^may neutrogena T gel sa s&r grocery sis. effective naman siya. alternate ko siya with Stieprox. available in Mercury. yes, naka try na ako ng Sally Hansen. kaso nagbubuo buo like any other foundation. kasi diba flakey ang spots.

i want to go into natural treatment. I just got a juicer and I'm trying to do cleansing for detoxification of the body. SO far, I've been juicing apples, carrots and cucumber. I hope this helps. If pure veggies and fruits gave cure to some people's cancer, maybe this juicing thing might put me in my psor remission or better yet, cure me. Thinking positively :)

how much ang T Gel sa S&R? ang dami kasing T GEL nung nagsearch ako ano dapat kong bilhin? I have a lot sa hair - buti nalang supportive ang co-workers ko.

Grabe dumadami nanaman sa arms and likod ko pati legs, gusto ko na magstart ulit ng MTX, im just scared of liver damage.

BTW pwede ba tayo magdiet pills? like slimmina?

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that appears on skin. In simpler terms, psor patient's immune system mistakenly attacks skin cells and sees them as an enemy or pathogen. This in turn sends a wrong signal to the body to speed up skin proliferation, thereby we have these visible signs of flaking and scaling of skin.  :)

Instead of focusing on treating the  symptoms like scaling and flaking, why not deal also with the root cause of the problem, which is the weakened immune system?

Try boosting your immune system for a change by eating fresh fruits and vegetables, eating fish rich in omega 3 fatty acids, avoiding unhealthy food choices and the like.

Unhealthy food choices loaded with bad cholesterol and fats increase inflammation in the body thereby contributing to the redness and itchiness of the psoriasis sufferer.

Filling up your body with all nature's goodness of freshly juiced fruits and vegetables will supply you with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals enough to boost your  immune system and decrease the symptoms of P. Or maybe give a cure to it.

It's just so frustrating that all pharmaceutical treatments are so expensive and yet give short-lasting result.

I've been reading books and journals on natural treatment and even cancer patients recover by eating lots of vegetables and fruits.

I'm currently changing my dietary habits by turning away from fast food, avoiding sodas, and by making my own fruit and veggie juices from my juicer.  So far, everything is looking great.

So, I am advocating all people with P to choose healthier food, eat more fruits and vegetables while also treating their dermatological symptoms.

I hope I've enlightened you.  :)

^100% agree. almost 12 years na ako may Psor. almost all treatments na try ko na. topical steroids, mtx, mga extra virgin coconut oil na pahid, anti dandruff creams, uvb treatments, ipl lasers, name it. except lang yung injections na costs almost 400thou as per my doctor. pansin ko lang, nawawala yung spots ko when i eat healthy plus exercise. simpleng simple but ang hirap kasi! sabi ng doctors, walang effect ang diet but i dont believe it. for me, fried food and sodas are the worst.

thanks , sis m_lim!

It's really challenging to treat psoriasis. Instead of bombarding our body with hepatotoxic medications with numerous side effects, why not equip our bodies with the proper nutrients to reverse the effects of psor? It's like counter-attacking the enemy.

And while you're at it, you will gain other benefits like weight maintenance, healthier skin, detoxed liver and higher level of energy. :)

I just juiced carrots, cucumber and ginger. I've read that carrots and cucumber are beneficial for skin health while ginger fights inflammation :)

For starters, I've noticed faster healing of my lesions. :)

hi sis jesrora!

Healthy eating is really a choice. It's a choice to have a healthier, long and productive life.

Instant noodles are loaded with sodium which constricts the blood vessels and results to fluid retention thereby you get the bloated feeling .

Steer clear from processed foods, fast foods and instant noodles. Opt for fresh fruits and veggies.

Try searching at google for meal plans for Psoriatic patients. Search mo din yung testimonies on juicing that cure skin conditions. You'll be inspired to eat healthy foods from now on :)

Here's a helpful link for juicing with psoriasis: http://www.juicing-for-health.com/psoriasis-remedy.html

I'm not claiming that you stop using your medicines, by the way  :) Take fresh fruits and veggies alongside with your prescribed meds.. Who knows, you might be needing your meds less when you begin a healthier lifestyle. :)

Cheers!  :)

My bf uses Betnovate (generic name Betamethasone Valerate) madali sya i-apply sa scalp kasi liquid na liquid sya so madali ikalat.

i don't know if it's a scalp P but i used to have a recurring severe dandruff.  it was so flaky and itchy. but when i started jogging/walking for 30 mins/weekday, it was gone in 2 weeks. and my skin is less dry and scaly now. amazing, how sweating profusely can improve skin condition. hope this helps.

After a loooooooot of expensive treatments, ngayon my skin looks better and good!

I still use clobetasol / daivobet sparingly (kapag nagflare up unlike before everyday talaga!!!) sa body. For my scalp you know the Floucinolone Lotion? Then yung TGel of Neutrogena (I have 4 250 ml bottles pa pala from UK! Anyone wants to purchase them since papadalan ako ulit ng uncle ko? pm me.)

I guess sobrang dami kasing toxin / parabens nung mga ginagamit natin na regular stuff sa katawan.

And yeah I also changed my diet.

Now I use the ff:

Human Nature's Sunflower Oil
Milea's Itcho's Oil for Skin Asthma
Milea's Goat's Milk Soap and I alternate this with Milea's Mother Nature's Gift Soap and Milea's Guava Soap

Sometimes I use body butters and cream from either Milea or Human Nature (sila lang kasi yung mura na organic) but I prefer the oil.

I stopped using Aveeno na. But that helped me back then. Pero ngayon masbetter yung ganito.

And I avoid chicken, pork, and beef (pag Saturdays nalang which is cheat day). I eat fruits, veggies, cream dory during weekdays. Most of them steamed or boiled.

Napopony tail ko na ang hair ko! Weeee! Sana tumagal ito!

hello to all sisses!
kamusta ang diet natin? always choose healthy foods to make our skin clear.

I've also observed that regular emptying of bowels can help clear up those red spots.. Being constipated stores up all the toxin in the colon which stresses the GI tract. This in turn, increases the flare-ups.

my daily dose of yogurt helps me maintain regular bowel movement. napansin ko na kumonti ang psor lesions ko after 1 week of eating yougurt at bedtime.  :)

stay healthy!

Mga sis may nakita ako.

http://www.raystrand.com/showCaseStudy.asp?eid=1001&n_testimonial_id=178

I was researching about these vitamins kasi ito tinetake namin. And I saw this.

Well anyway, totoong bongga ang effect ng juicing! :) It helped my mom big time sa mga conditions niya. Try it mga sis. I can't emphasize how beautiful vegetables, fruits, and supplements are. :D

And most of all: Don't lose hope! ;D
