Hello mga sis! Bago lang po ako sa thread na to. Mga sis, gusto ko lang sana humingi ng advise sa inyo. My Husband is planning to get me this year under family visa, kaya lang ang problema ay meron akong lung scar, mahigpit kasi ang qatar sa ganung case. Pero yung sakin hindi naman siya active. Medyo natatakot talaga ko. Meron kasi akong nakita na list kung saan ka pwedeng magpamedical, merong under ng GAMCA and Non-GAMCA. Meron na ba dito sa thread natin na may ganitong case na nakaalis? Please help me mga sis....

Hello po. Just want to ask from our qatar peeps if they know any job opening for mechanical design engineer? My husband wants to transfer sana from saudi kaya lang not sure nya about sa cost of living jan sa qatar. Is it the same kaya with dubai lifestyle? Mejo ok na kasi sha sa work nya sa saudi its just that alam nyo naman gano kahigpit ang life dun. And also if you know any vacancy for accounting?. For me naman to. Gusto ko ana try muna if ok then saka sha sunod.i am applying din sa workabroad pero parang puro male ang hanap nila. Is it advisable na punta ako jan under visit visa to find work? sis pareho tayo ng case. My h2b is from saudi rin. Pero ang plan namin next year uuwi siya ng pinas. Saka siya pupunta ng qatar. Hindi ko alam pano niya gagawin yun kasi mahigpit ang mga immigration satin. Or baka bayaran nalang niya i dont know talaga. May next year matatapos contract niya. Maganda nga sana dumiretso sa qatar saka umuwi ng november for our wedding para sure na may pupuntahan na hindi ko pa talaga alam kung pano gagawin.

Sis i am not sure id this is the right thread pero with saudi di ba they need exit visa? And usually the company pays for the ticket so sila din mag book nun. E baka naka indicate country of origin is phils.  Mas ok if uwi muna then apply sa qatar. Not sure lang din gano kahigpit ang qatar embassy dito sa atin in issuing visa. Mas gusto ko kasi sa qatar para maiba naman. We came from dubai kasi so change of country naman.

Sophia09: yung sis in law ko may scar rin sya. humingi lang sya sa dr sa pinas na clear na sya at scar na lang yun. pero noon pa yun siguro mga 8 yrs ago na. i try mo rin yung option na yun sis baka pwede pa rin naman.

Noylabmay : iba iba ang processing time minsan mabilis, minsan pending pa. bigyan mo ng 1 week. pag wala pa follow up lang yun.

btw, sino meron spare na barong tagalog for 6 yr old boy, need kasi ng pamangkin ko sa thurs. kahit nagamit na, bayaran at pick up ko rin. salamuchs

Hello mga sis, i was planning to send a gift (watch) to qatar, my concern is when the parcel gets there, does the recipient need to pay for any tax or duties to claim it? The courier could not answer me straight so I need to know because this is a surprise gift and it will be humiliating if the recipient will have to pay anything just to get the gift.

@ pinay_superstar yup any shipment value more than 269 $ there is 5% customs duty + 100 dhs handling charges.

Cristyles: about Residence Visa: medyo di ko kabisado lahat pero eto lang yun natatandaan ko ha..
 - No objection Certificate from husband's company to put you under residence visa together with a filled up application Form. (company ni hubby ang gagawa nito for you, madalas company na rin nag sa submit sa immigration, otherwise si hubby mo na lang.)
- bank statement 6mos
-electricity no. / house contract

Sis na-reject application ko for PR hayz . I think mali yung nagawa namin sa house contract kasi hindi naka-pangalan sa amin yung house contract. Naka-pangalan dun sa isang kasama namin dito sa Flat. Siya kasi yung naka-hanap ng Flat, then 1 year contract kami dito.

Sa May na ulit kami pwepwedeng mag-pasa ng PR application ulit. Need ko na naman mag-extend .

cristyles: ask nyo yung PRO nyo ano raw ang dahilan baket di na approve?  atsaka sis 10k na ang minimum salary now para makapag family sponsorship. dati ok lang manghiram ng house contract, actually kami nakatira sa parents ko sa name ng dad ko ang nasa kontrata. sabi nila depende rin daw, paminsan ang laki na ng salary pero di ma approve, yung iba naman wala pang 10k pero aprubado...minsan palakasan rin.

Hi ladies, my husband is in doha now, im a Stay at home wife for now, in between jobs pa din. But since there is trouble in paradise, i really want to go to doha. Initially visit lang. But im planning to work there na din. Im trying to apply sa mga agencies dito, kaya lang puro manpower pooling lang, tas yung iba gusto lalake pa.

How bad/good are my chances if i look for work while im on my visit visa? How's qatar foundation?

Im a cpa, worked in an external audit firm for just over a year then temporarily retired as a housewife...

If accounting related job, madami ba dyan? Hindi rin naman ako choosy...

My husband can sponsor on family visa  but our issues prohibits him from doing that.. Im waiting for dream job in the Phils, but I can put that on hold because my marriage is a lot more important. He wants me to have a career here in the Phils din kasi..l i started out pretty well, bumagsak lang katawan ko from prior work kaya tumigil muna ko...

muy003, maybe you can try to check bayt.com for vacancies in Doha, Qatar, to see how is the accounting related field requirements here in Doha. or gulftalent.com

qatar foundation has a website too, just google.

i say its better to be here in Doha, mas competitive ang salary offer, may mga visa issues rin included. some company na hire ka na but they still have to apply for your visa para mabigyan ka ng working visa sa qatar. you can post ads in the newspaper and wait till somebody call you for interview, if you got few years of good experience maybe you can choose between several job offers.

but if you want to play it safe go ahead and apply thru agencies in the Philippines, siguradong may work ka pagdating mo dito, mostly ang downside nito pagdating ng mga empleyado dito sa Doha na disappoint sila na ang baba ng salary offer nila compared with those on the same position. basta mababa ang job offer kapag galing pinas talaga.
