hi sisses, new here. had my hsg several weeks ago. with local anesthesia kaya i felt no pain. spent around P9000+antibiotics. both tubes patent (thank God!)

sis kay saan ka po nagpa hsg? mababa kasi tolerance ko kaya gusto ko sana may anesthesia. Please help po....thanks in advance

Had my HSG done August last year at CGH for 13k. Tolerable naman ang pain, hindi nga lang ako kaagad nakatayo after, dahil siguro sa nerybyos ko.

^good luck sis stlukes qc ka ba hsg? Sino mag-hsg sayo?
I had mine in stlukes-qc very fast, absolutely no pain.
I was told by dra jing breakfast last meal ko at 7am i also took mefenamic tab for good measure.
Ok and all clear no bara ang tubes ko sis even my uterus kaya sana ibigay na ni Lord uli ang baby.
After hsg drink lots lots of water para maeliminate ang contrast nedia and you will not feel very dizzy and nauseaous.

I had my HSG done at Cardinal Santos last Dec..magaan ang kamay ni Doc Angela Aguilar kaya di masyado masakit..siguro mga 15 minutes lang at natapos na rin agad..di ko na rin need ang alalay kasi napatalon pa nga ko sa tuwa ng malaman kong ok ang result (OA lang..hahahaha)..kasi nag HSG na rin ako before sa ibang OB but sad to say walang result..sayang lang ang gastos ko..by the way, 10K ang bayad ko..ok lang at least im happy with the result..

If i am going to have my period this April next step na namin HSG with Doc Angela Aguilar.. Ngayon palang naiisip ko natatakot na ako at kinakabahan. Always praying na sana may mabuo na para hindi na ako mag undergo ng HSG. Mababa na ang pain tolerance ko ngayon after undergoing 2 minor surgery due to breast mass, takot na ako sa mga hospital procedure, but need to have a lot of courage para magka baby.

 :)Hi mga sisses my idea ba kayo mag kano ang HSG kay dra jing sa sainluke global? pareho lang ba ang HSSG sa HSG?kasi diba mas mura ang HSSG? gusto ko kasi mag pa HSSG kaya lang worried ako baka sabhin negative sakin parang hindi k kaya

Hi mga sissies TTC din kami and kahapon nagpunta na kami kay Dra. Susana Lao sa CGH sya dito ko lang din sa forum nakuha name nya infertility din handle nya na cases.

Cd 8 ko kahapon so wait kami ng next cycle ko need daw ako mag HSG para makapag start kami ng work up.  Pinaprepare kami g 7,500 babalik ako sa kanya on cd2 or cd3.  3 days lang kasi af ko.

Hello mga sis, been reading posts about Hysterogram, I just want to share my own experience. I had my Hysterogram last June 7, 2014 at Manila Doctors, my OB is Dra, Sua Lao.Before  I had may hysterogram, I called at her clinic in Binondo. yung secretary nakausap ko at nagbigay sakin ng instruction. The secretary told me to get jot down what dra. sua-lao told her. 1. On day5 (period) 2 days before the procedure start taking doxycycline 100mg 2x a day (am/pm after meal) for 5 days, 2. Buscopan 2tabs on the day of hysterogram, 3. planax 40 2x a day (am/pm after meal) for 3days starting on the day of hysterogram. 2days before the hysterogram, I called my friend who also undergone Hysterogram with Dr. Sua-Lao. I asked her kung ano pinagawa at pinainom sa kanya before the procedure. She told me the same medicine and the same sched ng pag-inom pero sya ay pinagfasting. So I asked her to call to Dra. Sua-Lao if need magfasting before the procedure. (ex. june 7 actual hysterogram ko, so morning of June 7 dina ako kakain o inom ng tubig kasi 9am sched ko.) again yung secretary nakausap ng friend ko no need daw ng fasting kasi iinom daw ako ng gamot. In short di ako nagfasting although confused ako kasi magkaiba ang procedure, I checked also the procedure of my previous OB si Dra. Rena Kristina Koa- Malaya,may fasting din. (di lang natuloy Hystero ko kay Dra. Koa kasi nagstop nako pacheck up sa kanya, almost 3years ako nagpacheck up sa knya pero I dont get pregnant so I decided to try other OB yun na nga si Dra. Sua-Lao). Anyone here who had undergone hysterogram? Sadya ba iba-iba ang procedure? others had fasting others are not like in my case.Grabe masakit sya ha as in masakit pa sa dysmenorhea but after the procedure ok na ulet. But Thank God, ok ang result hindi barado both tubes ko. I paid 13k exclusive mga meds na namention ko.After 3mos balik daw ako sabi ni Dra. icomplete daw muna namin ni hubby ang mga iniinom namin na gamot. Metformin sakin for pcos. Ussana,clomid and glutathione ang kay hubby for sperm motility and count. Good Luck and God Bless Us. I hope & pray we all get pregnant soonest.

Sched ako mag  HSSG next week. Sa PGH daw sabi ng Ob/Re aabot 5k pero meron sya rerefer na clinic nun same Doctor na gumagawa sa PGH worth 2.5k [textspeak!] daw. OB ko po Dra. Kathy Lipana sa PGH-FMAB meron din sya sa Asian Hospital.

hello mga sis who have been with and currently with  Dra. Leny Casanova, meron ba syang sariling Ultrasound machine in her clinic in Asian? How much consultation fee sa kanya? Im planning to change my OB now which is Dra. Sua-Lao (Binondo clinic) kasi masyado malayo sa amin ang Binondo since Im from South area. TIA

Had my HSSG sa may PGH last June 18. BFP na po ako as per testing Yesterday and This morning. Went to OB today. sched for TV- Ultrasound 2 weeks from now to check baby's heart rate. (finger's crossed)

Hi. I just want to share my hysterosalpingogram experience. Prior to the procedure, I had to take Fertyl for days 2-6. Then on day 5, my ob started me on antibiotics which needs to be taken twice a day for 7 days to avoid any infection. Also, my ob asked me to take 1 arcoxia and 1 buscopan 1 hour before my procedure. The process was quick but a little uncomfortable. The pain upon the push of the dye is similar to a major dysmenorrhea which lasted for maybe 15-30 seconds. My ob was very gentle and calm. She's Dr. Rhoda De Lara-Alcantara. she has clinics at Festival Mall and ATC. I had the procedure done at Las Pinas Doctors Hospital and it cost us 9,000 all in.

I'm happy to share my positive results:

Hysterosalpingography shows normal filling of the uterus, with the latter deflected towards the right side. There is prompt egress of the dye into both fallopian tubes with normal caliber.
Extravasation into the pelvic cavity also seen.

Impression:
NORMAL HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAPHY

I have PCOS too so perfect timing is all we could hope for. Good luck!

Hi girls I'm new here and I came across this forum kc nagreresearch ako about hysterosalpingogram. I also notice na matagal na yung last post here but still I'm trying my luck na may magreply sa akin, please... I'm currently located in Batangas, and I have PCOS, since highschool (Im 34 years old & my husband is an ofw) I'm trying from one OB to another since highschool, then before I got married last June 2013 I decided to stay with one OB, since November 2012 until October 2014 sa knya ako nagpapatingin, then nagresearch ako and just last December 2014 lumipat ako sa fertility specialist, dun q lang sa knya ko lang naencounter yung hsyterosalpingogram, my big question is, she gave me a package deal worth 35K, sa nakita q sa mga post nyo, sobrang mahal nung hinihingi nya sa akin right? sabi nya general anesthesia daw and I need to be admitted the night before the procedure. Do you have an idea magkano na cost ng hysterosalpingogram sa St. Lukes as of Dec 2014 or Jan 2015? ska meron ba kau marerefer na OB (sna nearby Batangas or if not khit Manila, willing ako to go there naman) na hindi ako tatagain sa presyo, I'm currently unemployed now and hindi rin kalakihan kita ng husband q sa saudi. I really wish someone here could help me. Thank you in advance
