@swit_squiggle
Thanks  for the reply!
After talking with my agent, I'll most probably be getting the FlexiLink. I just loaded it with 3 riders (including the Critical Illness). :)

5th year ko na with sunlife. Originally pinili ko balanced fund but I changed it recently to equities.
I know it is risky. But I am willing to take the risk.

She also mentioned the 500k investment but did not dwell on it. Mas interested ako dun sa 500k na
one time investment. Can anyone tell me how that works? Tia.

uy big time.. parang no sweat sayo ang 500k ah

That's probably the Maxi something variant
No premium charge pero ang kapalit is 500k ang
minimum.

Its just like any single pay VUL but no premium
charges basically.

saka di ko naman pera yan. ako lang nag mamanage for my mom. gusto ko kasi wag magalaw yung pera as much as possible.
pero sana in the near future, may kitain din akong 500k. hahaha!

I just wish Sunlife considers hiring their own courier to deliver their bills, statements, etc.

Yung bill ko na due sana noong April this year, last week ko lang lang nakuha. (But don't get me wrong, the bill has been paid on time).

As well as that anniversary statement.

They're getting worse.

^ Baguio-based sis.

Yung iba ko kasing bills, on time dumarating. Siguro kasi gumagamit sila ng sariling courier. Yung sa sunlife pinapadaan pa kasi ng post office, kaya hindi dumarating on time.

I have Sun Exclusive Plus, got it Dec 2004 and until now hindi ko pa rin naiintindihan kung ano siya. LOL..
Yay.

Okay since napapagusapan yung VUL na din. Meron nagooffer sa akin ng VUL ng Sunlife and product nila they call it Maxilink One. where in youre going to invest one time payment of 500K (cash) + 125K (Insurance).

Ang explanation nila just incase may nangayre sa tao na insured they going to pay you 125K for insurance so iadd yun sa 500K na inihulog mo. total is 625K lahat makukuha mo, now kung nagearned na yung VUL mo at lampas na sa value ng 625K yun ang ibibigay ni Sunlife sayo. same din locked sya for 5 years then kung gusto mo syang kuhanin subject na din sa mga exit fees ni sunlife.

Meron sila Growth(Equity), Opportunity(Balanced) at Income Fund(Bond) then sabe din pala 80% nakaivest sa Equity then 20% sa Bond tapos sabe din kung san maganda at mataas dun ilalagay ni Sunlife yung ininvest mo na pera.

Wala syang premium na monthly as in one time payment sya.

Good thing pa nito eh sabe 2 years pa lang yung product at mababa pa yung value nya. tingin nyo mga sis okay bah kumuha.?

Ah talaga sis..

How about term insurance? Parang wala akong nabackread regarding this. Hope somebody can enlighten me with this. Gusto ko kasi insurance lang and with a specific period of time like 5 years or 10 years. By that time, stable naman na siguro ako. Because the reason why I want insurance is to protect my dependent while I'm still busy building my wealth  ;D. TY
