Thanks for this, Hubby and I (both in the field of engineering) are contemplating to transfer to another country (Qatar is my top choice), where di mahirap magdala ng family. Pahigpit na kasi ng pahigpit sa Singapore

Nakuha na ng husband ko RP nya, sabi nya paattest ko marriage cert namin sa qatar embassy dito para maapply na nya visit visa namin ni baby. Tama ba na kelangan muna pa-red ribbon muna yung marriage cert sa dfa bago ipaattest sa qatar embassy? May iba pa ba ko kelangan ipa-red ribbon & attest para isang puntahan na lang? Plano namin visit visa muna then extend extend lang hanggang maka-6mos si husband & maapply na nya kami ng RP

also..marami din ba nabibilhan ng baby stuff na mura sa qatar? Or mas recommended ba maghoard na ko ng baby clothes galing pinas?

Hi! Newbie here. I am currently staying in Dubai for 7 years now with PA and Admin background in an oil and gas company and will be getting married next year kaso yung fiance ko eh nagkaroon ng offer sa qatar to setup a workshop. For the meantime, 2 weeks siya sa qatar then weekend dito or I will be the one to go there since may gcc visa naman ako that I can get a visa uponarrival till maikasal kami then husband visa na niya ako after. I will be sacrificing my job here to be with him and to be honest, di ako sanay hindiwork. Wait niya ang finalsay ko kung accept niya yjng job or hindi so feeling ko ako na pepressure, sa mga residence na sa qatar and long timd staying, ask ko lang po sana paano way of living dyan? How much yung accommodation for a 2 bedroom flat or villa sa expat community area? Madali baako makakahanap ng work? Hindi akomarunong mag arabic since mga boss ko are mostly english. Dito sa dubai, di ka maiinip kasi kabila't kanan ang malls and bars kahit restaurants and meron filipino community. Maraming shops dito. Mura lang ang baby items - baka dito ka maghoard

Ang way of living dito ay pareho lang ng way of living dyan, difference lang mas malaki ang sahod dito hihi Dun sa bagong lilipatan namin na part of a villa, 2 bedroom + kitchen + living room + 1 bathroom ay 5,000+ Riyals. Dun sa aalisan namin na 3 bedroom + kitchen + living room + 2 1/2 bathrooms ay 8,000+ Riyals.

What do you mean by "expat community"? Wala yatang ganun dito kasi halos lahat ay expats haha!

Hindi ako marunong mag arabic since mga boss ko are mostly english.

Isa lang yata ang bar dito. Strict dito pagdating sa alak. It shouldn't matter anyway, we are here to work and not to party hehe

Kasi si hubby sa ezdan ngayon nakatira kaya lang parang hotel room lang. Naghahanap sya ng unit na may kitchen sabi nasa php120,000 daw kung converted. Feeling ko baka di [textspeak!] nya alam san maghanap ng mas mura na ok.

Also, may alam ba kayong travel agency dito sa pinas that provides visa stamping assistance? Sa qatar embassy kasi parang kelangan mo pumunta ng mga 5am para makapasok ka before cutoff. Di ko ata kaya yun.

Thanks mameejhy! That was really helpful. My H2B is an English guy and stress reliever talaga nila yung bar especially pag may football game though he is really not a drinker. Though he doesn't want me to work, still sayang naman yung naumpisahan ko and mabobored lang ako kaya I told him that incase maglipat dyan, I still need to work... dito nga di niya ako mapigilan eh hehe. Ganun naman talaga tayo diba... may pagka sutil minsan hehe!

Ask ko lang din kung meron po ba dyan Filipino Association/ community that facilitates trainings, seminars, events and classes? Thanks.

sis yan ang pinaka wag mong gagawin ang mag convert! hehe.. 6-7k qr monthly makakapag rent ka ng flat/apartment with 2 bedrooms, depende yan sa location. marami rin dito ang sharing, yung pinsan ko na bachelor naka rent sya ng 2.5k, isang medyo malaking bedroom na may sariling cr. nakikisharing na lang sya ng kitchen.

hi mga sis. Im newbie here, pero nabasa ko na lahat ng post about qatar. Ask ko lang gano ba talaga katagal mag issue ng visa ang moi qatar. Kasi sabi sa universal staffing approved na raw ng moi application ng asawa ko nung nov. 2014 pa un. Eh malapit ng mag Feb. 2015 wala pa ring update. Pati offer letter wala pa. Takot lang asawa ko mag apply sa iba kasi bka biglang lumabas visa nya taz maipit sya. Please help naman. thanks.

If plan niyo naman convert into residence, one-way then get a dummy nalang for the return

sis, magtatanong naman regarding visit visa..need ba na mattes ang marriage contract from Qatar embassy ditto sa abu dhabi plus babys birth certificate before [textspeak!] maiprocess? bakit sabi ni hubby na mahirap daw mag pa attest jan sa mismong Qatar kasi dadaan pa daw ng Philippine embassy? saka mga ilang days po ba to process? salamat po.

hello po question ok po ba yung salary range na 7k basic, 3k accomodation , 2k transpo for engineer sa qatar 2 years palang ang experience abroad?

also qualified po ba siya for a family visa para madala kami ni baby? Hindi  po ba 10k ang minimum salary for family visa sa qatar basic lang po ba yun or gross?
