Groom's suit

Hubby's suit is from Leslie's bridal sa divisoria. Its only 6k pero hindi halata. Many of our visitors like the suit. We bought it ready to wera but it was altered because hubby wants na medyo liitan daw ang waist nya para mukhang macho and it was perfectly fit for him. 🤗

Any leads where i can get cheap suits for my junior groomsmen and bearers? Preferably made to order. And also cheap made to order ties for the whole entourage. Thank you!

Just wanted to share, i had a hard time na isama si future father-in-law para magpasukat and everything for his suit dapat kasi magpapatahi ako sa gardini but since hectic ang time nya i just made a decision na ready to wear na lang si future father-in-law. If you want a not so expensive but a perfect fit na suit for your entourage try kings men ready to wear. Sobrang galing at nagustuhan ko ang sukat, medyo mahaba lang ang pants pero mabilis naman gawan ng paraan un. Still,for entourage, i will recommend gardini for made to order and for rent suits.

Ayaw mag patalo ni H2B, Edward Teng din ang suit niya, hinde nako nag disagree kasi all out din naman sya gumastos for my gown.

We went to Onesimus and they quoted us 15k for hubby's suit..I'll try to go to Cornell's and Magalang Tailoring to inquire too. hubby didn't want an expensive suit but since he's going all out on my wedding gown and shoes and even prep robe ayaw ko naman siyang tipirin..

I still haven't decided where to get my fiance's suit made. So far I've only gotten quotes from Cornell's, Je & Co, and Felipe and Sons. My fiance doesn't want to spend a lot on his suit either, but I want to make sure we get him something nice!

^^^Looks like Felipe & Sons increased their prices ha. When my cousin had his suit done last January this year, it was 18k daw for the 3 pcs. Then now when I gave them a call, starts at 20.5k ang suit nila. I'll post again after meeting up with them - papasukat h2b end of this month

H2B will have his suit made sa Cornell's. Medyo pricey kasi kung sakanila lahat, a friend suggested na we buy tela from Divi para labor nalang sa Cornell's. We bought 4.25yards ng tela na worth P400 sa Divi (originally P500 or P600 yata), tapos sa Cornell's namin ipapagawa. Labor is I think nasa mga 9k for 3pc suit tapos parang addiitional 1k for the shirt. Yung isa ko kasing friend sa Cornell's siya nagpagawa ng suit nung kasal niya and nakita namin maganda yung fit, modern na kasi kaya dun na din nagdecide magpagawa si H2B

Sis what fabric did you buy? I have also read good reviews about Cornells that's why i wanted hubs suit to be made by them too..

^Cornells is good! My fiance has had 2 3pc-suits made there already And a lot of my friends have gotten suits made there as well. Their workmanship is good.  Yes, their prices depend on the fabric. My fiance just chose from their fabric -- one suit was 16K while the other was 18K. If you can source your own fabric, it would bring down the cost i think.

We're planning to check the suits/samples at Je & Co., and Felipe and Sons, just to see what they offer. And if we don't like the fit, we will most like have my fiance's suit (for the wedding) made with Cornells

^stella021817 yup he was very happy with his suit. His friends' comments (on fb) were dapper and sharp  kaya na convince din kami. And true, I dont see a lot of reviews for felipe & sons suits, more on their barbershop. hehe.

One of my friends mentioned, Paolo Lazaro in Makati. Nasa 15k yata yung suits nila.
Then kung cost efficient option daw, she saw this somewhere: J. Habana Tailoring (Jose Mari Haberdashery) starts at 8k daw. Their shop is in Kamuning QC. But we didnt inquire anymore. Mas convenient Makati for us.

^yes I haven't heard any feedback on them! just seen their posts on ig. I like the cut of their suits. They look very modern and sharp. And the fabric looks good too.  Glad to hear your cousin's suit turned out well. I guess we'll go take a look at their shop!

@MS_JanDel ang nakalagay dun sa tela ay "Superfine Wool and Cashmere, Sharkskin Collection, by Woolsmith" medyo grayish blue kasi yung pinili namin kaya naghanap kami din sa divi. Nung nakapasok ako sa loob ng Cornell's nagulat ako maganda yung place! And maraming colors ng tela din nakakatuwa. Sabi kaya nila within 3wks so babalik kami siguro by July. 2 suit kasi ipapagawa ni H2B, isang pang-abay at isang pangkasal hehe
