The Shawshank Redemption - My most favorite film of all time. Tulo luha and sipon ko kay Morgan Freeman. Super. "I've decided not to stay."

American History X - Easily the best Ed Norton movie, IMO. Nakaka iyak esp. the ending. After Shawshank, this is it for me. Acting in both films is superb, wonderfully written stories, poignant and unpredictable, and both have endings that will leave viewers in stunned silence.

The Pursuit of Happyness - Love the story and galing ni Will Smith.

Story of 2 little Arab boys who grew up together, one rich one poor. Yun culture nila parang culture din ng Pinoy, esp. about love and loyalty plus the concept of "utang na loob." Nakaka iyak yun dinanas ng poor boy.

Courageous - para sa mga real father. natouch yung puso ko. Ibat ibang character but ang common denominator is how responsible they are sa mga family nila... highly recommended, try nyo lang.

You're a Studio Ghibli fan? Wow! Yesss!

Anyway, I cried while watching Howl's. But, the Ghibli movie that really brought me to tears was Grave of the Fireflies. Have you seen it? It's about a brother and sister, orphaned, who were caught in the middle of the war. They had to learn how to survive. The brother had to do all that he can to make sure his sister was all right. Very haunting movie.

For non-Ghibli movies...I have a long list of those that made me cry. Starting with Kramer vs. Kramer back in the early 80s. Cried a lot also sa The Champ, another 80s film. And, The Passion of the Christ, Tears of the Sun, Schindler's List, Life is Beautiful, It's a Wonderful Life, and many other films. Sa Pinoy films, super dami!... And, one of the earliest Pinoy movies that made me cry was Oh, My Mama! Luma na, but I remember every detail!☺

It's good to cry every once in awhile. Effective therapy siya, and can help you relax later on.☺
