^I got the services of zeny feliciano. Marose recommended her. Other names I see on this board is Abbie yabot and lita nery.

Two years ago, I think I paid around 6.5k for 3 sessions. This also includes a lactation massage

we're going 3 months of exclusive breastfeeding na. i just got back to work last monday and i'm happy that the set up works for us very well. i pump sa office for her milk the next day. so far, enough naman yung supply for her, sa gabi direct feeding an sya sa kin. 10-12oz lang napupump ko while at work, and i hope mag-increase pa ang supply ko in the coming months.

anyhow, before i got back to work, naging problem pa namin ang nipple confusion since we already got avent bottles, e matigas yung teats. i'm so lucky that i found kinder care nipples. Php44.00 lang per pc sa robinsons supermarket. it's bpa free and it fits her avent bottles. i'm more determined than ever to continue with this new endeavore of breastfeeding/pumping kahit i'm working outside of the house. we can do this!

@hunnyally, congrats! ang galing naman ng ginawa mo :) btw, i heard na yung brest daw will be able to produce milk specifically for your baby's needs. Sabi pag daw pang toddler yung iinom, pang toddler din daw yung gatas na lalabs, tapos sa newborn, pang newborn din. Totoo ba yn? as in magkaiba ng quality ang milk na lumalabas sa both breasts mo?

^ yan din sinabi ng OB ko sa kin when she learned na noong simula i asked for BM from my cousin's wife. ang kid nila noon was 7mos yata? i wonder if there is any truth to that.

but nevertheless, bm is still the best milk we can provide our kids. and by "virtue" it is fit for our kids.

Sis iristacey, sis grayce, sis new_iza, nagpabili ako ng pigeon wide neck bottle kahapon & got the one with the peristaltic plus na nipples. Yehey! Ininom ni baby kanina. Konting kontra lang :P bukas papa-try ko ulit kay yaya. Siguro gagawin ko once a day everyday papa bottle ko si baby para ma-train na sya. Tingin nyo enough na yun para masanay sya?
Naisip ko as of today 2mos na kami nag ebf ni baby. Ang bilis na panahon :)

^congrats sis. buti ka nga as early as now nakita mo agad na okay yan. ako bago ko lang nabili. 6months+ na si baby nung binili ko yun and out of curiosity lang talaga kasi nabasa ko sa feeding bottles thread na maraming raves about it for bf moms. ayun, swak. okay nga.

^sis grayce after mag 1 year ng baby mo ilang beses sa ilang araw ka mag bf?
no definite schedule. depends on my little boss ;D but SOP na if he's going to take his nap or matutulog na at night, or if nagising bigla at night or bagong giving, automatic hila agad ng damit ko yan.

^^congrats! yes ok na yung once a day para masanay naman sa bottle aside from direct feeding.

^^^^yes that's true :)

congrats sis ally! nanganak ka na pala :)

i still direct feed but often times i give na formula, humina kasi flow ko, i use manual pump, is it too late to use electric pump? baka mas magproduce ng milk. meron parin naman lumalabas pero mahina..

^As much as possible direct feed mo baby mo sis para ma-stimulate milk production mo. As you have said you give formula na more often than direct feeding kaya humina milk mo.

"The amount of milk that you can pump is not an accurate measure of your milk supply. A baby with a healthy suck milks your breast much more efficiently than any pump. Also, pumping is an acquired skill (different than nursing), and can be very dependent on the type of pump. Some women who have abundant milk supplies are unable to get any milk when they pump. In addition, it is very common and normal for pumping output to decrease over time."

^^kaya pa yan :) try mo mag electric pump and also do more direct feeding to stimulate your milk production and also avoid giving formula if kaya. supplementing with formula will really compromise your supply

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but I just want to ask you breastfeeding moms about my concern.

I just gave birth to my 3rd baby last July 20 and sa kanya lang ako tumagal na nag-breastfeed. Although nag-mixed feeding kami after the first month, kapag lang naman umaalis ako and hindi enough yung na-pump ko. I don't have my period until now so I don't know if I have already ovulated. I read somewhere that you can still ovulate while BFing. Hubby and I had contact September 20ish, ang worry ko ngayon possible kaya ko ma-pregnant? ayaw ko na sana since nakaka-3 na kami and maliliit talaga pagitan nila. natatakot lang ako mag-PT.

Share your insights naman please. Mods, sorry if OT

will contraceptive pills decrease my milk supply? dumating na kasi ang period ko, though breastfeeding kami ni baby, but i have to be safe.. yung neresata namang pills ng OB ko is ok for breastfeeding kaya lang baka humina ang milk supply ko.
