Pwede din oilatum or mga physiogel products... i've tried a lot of these na, i'm usually alternating between dove and cetaphil, but im currently using ahava products, it was recommended by my friend and so far my skin is happy with it 

Actually it depends kung saan ka hiyang eh

I would suggest to visit your derma, you may need to apply steroids or pwde she/he might give you an oatmeal powder solution etc.

hi guys, i am a newbie here..but i just want to share something regarding skin asthma. my niece has this problem since she was a baby...one time nag flare out [textspeak!] skin niya dahil sa na init ng panahon sa pinas at humawak ng aso. naawa ako kc the whole day hindi lumabas [textspeak!] bata at nakatapat lang sa AC. i convinced her na magpachecked kami sa derma and recommended ng derma niya is to use AVEENO products all natural un...medyo pricey pero nabibili mo sa WATSONS at my ininom na gamot cya..but for here maintenance AVEENO products talaga and she have very sensitive skin...konting pawis lang namumula na at nag rrash na [textspeak!] skin. she used aveeno products in a matter of 2 days nawala [textspeak!] rashes niya sa mukha at sa katawan...ang galing....hope this helps.

^^sis check mo chubbycheeksbaby and chicmommies (not so sure about the account name of the 2nd one) sa Multiply - yan yung naaalala kong nahanap ko when i was searching din for online resellers ng Restoraderm. nakita ko pala sa Shopwise in Festival Mall yesterday, a bit cheaper ang Restoraderm (around P1,300+) compared to the price in Watsons (P1,444). hope this info helps!

Yung restoraderm lotion. Effective sa dry patches ko but not on my eczema  wala na yatang eeffect sakin.

My skin asthma seems to be "quiet" as of late. I haven't had any major flare ups. *knock on wood*

Pero when I do get it itchies, I can usually rely on my derma's Clobederm ointment. I just apply it on the itchy patch.

For regular maintenance, I don't use anything expensive. Just By Nature Handmade Soap's premium bars (Utter Bliss or Olive Oil) and Human Nature's Healthy Lotion (Vanilla Delight). Yun lang.  I stick to chemical-free products na, kasi I noticed na when I use regular soaps and lotions, nangangati talaga ako.

My daughter has eczema and we use atopiclair for redness or itchiness which really helps and soothes her. Also it's mild and doesnt contain steroids unlike the others. For soap we use oilatum and she needs to apply lotion every after bath. We use physiogel but I am going to switch it to aveeno baby eczema therapy moisture lotion pagnaubos na yung physiogel.

super worried talaga ako nung nakaraang week kasi lumala ang eczema ko, January nagbabalat at mejo makati mga daliri sa paa ko then hinayaan ko lang but nung august since hindi maiwasan makaapak sa baha nag worse yung eczema ko may tumubo na parang blisters na nagnanana at masakit pag nababangga dun talaga ko natakot kasi namamaga pa, after a week bigla naman may mga butlig butlig na tumubo sa talampakan then sa palad ko hanggang kumalat na sa arms at sa legs, super kati pa tapos namumula, kumakalat kasi kapag kinakamot eh. I'm so scared kasi pati lips ko may ganun na din  sa 2 pinag check up-an ko kasi mga cream lang na hindi naman masyado nag effect ayun nag pa check up ako sa chinese general hospital sa derma nila si Doctora nagreseta ng mga gamot:

1 hypoallergenic body wash with colloidal oatmeal- maganda daw yan sa eczema pricey nga lang kasi good for 2 weeks nasa 450.
1 hypoallergenic lotion with colloidal oatmeal same price at size
both day and night sa pagligo.
iterax 25mg sobrang inaantok ako ng grabe jan kaya dapat before bedtime at yan nakaka relieve din ng super kati, need ko talaga kasi minsan iiyak na ko sa sobrang kati hindi ako makatulog sa gabi.
meron din sya steroids at amoxicillin at para sa maga.
wag kayo mag self medicate pa check nyo para sure kasi iba iba naman tayo ng extent ng eczema.
august 28 ako nag pa check up at bukas babalik ako after 1 week ng medication.
at ngayun magaling na ko hehe, kelangan ko lang bumalik para ma rule out for possible infection, i'm so happy ang galing ni doc, thank you Lord. sana gumaling na din kayo. God bless!

helo po same problem po ako may eczema din ako sa right hand lang super allergic ako sa sabung panlaba o panghugas ng plato naka hawag ako nung minsan kaya heto bumalik ulit medyo nagkakasugat na sya di naman makate pro sobra gaspang gamit ko din yung dove extra sensitive kayalang parang wala sya effect ngayon sakin hirap pag ganito may baby pa naman ako..ano po kaya maganda ko itry?

I used to have very BAD eczema attacks.  It even went to the length of almost the whole legs is covered in wound with watery puss.  I was always in my pants at that time.  My face was also a victim.   My grandfather told me to use Dr. Kaufmann sulfur soap.

VERY BAD SUGGESTION. 

The eczema attack was so damaging that it went up to my arms and sides of the waists where my panty is. 

I used to take Iterax, but it was so potent that the day after, I felt I had hangover.  In this way, you're too asleep to scratch the itchy part.  I also took hydrocortisone that sometimes, my eczema became so immune with it, I had to settle for injections from my derma.  Which in few months, my skin became immune again with the injections that even if after few shots, it still did not work.

Now, it has reduced significantly due to use of Dove Soap (white unscented from US, not the one from Malaysia) plus Physiogel Lotion which is a medicated lotion for dry and scaly skin.  It has no parabens nor any scents so its ideal for very sensitive dry skin.   

The key here is to always keep your skin moisturize and drink lots of water.

Now there are still patches but only when my legs are scrutinized.  Otherwise, its invisible to the naked eye.

when i was a kid, i used to have very bad eczema lalo na pag summer months na and when we decided to live in the Philippines for good mas napadalas ang pagatake..

Laking corticosteroid creams ako lol..dermovate, betnovate, diprogenta, locoid, you name it..meron din ako caladryl lagi at baby powder na baon para hindi magflare up.. i was also prescribed this betamethasone cream by the derma na ginagamit ko pa rin ngayon occassionally..

ng bata ako ang toiletries ko puro sebamed..soap, shampoo, lotion etc.. hindi ko alam kung meron dito pero it was effective in keeping the allergies at bay..this was very pricey din ata at galing germany..hypoallergenic din siya

sabing doctor lumabas na daw yung hika ko kaya nawala na yung skin asthma ko..yun lamg i still get allergies from time to time lalo na pag inatake ko rhinitis nagkakaron ako itchy bumps and rashes sa muka

Never ako nag-medication para sa eczema, puro topical lang. Super hirap nga ngayon kasi stress triggered yata tong eczema attack sa kin ngayon. Useful ang lotion talaga, gamit ko yun super thick na Kiehl's kasi wala siyang scent. Yun soap ko ngayon yun Dr. Bronner, sobrang okay kasi di siya drying basta I-dilute Lang ng tubig.

Kaso yun sa right hand sobrang kati kaya nag Elica na ko.

I have this right now sa hands. Yung ibang patches, scaly and dry na siya. Yung iba, watery blisters pa lang. Ang kati-kati lang din talaga. I'm using elica right now, and so far nakakatulong siya mag-heal..
