Galing ako sa BPI kahapon para i-enroll ang 2 Citibank credit cards ko sa online payment.  Nakakatuwa naman na this morning, nung chineck ko online, ok na. Mas madali na magbayad ng bills

Yun nga lang BPI secured CC ko e aabutin daw ng hanggang 1 month para ma-close.

^ BPI direct ba yan sis? Going directly to the branch won't help. Hintayin mo ang email nila.

yun nga ang sabi sakin sis nung pumunta ako ng monday. wait pa daw nila mapadala yung atm card sa kanila. kanina ko nakuha yung akin after 2 weeks.

^ oo, enroll mo na rin ang sayo. better kesa magpunta ka pa sa bayad centers or banks.

Just like what I said last feb 5, I opened a save-up with the branch mismo last january since I'm having trouble with my express online account that time. I filled out a form tapos they gave me an info card (literally, paper lang sya hahah) tapos sabi, I'll wait na lang
tapos yesterday, I found out na nabasawan yung main account ko, eh di naman ako nagwiwithdraw. tapos I checked with the bank, sabi okay na daw yung save up ko na inopen ko sa bank. it took 4 weeks! hanggtagal. hahaha

I thought wala na sya or whatevs pero inopen pa rin nila kaso matagal lang. so if you'll open a save up account mas okay talaga na online though they accept it namans a branches pero matagal lang

got my olay kit the other week. akala ko hindi nareceive yung text ko kasi wala akong reply na nareceive. after 2 days, dumating na yung package from bpi. sana palaging may ganung promo, hehe.

Pajoin sisses. nag-apply din ako recently sa BPI ng save-up account. Yung una i went to the bank, 1 week before nagshow sa online account ko yung account number na binigay sakin. yun nung tumawag ako sa customer service nila tapos the rep guided me how to make it appear. naka-hide lang daw kasi yun. Pero yung ginawa ko save-up online within 24 hours nag-show na siya after I made it.

I suggest you call 89-100 for assistance. I love their online transactions. It is so convenient. Pina-link ko nadin yung account ng dad ko para madali na magtransfer funds. hassle na kasi pumila para mag-deposit

Im a bpi client and i find their bpi online efficient.

My hubby experienced discrimination from them.  Before, he applied for an auto loan but they gave him a high interest rate while lower yung friend nya and the reason was preferred client daw bff nya.

After that, dun sya deposit until pagpasok nya mega-assist na sa kanya and several offers of CCs na.  Ayaw nya na ng kahit anong service.  He just wanted to prove a point.

^I think sis, that's the benefit of loyal customers.  Kasi yung sa akin mababa din ang car loan interest rate ko dahil siguro since college pa ako BPI client.  Kahit hindi naman kalakihan yung nasa BPI ko.

^^ yes sis, meron talaga silang Preferred Clients and even their own lane din sa mga BPI banks. parang SM advantage lang un, kapag matagal ka na sa kanila and madalas nagagamit yung card mo maaangat ka sa Prestige. I don't think it's descrimination or anything.

I'd like to have that BPI Gold Card... kaso wala akong 250k sa account na hindi nagagalaw for so many years ehhh

^ The 250k is not necessarily the amount you need to be a preferred client. And it doesn't have to be in a single savings/checking/time deposit account.

Even other products count - such as investments in UITFs and SDAs.

The bank total the amount placed in these products.

Depending on the location of the branch - some branches have lower amount of total deposit and investments (as low as P250k in provincial banks) ... Others require higher total amount to invited as a  preferred client (to millions such as that in Ayala branch).

And there are people who have high deposit and investment placements but are not yet on a preferred client status. By invitation lang kasi yun.

yes sis, depende sa branch yun.. yung iba kase mga preferred nila bigtime talaga..mostly mga branch sa province yung 250K okay na pero sa manila mga bigtime sila..

he understood naman the preferred client thingy.  but i think hindi maganda ang choice of words na sinabi siguro sa kanya.  anyway, their loss. 

mas loyal si hubby sa metrobank now, di na sya pinapapila.  ako lang sa bpi because of the bpionline convenience.

Im based sa province and we just recently discussed na di friendly ang staff ng bpi.  they dont really smile to clients.

i phoned bpi to waive my annual fee, ngek! sms na lang daw yung status ng application ko.ganun na
ba ngayon? before kasi thru phone lang din ang request ko and nagrant din naman.

wala ata. Haven't heard one na naging preferred client sa BPI direct.

Based on what I learned from reading, usually ang ginagawa ring preferred client ay yung mga malalaki ang depositors/investors sa mga main BPI branches. Not sure din kung may nagiging preferred sa mga BPi Family branches.

Hmm... pero nakaka curious.. why get preferred client status? Naisip ko lang kasi may ibang means of transacting with the bank na napadali na rin ng BPI without being a preferred client - tulad ng BPIexpressonline facility para sa bills payment at fund transfers to another account, pagdeposit sa mga cash deposit ATMs, ... at pwede ring makakuha ng BPI Gold Mastercard CC basta mataas na ang credit limit sa kanila (P100k credit limit).

Saka isa pa, by invitation rin ang preferred client status at hindi inaapplyan. Possible kasi na mangyaring may malaki ka nang deposit/investment pero di ka pa rin nagiging preferred. Swertehan rin lang talaga.
