Ever had flings? What's your opinion on it? What was it like? Meron ba kayong boundaries or something na, 'hanggang dito lang'?

Dami ko questions. haha! Share away ;)

Para sa iba ang meaning nito, brief sexual affair. But for this thread, hindi ko naman mean na necessary may sexual something na nangyari. :D

Fling - individuals are drawn to one another intensely, but their intimacy is not the same as love. More often, it is the product of physical lust or emotional connection. More on fun lang. ;)

If you feel the need, then do it.

Other than that, you don't know each other...

depends. flings are fun but not worth it. had a fling three months ago. we weren't really attracted to each other, but more of drawn to one another, an unexplainable connection. he expressed that he liked me, but responded back that i like him but since he was younger than i am, i couldn't risk.
we'd hang out just the two of us, then had two dates, where we became intimate. it was fun at a certain point but not worth continuing since it was bound to nowhere. glad i walked out of this, we are still friends, but ive chosen not to communicate with him anymore. :-)
anyhow, just be careful and protect yourself, don't put to much emotion. :-)

ive had a lot, honestly. i don't even remember their names anymore.

it was fun. that's all i remember and ever got from it. i was never the type to commit and settle down back then, so this was easy for me. no feelings involved and when it fizzles out, it fizzles out. no hard feelings.

im going to disagree with sis hi1208, and say it was worth it. i was young and stupid and free and i made the most out of it when i could've.

It depends on how you describe in your pov yung classification ng fling
I had flings na as in your drawn to each other nothing intimate but ayokong dalhin to the next level. Ewan ko ba yoko lang magcommit

For me, it was like you're show "caring" on someone not "love". But sometimes you tell them some "kalandian" messages but you don't really mean it. You guys won't be serious with each other. You can fling kahit ilan ang gusto mo. Pero if you're really serious with him, you should stop it. Kasi parang pinapaasa mo lang sarili mo sa ganung kababang stage.

hmmm....personally I think flings could be fun depending on how you would really look at it and handle it. I've experienced both the fun and worst side of it  :P

Flings could be fun if:
1. Both of you don't want a serious relationship/no commitment relationship from the beginning
2. Temporary pursuit/pleasure/entertainment
3. You know when to have a break of your feelings

Flings could be worst:
1. if one of you started to fall in love and take everything seriously
2. Defnite No-no to naive girls (I was once like this)

My first ever fling was with this guy friend of mine that has a girlfriend (I know some of you might wanting to throw stones at me now but don't worry I got my Karma and I've learned my lesson :p) We both went back to Philippines for vacation coincidentally at the same time. I knew he has a girlfriend but I guess since we were close since HS, we got attracted to each other. I was so naive back then. I fell for him while for him it all ended up as a fling. We didn't do any sexual stuff because I know my limitation naman, so that was good haha (though he became my first kiss :p)

After nun, I learned my lesson and broke my heart big time so now I know how to have a break sa feeling ko, whenever I meet someone na alam kong no serious relationship ang hanap. I enjoy it naman now. It's nice to have that spark inside of you paminsan minsan diba. But, now my problem is I can't see myself in a serious relationship LOL I think I got so used to having someone temporarily. It is less pressure for me pero sometimes I seek for stable relationship rin, pero I think of it na siguro hindi ko pa time haha

masaya! pero kung mabilis ma-attached or mainlab e hindi pwede. talong-talo ka. sa experience ko kasi, short pero madalas na kasama kaya malungkot din kapag natapos kasi may biglang nawawala.

@spacemonkey: yes we do ;D

we just use the word fling to make the relationship sound decent. girls think it was a fling and not a fubu/fwb, because the guy is sweet and emotional and close to being in a relationship. guys are such good player, some guys use the 'sweet-i-want-you-to-be-my-gf-but-i-cant' technique to bed girls or to take advantage of them. girls think it was special and not just a playtime, thats what you girls think, and thats what we guys what you to think. guys have no gray area, white is white, black is black, no in betweens  ;)

^some girls also call it fubu/fwb instead of fling. cuz it sounds more adventurous and detached. medyo pang high school kasi ang "fling" eh.

Flings are, IMO, brief affairs with sex.

No, I never did flings.   Why?  I just didn't want complications after. Or, thinking ko: it would demean me.
But that's just me. What would I know anyway?
