^ i agree. it is important in a sense that you need money to afford even the most basic stuff like food and shelter. how much money you have will definitely affect your quality of life. it gives you access to better education, health care, travel, different services and certain luxuries that makes life enjoyable. but as what everyone is saying, if you think money is as important as selling your soul to the devil, then, no.

i am a worried lagi about my future afraid to be broke that's why i work hard... pero swerte narin tayo dito sa pinas, kase mura ang bilihin unlike sa ibang bansa, no wonder andaming foreigner dito, isipin mo sa pinas makakarent ka ng bahay for only 2,500 o mas cheap pa... kung hahanap ka.. upto 5,000 pero sa ibang bansa hindi biro.. o db. masarap mabuhay sa pinas kung nakakaangat ka...

kaya nga we work hard kase masarap naman talaga gastusin ang perang galing sa malinis na paraan. ikanga "easy come, easy go"

SUPER DUPER important... you need money to do basically anything these days...  I don't think it's bad to value money... it's too much love for money that is bad. And yes, I agree with tsokolat... I wouldn't trade my soul for money din... but it is important.

It's a necessity but I'm not obsessed about it. it's hard to live a "good" life if you're worrying about where your next meal will come from, right? The hardest part of money issues with me is akala nila porke abroad,pinipitas sa kalsada ang pera I want to live comfortably-as in, own my house, be able to pay bills on time, have adequate funds for kids to go to school and take vacations every now and then AND still have savings in the bank  Hindi naman sobra siguro yun to ask for. I'm not willing to lower my morals or do anything illegal to make a quick buck kasi may kadikit na malas if you make money that way...at least yan turo sa kin ng nanay ko.

sobrang important ng pera sa akin ngayon. we have a 10-month old baby who consumes 4-5 boxes of infant formula per month, which retails at 1,300/box. so dun pa lang, patay na. we want to give our son the good life that he deserves. we also have housing loans to pay, utang sa credit card, etc. we also want to give our parents their well-deserved retirement pag dumating na yung time. pati yun pinag-iipunan rin namin. honestly, im super scared of being broke. actually, it's kinda happening na. si hubby lang kasi ang nag-wowork. hay, so who says na you don't need money to be happy? pag hindi mo maibili ng gatas ang anak mo, o maipagamot ang parents mo, you'll be sad at walang peace of mind. pero syempre katulad nyo, i won't sell naman my soul to the devil kapalit ng pera no. buo pa rin ang paniniwala ko sa Diyos na He will provide.

sa panahon ngaun, mahirap ng walang pera sa ngayon .. pag nagkasakit .. mahirap na din kumita ng pera though yung ibang tao wala ng mapaglagyan ng pera, kaya puro gadgets at kung [textspeak!]-ano. pero be practical di ka mabubuhay ngayon ng walang pera.

naku! ang pera sa ngayon sobrang importante kung hindi gutom na gutom na ako niyan, hindi ko kaya swear and sorry Lord for saying this. Pag walang pera, una talagang hinahanap ng tao is yung pambili ng mga basic needs, yun description ko ng Pera Lolz!
