And oh, as for dark under eye circles, use a concealer if hindi kaya ng just liquid and powder foundation.

For dark lips, exfoliate.

Skin prob ko, I know (hope so haha) na malelessen ng makeup to

1. I have oily t zone.

Products planning to use:
Concealer- Shawill
Foundation- Two way cake foundation (milk)
*Application: Brush or sponge?

2. Dark circles
*Same products

3. Dark Lips
I use ChapStick, no improvements sa color. Natural look ba ang matte lipstick? I'm eyeing sa elf mate lipstick.

4. Blush
Looking for cheap natural looking and long lasting blush.

Nakapagsearch na ko sa google, threads, and youtube to familiarize with quality products :)

Sorry for the long post.

If you're oily, a face primer might help you. Idk lang about perspiration ha, revlon colorstay liquid foundie daw is scratch proof and waterproof pa nga ata.
For natural looking blush, a cheek tint or liquid blush (saw elf has an hd liquid blush) will give you more of your desired effect.

^^Thanks :D Yes, I am on a budget. Exfoliate lips? Will research about that :) Hindi ba natural itsura ng matte lipstick?

Skin care: Dati, gamit ko celeteque facial wash (without beads) and alcohol free toner, tapos switch sa BN e.w soap and e.w lotion

^Ohhhh.. Thanks sa products mentioned :) Will research pa for good, long lasting yet affordable  primer. Baka may marecommend ka hihi

I am after healthy glow makeup, or 'no makeup' make eup. Yung parang ang blooming and fresh mo lang the whole day. Kasi I look exhausted gawa ng (very&puffy) dark circles, oily nose, and dark lips.

There's the mineral infused primer of elf. You dont need a lot naman so that will last for a long time. Kahit sa oily parts mo lang apply. If you're very oily you can try milk of magnesia, parang yun ang ultimate last resort. :)

Dark lips - exfoliate sis using brown sugar if you have and olive oil. But most of the time i just use my lip balm then soak my lips for 10minutes or so then wipe it off with facial tissues. I also suggest don't smoke or quit smoking if you are.

If you are oily, try using water based moisturizer since most of the time dry talaga skin. kaya oily eh nagooversecrete ang oil glands whih makes our skin looked oily.

For foundation, you really need to invest sa long lasting one. I suggest Revlon Colorstay liquid foundi (Php500 online).

If retouching will not bother you, you could use Maybelline powder foundation (blue compact case). Use it with wet sponge. Make sure to always clean the sponge. You could retouch with a powder not foundation para di magcake.

In my case di effective ang primers. What I do to make my makeup long lasting: toner (alcohol free) > water based moisturizer > gel based sunblock > liquid foundation > mineral powder :)

With regards to milk of magnesia (maalox) be careful kasi some experienced severe drying of the skin leading to rashes etc

Happy to help!

yes tama si sis vaindoll, it is very very important to set your liquid foundation with an oil controlling fixing powder para di maging oily agad. tapos you can always blot with blotting sheets pag mukha ka ng oily para maging ala-bagong ligo/hilamos ulit. haha!

Hehe.

Another question, sorry beginner talaga ako sa makeup. Mas okay ba ang loose powder for oily skin?

I'm after this (parang flawless lang, and hindi halatang may make up)

May dark circles kasi and dark din yung eyelids ko, and nose (due to oily skin) as mentioned. basta dark yung sa tzone ko hehe. Matte lipstick ba yon? May masuggest kaya na brand na ganon, exactly, yung magiging itsura?

Thanks :)

^In my experience sis, mas mukhang natural ang liquid foundation. But the key for a more natural effect eh smooth skin talaga. Narealize ko lang to na if my skin is not acting up (no acne, dryness etc) mas maganda kapit ng foundation whether powder or liquid. Kasi yung foudation nagccling sa acne, dry patches etc.

Tama si sis iwannabe mas maganda magretouch first with blotting sheets then loose powder. Minsan nga kahit blotting sheets na fresh na ulit. :)

Tried shiseido sa counter nila, pinched my eyelids. Try majo, max factor, or fairydrops for mascara. ;)

ah madali lang naman to, foundie (or maybe in her case baka powder, mukha siyang makinis), liquid liner tapos lipstain. wala nga siya blush eh.

ang key diyan is to have a not oily skin, maybe you should really try nga yung revlon liquid foundation, okay oil controlling nun.

mike, looks like maganda na talaga ang skin ni girlet beforehand.  powder foundation yes you can use but you still have to de-powder para natural ang finish (by using mac fix spray, evian, or cinema secrets moisture spray).   pwede rin with liquid foundation na matte ang finish.  for covering dark areas, of course concealer ang katapat niyan.

i think skip mo na ang highlighter since wala namang binronzer or cinontour. ang blush niya is very sheer.

light stroke eyeliner, well groomed eyebrows, then natural/nude lip color.

for those who wants their make up to stay from morning til evening.  Try using Ahava day moisturizer.  I was given a sample and napansin ko hindi humuhulas ang make up ko.  After finishing the sample, I bought the regular size bottle na not really expensive din naman wala pa yatang 1.5k may moisturizer ka na may BB cream ka pa.

Thanks VainDoll, iwannabeasupermodel, and qt_ben17 :)

Planning to use essence liquid foundation. May napunuod kasi ako sa youtube, 4U2 liquid foundation gamit niya, tapos kinalat niya by using brush.

Sorry madaming tanong :)

iwannabeasupermodel
Kaya I'm looking for lightweight foundation hehe. I hope essence is good :)

VainDoll
Oily skin ka din? Ano ginagamit mo para maspread evenly yung liquid foundation? :)

qt_ben17
Do I still have to use finishing spray kahit liquid foundation yung gagamitin ko?

Yikes. Sorry for another looong post

^ fyi some sunblocks (spf), esp the titanium dioxide based ones can make your foundation look lighter. they apply white as far as i know, and leave white cast in flash photos.

some liquid foundations are self-setting (check for the ingredient methylacrylate or acrylate), meaning they dont need powders to be set. if yours dont list one, you definitely need to lightly set it with loose powder.  for me, brush is the best tool, mas uniform at mas polished tingnan.

Ako din, I used a powder brush to set either the liquid foundie or BB cream. Mas na-eeven out ko kasi when I used a brush saka mas feel ko na magaling ako mag-make-up kahit hindi naman . Hahaha!

Question pala: How do you apply your bronzer and highlighter? Iba yung pang-apply nung products sa pang-blend, right? What's the best brush to blend? Angled/contour brush ba? TIA!  :-*

I have my options na pala for bronzer. What can you recommend as highlighter naman? Thanks uli! :)

Its me again, (with another question) sorry :(

Liquid foundation vs BB cream

Ano ang mas natural yung finish, bb cream or liquid foundation? Hindi ko alam pinagkaiba eh, sorry. Ano yung less na mukhang powder? Ayoko kasi talaga yung mukhang may powder sa mukha. I seriously need a makeover, sino willing? Loljk then research nalang ako for good products na nasa budget ko to use. Ty! :)

Technically, BB creams pero there are foundations that give natural finish, depende sa formulation. Meron foundies that look more natural and like second skin than BB creams. If your liquid or powder foundation eh hindi ganun ang effect, you can spritz some water or like those of Evian or Avene. You can do that too kung ayaw mong mukhang may powder yung mukha mo though I have experienced na for those with oily skin, pag nag-blend na yung oil sa foundie, mas nagiging natural.

^^ Generally mas natural ang BB creams, kase lighter ang coverage. They're like tinted moisturizers but slightly better coverage. Multi-purpose rin most have spf, some have skin benefits like they minimize imperfections or brighten skin over time. You can also use it as a primer for your foundie. :)

Eto gamit ko when I go out, like everyday. Foundations ko naman for special occasions. :)
