Mga sisses, question. I'm a medrep kasi and back to work na ko on Monday. If I pump sa car and meron ako dalang cooler with ice, ok lang ba yun? Considered as parang naka-ref na ba yun? Kasi I go out mga 10 am, then nakakauwi ako mga 9 pm na. Tapos how long pa ulit yun bago pwede maconsume ni baby? Thanks a lot!

I used a bunch of those things to transport my frozen BM to manila when I used to pump and my milk stays frozen even after 6hrs.

Sa mga nag bottle feed ask ko lang po. Bukas kasi lalabas ako for the 1st time w/o baby. Direct feed kasi kami pero bukas mag iiwan ako ng expressed milk for baby. Tinanong ako ni yaya if she should feed baby every 2hrs. Kasi paflg direct kami basta gusto ni baby i feed her. Should i tell yaya to go ahead & feed every 2hrs or ask her to wait for hunger cues. Kaso baka d naman marunong mag recognize si yaya ng hunger cues medyo jurassic kasi ang yaya ko. :p

yes tell yaya to give bottle every 2hours if that's her feeding pattern

totoo din ba na yung right daw is milk and yung left is water??
na-cs kasi ako, im on my 10th day na ebf kami ni baby.. nakakaloka kasi naglleak ako most of the time, pag nagmmilk si baby sa right, tumutulo yung sa left, sayang..
maaga pa masyado magpump diba? kaso nanghihinayang ako dun sa tumutulo..

^^agree with iristacey regarding the milk and water thing. also, i don't think it's true na kapag cs mahina ang milk. emergency cs ako and till now i'm still breastfeeding. my daughter is turning 3 na on the 27. she never liked formula milk.

ngayon ko lang nalaman yung myth about milk and water.. 
pero madalas pag puno na yung breast ko may natulo ring milk na parang tubig... sabi ng MIL ko wala daw nutrients yun.. how true?

Tama nga na yung paginom ko ng milk in the morning ang cause ng pagsusuka ng baby ko..
Buti na lang i stopped drinking milk na..

Mga sis, I need your opinion. Pina bottle feed ko si baby kay yaya. I use the pigeon bottle tapos pinalitan ko yung nipples ng dr browns na preemie nipple para d malakas ang flow. Si baby nag suck naman nung simula tapos bigla nag stop & nag iiyak. So tinigil muna ni yaya padede. Then continue. Pero umiiyak sya everytime. So yung 1.5oz hay ang tagal bago naubos. Nung naubos na parang d sya masaya. So pinadede ko na lang ulit sa akin.
Questions: ayaw nya kaya sa nipple? D nya type that i should change? Bkt kaya umiiyak sya e gutom na sya nung time na yun (feeding time na nya). Naaamoy kaya nya ako kaya ayaw nya mag bottle feed?
I need to know kasi na kaya nya mag bottle para if i go out d sya magugutom. Nalulungkot na namor-mroblema tuloy ako

Anung pigeon bottle and nips ang gamit mo sis?
I think pigeon newborn flow nipples works fine.
My son is a preemie. Gustong gusto nya ang pigeon and hindi siya nachochoke.  I use pigeon wide neck with peristaltic nipple.

sis seren - CS ako pero ok pa naman ang milk supply ko. pag nag leak, catch mo na lang ng bottle

^^sis new_iza, yan ba yung standard nipple na nakalagay sa mismong pigeon bottle? Di ka na nagpalit? I actually bougjt the pigeon yung standard bottle with peristaltic nipple. Pero d ko ginamit yung nipple i changed it with the dr brown preemie nipple. Kasi when i compared the two mas mabilis ang tulo nung sa pigeon. Pero sige try ko gamitin yung original na nakakabit since preemie din si baby ko. Cross my fingers sana it would work

Ah.. wide neck ang sa yo. Yung akin yung standard lang. Sinabi ko na kay yaya na bukas gamitin yung nipple ng pigeon. Tska mag try na mag bottle once or twice a day. Sa ngayon kasi stay at home pa ako pero gusto ko ng i-practice si baby kasi 8wks na sya. Sana maging successful

sis zoe, my baby also like pigeon wide neck peristaltic nipple. haven't tried peristaltic plus yet. it's the nipple he liked most. even liked it better than the medela calma. slow flow pa rin kame kahit 7months na si baby.

baka naninibago sa bottle yan. try to experiment with different bottles. sakin naman what worked is born free. yung avent from time to time before struggle kami, firm kasi teats ng avent. yung born free kasi malambot talaga.

Breastfeeding mothers must avoid giving the bottle to their baby. It must a different person because the baby will get confused why your not nursing him/her.
Foremilk is the first milk in a breastfeeding session. Its actually rich in Carbohydrates, protein and vitamins and important for Energy and brain development. Hindmilk Is calorie loaded and higher in fat and comes in later during a feeding.
Do not allow baby to comfort feed because it will cause a hind milk/ foremilk imbalance.

^but comfort nursing is so normal for babies and I haven't read anything yet about discouraging babies to comfort feed

Mga sis, mas better ba if wideneck compared sa regular bottles lang? Maybe i can buy 1pc and try it muna..

^try to buy 1 bottle first to see if ok si baby doon. And make sure to opt for the slowest nipple flow only to avoid nipple confusion
