Hi sis chimponzi, ob ko kc pinapa prepare ako ng 14to18k daw yung hsg. Bakit yung mga nababasa ko dito mura lang sakanila. Nga pala wala akong health card kaya siguro mahal
Sis try mo kay dra. Jing fernandez infertility expert sya baka sakanya ka mahiyang, natry nyo na ba iui sis?

14k, infertility expert ang ob -sonologist ko at may maxicare ako unfortunately hindi covered ng maxicare
ang hsg ko :-(

For the meantime, I am trying to lose weight baka sakaling ma-preggy ako pag pumayat ako...

yes sis bubbles1823 wala pa rin, last january I was 6-week pregnant pero ectopic kaya tinanggal din.
Kaya ngayon TTC kami uli.

Sobrang mahal pala ng fertility work up sa atin no?  Kung andyan siguro ako I can't afford prolonged RE care. 
I had HSG last month, free, it's not so bad, tolerable, sobrang lamig lang talaga nong pinapasok na di ko alam ano yun.  Wala din akong cramps or bleeding after. Medyo matagal pa yung procedure ko kasi the dye won't go through dahil may uterus is so tipped, so di rin na check ang tubes ko.

@janet28-  That's why I need laparoscopy for diagnostic and to get na rin the cyst found in my ovary to rule it out as a problem.  Baka may underlying problem ako that can only be seen through lap, It could be endo or block tube/s.

Oo sis, sa wakas may nahanap na akong hilot dito na pumayag magpahilot ako.  Yung iba kasi natatakot maghilot kasi wala silang license alam mo na dito mahilig mag sue ang mga tao.
Basta ako I will just think its safe, wala pa naman ako nabalitaan na napasama dahil sa hilot.  And my mom is believer of it kaya try ko na rin.  After my HSG, kinukulit nya ako na wag na mag pa lap hilot lang daw talaga.

Delayed na ako 2 days pero I don't want to test baka ma disappoint lang ako, I don't feel anything different naman.

Wantstobeamom- oo sis marami nabubuntis after magpahilot. Kaya walang masama kung itatry. Sana sis di na dumating af mo at bfp ka na.

@janet28 -  Sabi nila pag nagpa HSG daw medyo nagkakaroon ng chance na mabuntis kasi "nalinis" yung clogs.  E for me di naman siguro yun applicable kasi di natpos yung procedure because of my uterus.
Sana sana di na dumating AF!! I will be very happy. 
Five years na kaming kasal ni hubby sa January.  Though last year lang talaga gusto namin magbaby, natural lang naman yung prevention namin.  All the while I thought it was working yun pala may repro problems ako. 
Ikaw sis if you don't mind ano case mo?  and how many years TTC?  May thread ba for this general discussions? Baka OT na tayo.

nagpa-hsg ako 5yrs ago sa davao doctors, P4,500... pina-take ako ng buscopan 1hr before the procedure, yung procedure itself tolerable sya though may kirot talaga pero after 15mins from the procedure grabe nagsusuka ako at nagka-cramps na para akong nag-labor... di ko maintindihan na para akong napu-pupu basta ang sakit, umabot mahigit isang oras yung pain, gusto na nga ako ipa-admit ng husband ko nun kasi nataranta na sya kasi suka ako ng suka... sabi ng doctor ganun daw talaga ang effect sa iba.. may mga kasabayan akong nagpa-hsg, ako ang nauna pero nauna pa silang umuwi sakin,  mga 3 hours bago ako nakatayo...

result ng hsg ko, adhesions sa right fallopian tube at hindi normal ang mga egg cells ko, inverted din uterus ko... naka-clomid ako pero di pa rin ako nabuntis... haist naku oo magastos ang ttc.... try namin ulit next year... pero ang pinakamasakit dun ay yung frustration at depression paghindi maka-buo... yung tipong madelayed kalang ng isang araw, pt kaagad then pag-negative result iiyak...

@cap78 - Alam ko feeling na yan.  Ilang years na kayo TTC sis?  Dati lagi ako naiiyak kasi naging POAS addict ako test ng test.  Ngayon di na ako nagtetest inaantay ko nalang, siguro kung maging 2-3 weeks delayed I would test na.
Regarding HSG, kahit medyo masakit yung procedur ko kasi two times pinilit ng doctor na ipasok yung dye, buti naman wala akong cramps after yung nga fear ko dati kasi mababa pain tolerance ko dahil wala akong dysmenorrhea.

ask ko lang pang ilan cd ginawa ang hsg nyo? cd6 kopa lang at kinakabahan na ako dyan sa hsg na yan mababa rin tolerance ko sa pain. Dysmenorrhea nga umiinom pako ng pain reliver.

Hi mga sisters.. I had HSG done last November. P4,000 lang sa clinic ni OB ko. Been trying kase since my miscarriage last March, then yung bago kong OB-Sono, ni HSG nya ako, 1 hour prior ininject nya ako ng buscopan yata yun. The procedure itself only took 15 minutes, grabe sakit sa akin, parang pagnagsisimula ka maglabor. Patent naman both tubes ko. Pero medyo may delay daw sa left tube ko. Pero buti nalang lumusot den yung dye. I believe that the HSG helped me get my BFP kase hindi na ako nagkaroon after the procedure.

By the way, nag research ako after nun. Then found out that castor oil helps unblock tubes naturally. Some swear by it eh.

^^^ Sis Wantstobeamom, nabibili sya sa Mercury or sa online stores. Based sa research ko dati, sya yung oil na may capability sumuot sa skin natin kaya effective. Ang procedure na mga nabasa ko at ni try ko is yung fertility massage. First, i massage mo sa may puson with oil, dapat you do it after ng AF until ovulation. Then gagamit ka ng kahit anong malambot na tela then lagyan mo ng oil, tapos ipapatong mo sa puson mo yung tela, then tatakpan mo ng plastic, tapos sa pinakataas lalagyan ng heating pad or kahit bottle na may hot water, you have to do it for 30 minutes every day.

Yung mga forum na napuntahan ko dati, blocked tubes sila but after doing this, some of them unblocked their tubes and got pregnant. There's no harm in trying

Hello everyone. Had my HSG done at 1pm today sa MCU hospital. I paid 15k. Mas mahal sya compared sa HSSG ko kay Dr. Manalo na 7k lang last 2010 pa ata yun. Thank God patent pa rin both tubes ko. The difference between HSG and HSSG is that Saline is use in HSSG and Dye is use in HSG. Ang dye tinutunaw nya ang clot inside fallopian tube while saline does not. So ang dye nakakalinis ng tubes while saline hindi. HSG uses xray while HSSG ultrasound naman. According to my OB mas maganda gawin ang HSG. Mas nakakatulong daw ito.

Di kasi na check ang tubes ko when I had HSG kasi my uterus is so tipped so, d'on palang ayaw ng pumasok ng dye kahit anong gawin ng doctor kaya he recommends hysteroscopy to check my uterus and tubes.
