyway paano ko rin ma sure if sm manila ang branch ng appointment ko? after ko mag fill up wala na ako nakitang sm manila. pero yung site naging manila.passport.com

nung kumuha kame for baby (8mos) sa galleria, ito mga kinuha:
birth certificate (nso orig), marriage certificate (photocopy lang, better dalhin mo na din nso orig). tapos photocopy ng first page ng passport namin ni hubby. photocopy ka na din ng valid ids mo just in case.

girls, for passport renewal ba kelangan pa ng NBI clearance. I have ID na unified and sempre old passport, magrerequire pa ba sila ng NBI/police clearance?

^no na sis. in my case, last Jan 2013, only the passport which they punched with a whole and photocopies of the 1st and last page were asked from me.

We were at dfa megamall for our family application. May appt ako but since kasama 5-mo old namin, priority lane kami. Ang booboo ko lang eh Hindi ako kumuha ng number under priority services agad, Hindi Ko napansin. 2 numbers pa kinuha Ko pang renewal and pang regular services lol.
Buti na lang may trainee, I approached her and he gave me a priority services stub.

Medyo matagal Lang sa encoding kasi either Hindi  makuhaan ng maayos photo ng babies, medyo mabagal na rin mag verify ang mga senior citizens ng docs.

All in all it was a good experience.

I accompanied my senior citizen mother-in-law last week for her passport renewal. We arrived at DFA Aseana around 7:30AM even though our appointment was for 9AM (akala kasi namin ma-traffic since it was a Wednesday, Baclaran day).

Anyway, we were told to enter through Gate 3 (reserved for senior citizens and minors). Then pina-akyat na kami sa 2nd floor where a staff checked my MIL's documents. The documents that we brought were the ff: expired passport, photocopies of pages 1-2 and last page of her expired passport, photocopy of her birth certificate (it wasn't even the NSO issued Birth Cert.) plus her appointment form.

After checking we were given a number for the counter where you submit the documents and pay the passport fee. After paying the cashier, we were given another number for picture taking/encoding naman. Dito na medyo kami nagtagal kasi isa lang yung encoder.

After the picture taking/encoding, we paid na the delivery service. That time taga-LBC lang yung present. Anyway, pare-pareho lang naman ang delivery fee. Then we were done! We were out of DFA before 9AM.

may difference ba sa physical appearance ng passport na iniissue sa filipino citizens at dual citizens? or may ibang info ba na nakalagay?

    * For minor applicants who never attended school, a Notarized Affidavit of Explanation executed by either parent (if minor is a legitimate child) / by mother (if minor is an illegitimate child) detailing the reasons why the child is not in school, is required

yung daughter ko kasi is 2 years old and 4 months do i need the notorized affidavit of explanation?
or for minor 8-17 years old lang sya applicable?

hindi pa kasi nag school ang baby ko.. sa may 17 na kasi yung appointment namin
