nice to find this thread....
to my dad. i've always looked up on you with that great respect. hard to believe, but even at my age right now (in my 30's), I still value your opinions on things, especially your career advice. if ever i will still get married, i would like a man who has a strong faith in God, who can make us laugh, who's responsible and principled -- a man just like you (well perhaps, minus the occasional
sumpong, the occasional
"ako-ang-tatay-ako-ang-masusunod" attitude, and your being ultra-conservative on certain things such as musical preferences, tattoos, piercings, and stuff like those - things which we usually argue about....

). we may be on the opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to certain things, but know that in my heart, i will always be your "daddy's little angel (errr.. deviil?)"...
to my mom. i know we don't always see eye to eye, especially during my younger years. but as i grow old and become a mom myself, i realize how it is to be in your shoes. when i was younger, i used to have a
tampo with you because i noticed that you love my brother more than me, but as I grew up and understood things, i learned the reason behind it, and learned to live with it..

i have always admired your being open-minded and your don't-care-what-they-say attitude when it comes to personal choices and owning one's happiness. i told myself that when i grow old, i want to age gracefully (in body, mind, and spirit) just like you...

to my parents, i may not always be the expressive type but, thanks
much for everything!
as in everything - for the gift of life, for the very good education, for the guidance, for the
sandamakmak na advice, and for simply being there during the darkest and lowest points in my life. i know i've had my rebellious days which brought so much pain and heart aches to you. nevertheless, instead of disowning me (and my son), you've accepted us wholeheartedly and with open arms. we all know nobody's perfect, but you tried your d@mn best in raising us the best way you could. i hope that i'll be able to raise my son, with the same love, affection, patience, and understanding that you showed me and my brother. i love you both. and i thank God for giving me parents just like you...
