May sense of pride sila. Pinoy, ewan ko.
Tapos tuwing may byahe ako, hingi ng pasalubong. Pero pag sila naman umuwi ng Manila (I am not based kasi sa Pinas), di naman nag ooffer.
I think the psyche behind it kasi sila mismo willing manlibre kung may extra sila. Like one time, one Pinoy friend of mine manlilibre daw sya. So syempre punta kami friends nya. I bought her a gift. Tapos yung 3 other friends nya na ininvite, nakita may dala ako, so yung isa pumunta sa bilihin ng cake to buy a cake for 3 of them. So ok na sana.
Pero pagdating ng order-an grabe ah. They ordered so much! Parang ako ang nahiya for them sa celebrant.
But I must say, hindi naman siguro lahat ganyan.
Now, going to sacred cow. I am not bitter. I am just upfront and blunt about it. Natamaan ka ba?

Sorry, na-surprise din ako with my just-recent realization. All along I thought Chinese are OK, same as other races. But nung inisip ko nga, through the years, in hindsight (I am working kasi abroad with a big Chinese population so you may be able to tell where at iilan lang naman sila). Mas romantic talaga ang ibang lahi. Being romantic is not always synonymous to flowers or lambing, it is the total personality of the guy on how he handles his dates/GF/wife.
Nakita mo na ba parents mo nagh holding hands? Or yung dad mo holding hands of your mom? If yes, that is very good. But halos never ko pa ata nakakita ng couples na holding hands na Chinese, kahit na Tsinoy. I think because they are just the 2nd generation of Chinese in the Phils. 3rd generation, I might say, may bahid na ng lambing from the Filipino culture. Which is good. But as I said, BAHID - again, not all ulit.
Again, these are just my observations. They may not be true in your eyes. Kaya nga now I had an opportunity to date again, sinigurado ko hindi pinoy, hindi chinese.

Hm. I'm seeing a trend here.
It seems to me that a number of you equate the preference of American guys as somehow superior to the preference of guys of all other nationalities.
It's as if everything is ok as long as it's ok for Americans.
One can make some incisive conclusions from that line of thinking.
Pero you can also look at other races in general. Kahit Europeans. They are much much better lovers (not all syempre) sa nakikita ko compared sa mga Pinoy/Chinese.
I also tried observing kasi nga at one point in my life, I was so confused on the dating game since I did not experience it when I was younger. But really, ang lousy talaga ng mga pinoy and chinese na nakikita ko (not necessarily tsinoy) relative to other races.
So kay sacred cow, maraming kang kilalang romantic na Chinese, but are you able to compare them with other races? Or with Pinoy lang? baka mga chines na kilala mo laki din ng Maynila, kaya same banana as mga Pinoy.
