My husband and I is thinking of going to Qatar. How is the environment? Ever since the Saudi and Co break-up, medyo alanganin na kami to come. Anyway, it's just a plan. But how is it there na? Wala bang nagbago - no inflation? They say expensive daw ang Qatar - how is it true? Thanks!

Hi, wala naman so far pagbabago sa lifestyle namin, but yes it is quite expensive here lalo ngayon after the dispute, mas nagmahal mga bilihin.

^Localization meaning prioritizing their citizens? Almost the whole middle east is doing this na pala. So do you think is not advisable to go to Qatar? Sayang naman. We'd like to try it pa naman.

Yes, prioritizing their Citizens. Of course case to case basis pa din naman, kung meron na kayong connections and offer na anticipated, ibang kaso yun. Pero in general, I can say it is not the best time. I am assisting our HR dept. in recruiting Pinoy Storekeeper and Purchaser, halos 50 CV a day natatangap ko, maski sobrang baba ng offer willing na sila tanggapin, yung iba kakadating lang, peor most of them nawalan ng work, natanggal, nagresign etc.

Scar nalang yun. Nagpunta sya sa Qatar and then sa US. Probably nawala since nag gamot.

Hi Sis, it varies. Kung governement or magaganda at malalaking Companies around 8,000-15,000 QAR lalo na oil and gas. Pero karamihan ng private sectors LALO na ngayon, sobra baba na mag offer, nagrange nalang sa 3,000 - 5,000 ALL IN, swerte na kung free transportation.

Hi sisses! Those with family in Doha, saan nag aaral mga kids niyo? Would you recommend a good school na hindi masyado expensive ang tuition fee?
