no matter how idealistic you are entering into a relationship, you'll have to compromise some of what you believe in.

These thoughts about love won't make you feel warm and fuzzy, but they show that everyone, everywhere, has had it bad at some point
1. Polish
First love is like a snake; if it doesn't destroy you, it will paralyze you.
2. German
You can suffer without love, but you can't love without suffering.
3. Avar, Russian Caucasus
Yield to the desires of your body, then endure the disasters that follow.
4. Hausa, Nigeria/Niger
When the heart gives orders, the body becomes its slave.
5. Russian
Love has wings on its shoulders; matrimony has crutches under its arms.
6. Punjabi, India
There are a thousand miseries in one love.
7. Italian
He that marries for love, dies miserably of anger.
8. Russian
Love is like a nettle that stings badly.
9. Spanish
Love is like soup, the first mouthful is very hot, and the ones that follow become gradually colder.
10. Malagasy, Madagascar
Love is like seaweed: You go to her, she leaves you, you leave her, she follows you.
11. Arabic
The promises of the night, made of butter, melt when the first sunrays appear.

well ewan ko kung tama ba yung interpretation ko sa nanyare sakin, but...

  • Love makes you do stupid things - I've seen this and doubted this numerous times, Siguro kaya when it struck me, I intend not to notice it until I was out of the relationship, Nakikita ko rin yun ngayon sa friend ko dahil halos parehas kami ng experience, I just hope she would get out of that nightmare soon enough...
  • Lowering your standard is almost similar to Lowering your self-respect, hindi naman yung pagllower ng standards e di sya gwapo, what i meant is extending your limits and hoping this person will magically love me the way i wanted to is crazy and will never ever ever ever work
  • if a man wants you,  nothing can keep him away, and if he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay - i learnt this the hardest way i'd ever imagined, kaya ewan ko kung OA ba ko or What, pero ngayon, ang gusto ko lalake naman ang mageeffort para sakin, dahil napagod ako na mageffort sa taong sobrang manhid,  willing naman ako mageffort ulit, gusto ko lang ipakita ni susunod na mister right[?] na worth it sya, before i do.

I agree on all of these!!!

Just want to share this to all women out there:

HEAR WHAT OPRAH WINFREY HAD TO
SAY ABOUT MEN :

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.

Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior. Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.

Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that's not meant to be. Slower is better.

Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy. If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends". A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend. Don't settle.

If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is. Don't stay because you think "it will get better". You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.

The only person you can control in a relationship is you. Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you any
differently?

Always have your own set of friends separate from his.

Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up. Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.

You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within.

Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...Even if he has more education or in a better job.Do not make him into a quasi-god.He is a man, nothing more nothing less. Never let a man define who you are.

Never borrow someone else's man.If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.

A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.

All men are NOT dogs. You should not be the one doing all the bending...Compromise is two way street.

You need time to heal between relationships...There is nothing cute about baggage...Deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship

You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...A relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals...Look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.

Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.

Make him miss you sometimes...when a man always know where you are, and you're always readily available to him - he takes it for granted

Never move into his mother's house. Never co-sign for a man. Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need.

Keep him in your radar but get to know others.

Scared of being alone is what makes a lot of women stay in relationships that are abusive or hurtful:
Dr. Phil says You should know that: You're the best thing that could ever happen to anyone and if a man mistreats you, he'll miss out on a good thing.

If he was attracted to you in the 1st place, just know that he's not the only one. They're all watching you, so you have a lot of choices. Make the right one. Ladies take care of your own hearts...

First time I watched this movie, I realized I wasn't alone with all the lessons I learned from LOVE:

"Alex: So trust me when I say if a guy is treating you like he doesn't give a s***, he genuinely doesn't give a s***. No exceptions."

for me..
-learn to appreciate all the efforts and love na binibigay ng taong nagmamamahal sayo.
-if you're wrong, say sorry, if you're right, just hush up.
-be mature enough

and ang dalawang pinahahalagahan ko..
-wag na wag na wag na wag mong sisirain ang TIWALA ng partner mo.
-LOYALTY has no price.

ok lang po yan, part po talaga ng love ang masaktan.

and isipin mo nalang na heartbreak is a blessing from God, it's just his way of letting you realize, He saved you from the wrong one.

and i know, love din po ang bubuo sayo :)

Kahit lumayo ka sa kanya, love will lead him back to you.

Nasasabi ko to kasi I once let go of a guy I really like kasi gusto siya ng friend ko. That was 3 years ago. Kaso they broke up kasi nabuntis yung girl ng ibang guy. Si guy naman 3 years abroad pero pagbalik niya nahanap niya ako and now we are on our first anniversary. Ang ganda din ng timing kasi mas matured na kami now. it may have not worked for both of us siguro kung naging kami 3 years ago.

just be positive.. marami pang mas mabibigat ang problem kesa sayo.. hindi lang lovelife..  pero sila kinakaya..

Kahit lumayo ka sa kanya, love will lead him back to you.
hehe.. at least hindi sapilitan di ba? talagang andun parin yung feeling nya for you.. and mas ok nga na mas maging mature na kayo kasi alam nyo na ang tama sa mali lalo na sa isang relasyon..
