Gusto ko rin malaman if some girls here also experience this condition sa scalp. It's the worst! Makati na tapos syempre since may buhok it agitates itself. :( Are there any special products or shampoos to help? Thanks talaga.

I think I have discoid eczema.
These are small, red patches na itchy tapos coin-shaped. Dry yung skin inside the circle so ang pangit talaga ng itsura :/
Hereditary raw yata to and there's a big chance I got it from my dad since just a few months ago, yung brother ko na-diagnose rin na may eczema. So far, parang yung Physiogel AI nga yung recommended. Saan ba nakakabili nito and how much? I guess kasi depende rin sa pagkahiyang ng skin natin to a certain brand no? Huhu this is so terrible kasi ang gastos.

im fine!

physiogel ai 200ml, mga 890 sa Mercury. I use this kapag active ang skin asthma ko.

Smallest size. Hindi ko binili hehe. I'm using Dermovate cream, around P350 yung 5g sa Mercury. Infeyr! Effective sya magpawala ng redness at itch. As in! Like 3 days lang, nagstop na yung kati. Pero dry pa rin yung patches. Try ko yung moisturizer ng Cetaphil.

im fine!

elica is good. parang magic na nawawala agad itchiness at redness, then a day after magaling na sya. nakakapangsisi nga na di ko agad sya ginamit the first time I had attacks. if only I tried it earlier di na sana ako nagkaron ng dark patches sa skin. depressing yung times na yun last year. thank goodness makinis na ulit.

im fine!

dermovate and elica kaya mabilis umeffect dahil steroid based. pag palagi ka gumagamit, nakakanipis ng skin. ask your derma.

Parang I agree with the laundry soap thing. Na-diagnose akong may skin asthma and I have red scaly patches sa neck, folds ng arms, waistline. My first derma gave me bethametasone. Nawawala pero bumabalik din eventually yung rashes. My second derma prescribe his own meds, dexamethasone. Effective for the folds in my arms and wala na hanggang ngayon. My third derma said to changed my laudry soap to Perla. Bale I'm healed except for my scalp na hanggang ngayon di pa rin nawawala. Other parts of the body matagal na kong walang rashes basta I use Dove sensitive after my whitening soap.

Alam niyo yung cetaphil restoraderm? Parang hindi din safe to apply steroids regularly.

^Nadinig ko nga yung pharmacist sa South Star Drug may nagiinquire kasi about Cetaphil Restoraderm. Kelangan daw meron prescription yun.

I'm trying now yung Ca-Rezz moisturizing cream. Not sure lang kung available to locally pero it helps. Napakasoothing sa skin kapag inapply. Anyone knows this and kung san pwede bumili here? Binigay lang kasi saken to.

I haven't had any formal consultation but my kids have eczema and my scalp can't stop itching.  I can't, at the moment, take any strong medication so I'm just trying to use organic hair products to at least lessen the discomfort I'm feeling :(

I have this kind of eczema on my face (of all places!) just appeared last month. I went to the derma and was prescribed Mosone to be applied 2x for 2 weeks. I'm going on 2nd week this Sat. Nawala yung dry, flaky skin inside sa circle overnight; but the brownish circle is still there mocking me.

I bought one at SM just awhile back.  You don't need prescription with that and it's really intended for eczema.

Anyone here who is using human heart nature products for face, hair and body? I'm planning on buying.

Does it make you flare up?

Hi, Sexyhoney (and mga sis.)

Suffered this too for more than a year then bumalik saglit.  Partly due to hereditary.  My mom has it too.  I opine its also due to chemicals and irritation.  Sa akin nagsimula when a part of the back of my right leg keeps rubbing on our plastic chair.  Hindi ko pinansin at the beginning until it spread :P

To make a long story short ay I tried various meds.  Malaki rin na nagastos and parang walang solution in sight :P  Mahirap pa hirap ka makatulog dahil sa kati :P  So I searched the web and found that olive oil can help.  Yup. Olive oil lang.

Well, not just lang.  What I did was syempre slowly iwas sa mga pwede mag-trigger one of which is milk :P  Then mixed unscented baby oil sa olive oil 50-50 mix muna.  Medyo masakit rin sa bulsa kasi ang cost ng olive oil - I got to use both virgin and extra virgin as depende what's available sa store malapit sa amin.  Kapag hindi matiis yun kati then and only then ko gamitan ng gamot.  Lousy sa Watson's as they don't restock with the same brand.  Iyong cheap China-made medicine mahapdi nga pala so didn't bother using it na.

FYI.  Masakit sa bulsa yun olive oil kasi I use it whenever the itchiness begins na naman.  At least no side effect kung napasobra ka in using it as far as I can tell.

Gumaling naman but it returned when the maong I wore (bago) irritated the skin muli - same area :P  So ginamot muli and tinabi muna yun pesky pants.  Its not a branded one na maong nga pala.  I opine its the dye they used as well as most likely yun material as the other maong I bought okay naman.

Used cotton to dab on the affected part when using itong olive oil mix or olive oil na puro.

When it weeps noon no choice but to use yun steroid something meds.  As much as possible do not scratch and pwede mag-affect rin sa hands and neck.  Had to find something like the olive oil kasi kapag sobrang tapang ng meds my neck gets irritated rin.  Well, wasn't sure dahil mainit that time so it may just be me scratching and hindi ko napansin na kahit maiksi nails ko it still placed the pesky germs or what.

Can't say for certain if this would help you but for those na naiinis na sa using meds (and butas na ang bulsa due to that) ay its an option to consider.

A thousand thanks to those who posted and shared here.  Oh, did try those sulfur soaps too.  Yun isa rin na ointment na sinabi huwag na ninyo bilhin for use I agree.  I forgot the name but nasa white and green tube. Yun soap na for skin na gawa ng pari sa Don Bosco Mandaluyong I ran out of that and haven't gone back - though hope he is still okay and that soap is still sold.

Sa sulfur soaps mas mahusay yun Kaufmann per experience but the others work rin naman.  Just follow the instructions.

Sis i am suffering with this kind of eczema too. Nagsimula nung nag asawa ako. Hmmmmm. Yung sa buhok parang dandruff. Meron ako sa kilay at sa hairline. Wala daw treatment e. Lumalabas lang sya pag stress or puyat ako. As in mapula at makati around the skin.

Sa gumagamit ng olive oil, won't it stain the sheets naman?
