Eczema/Skin Asthma: What Products Do You Use?

I have the same problem, but mine is sa legs naman. Badtrip talaga siya. Siguro ang mali ko lang is if I feel itchy, nakakamot ko talaga siya. So di na talaga ako makapag skirt and open na shoes kasi nagsugat na tong skin ko. Kapag may flare ups ako, I use bactroban. Pero misnan immune na ako. I'll try your suggestions sis.

Has anyone here tried Fungisol? My hubs is asking me to check it out for him...hehe oh my, am searching for it here on GT kaso  wala. out of desperation kung ano-ano na naiisip na ipahid ng hubby ko sa Eczema nya.

^ sis meimei, i think my daughter's allergologist from UST prescribed that to her when she was 5y/o..may skin asthma kasi daughter ko...pwede din pala sya sa eczema. masabi nga kay hubby. Thanks!

I use Cetaphil REstoraderm skin restoring body moisturizer nagkaroon kasi ako ng eczema sa kamay ang pangit tingnan super dry tsaka mahapdi pag nagsusugat ,pagbinabasa kapag naliligo,tapos nagbabalat pa,I try hydrocortisone before cetaphil pero walang effect sakin..pero para sa proper treatment and advice pupunta na ako sa doctor baka kasi dumami pa!!

Hi. For sissies with skin asthma, try niyo sis si Dr. Llego of Makati med. With my case, wala naman ako skin asthma kaartehan lang ang gusto ko although hindi niya na achieve ang gusto kong dewy face haha. But yung friend namin ng sis ko, yung younger sister nya ay may skin asthma so ni refer namin si doc. Ayun, according to our friend gumagaling na daw asthma ng sis niya (1week pa lang yun ha) kaya love nila si doc pero kami ng sis ko, back to our old derma kami

Staple ko Dove for Sensitive Skin yung unscented, hindi din ako nagpapalagay ng Fab Con sa mga damit ko.

Lotion kahit ano okay lang sa akin basta moisturized ang skin ko.

Pero kapag inatake na talaga ako ng bongga isang gamot lang ang ginagamit ko Flouderm from Dermclinic around 300 pesos ata very effective.

I suggest treat it from deep within. Take Proflavanol C of USANA. infused sya with antioxidants and Vitamins C which were both needed by skin to be healthy and this is not a medicine but a vitamin supplement so no negative effects.
Kapag kasi outside meds lang, you only prevent, but the disease is still there. Once you take Props C it can cure your eczema totally and prevent it as well.

Anything with cocoa or shea butter. Pag nangangati nga ako, I apply palmer's cocoa butter lang and narerelieve na ako.

Lagi kami nagpapacheck up ng panganay ko dati pag inaatake siya ng Skin Asthma nagsawa na rin ako since sabi naman talaga ng doctor na hindi naman talaga tuluyan nagpapagaling ang reseta niyang gamot, dahil babalik at babalik din naman ang ekzema. Nagpapawala talaga sa skin asthma ng anak ko is Skineal nabili ko sa chinese drugstore kahit sa rashes ng baby ko pag nilalagay ko siya wala agad after ilang oras. Try nyo sis sa Chinese Drugstore lang siya available.

Just a couple of minutes ago I ran a search for uses of cold pressed virgin coconut oil and one is the treatment of eczema and Skin Asthma even on the scars and wounds created by these skin disorders. well, no harm in trying!

besides, if hindi hiyang sa coconut oil treatment ang eczema, we can always use the oil in so many healthy ways such as moisturizers, hair conditioning, even as lotions!

We are currently using eucerin skin calming itch relief lotion for my son's dry and eczema prone skin. Medyo tinitipid lang namin since di kami nagstock ng extra. Giga baby balm naman para sa mga skin folds na makati. Planet Noah's oasis Voco cream is really effective, kaya lang nababasag lagi ng anak ko yung glass bottle.
 For the soap, human nature baby wash. Pansin ko yung j&j soaps, body wash makes my son's skin dry and super itchy so di na kami gumagamit nun.

for eczema you can use H cream (Hyrdrocortisone) i use this cream for my contact dermatitis. Nawawala agad siya the next day

I used to have the worst skin because of this. I remember when I was younger ang bilis magflare up ng skin ko makakain lang ako ng malansa. Super dami kong dermang napuntahan. Lahat na ata ng gamot and steroids nagamit ko na. Anyway when I grew older mas naging conscious na ako kaya nagstart ako maghanap ng mga gamot. I had this derma before naalala ko she made me use colloidal oatmeal with hydrocort ata yun. Since hindi na ako nakabalik sa kanya for a long time I researched what colloidal oatmeal is. Akalain niyo ground oatmeal lang pala yun. So what I do is nagpapagiling ako ng oatmeal tapos lalagyan ko lang ng konting hot water and hahaluan ko ng full cream or evap milk. Tapos pipigain ko yung oatmeal para lumabas yung katas. Yun yung pinapahid ko sa skin ko. Ayun, thank goodness super effective niyan sakin.

Dati nung super sensitive pa skin ko glycerin soap ako. Tapos since mahirap na humanap niyan unless punta pa ako ng derma naghanap ako ng commercially available na soap. I found Dove Extra Sensitive, yung unscented na nasa greenbox, super effective. Yung skin ko kasi wala na siyang ability to moisturize on its own kaya yun. As for lotion ang ginagamit ko is Jergens Ultra Healing, yung blue font ha. Unscented din yun. By experience kasi soaps and lotions that are scented tend to irritate my skin more.

Hope this helps out. Basta tandaan lang mga sis, remember din to trim nails regularly as in super short and filed kasi involuntary ang pagsscratch sa maraming may skin asthma lalo na pag tulog so para di magsugat better to keep your fingernails this way.

Also immunization is the key lalo na sa may food allergies na nagdudulot ng skin asthma.

I only recently discovered that I have eczema on my leg, baka nga contact dermatitis kasi it only happens when in contact with a certain product (something that has to do with toilet seat/bathroom cleaners), kaya lang pag mainit din ang panahon and napapawisan yung area, it gets itchy and has bumps. 

In any case, I used my derma-recommended and made topical solutions and creams for a while and she also gave me a clear hypoallergenic soap to use on the area as well. Now I just use Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy cream (got it from Duty Free) in case the itchiness comes back and as a maintenance product. Sa soap, I still use the clear hypoallergenic soap. When I'm in my apartment, I use a hypoallergenic soap I got from Healthy Options. It's the one in the oat milk variant for sensitive skin.

ang tagal ko nang di nakakakita ng Dove Extra Sensitive, I used to buy that from Watson's or SM Supermarket. I switched to the Sensitive variant na lang. so far, no negative reactions on my skin naman.
