^ naaawa nga ako kay baby pag nabibitin sa milk tapos umiiyak. isip ko, pwede bang papayatin na lang sya pag medyo malaki na? at saka darating rin naman sya sa age na magiging more active sya kaya papayat di ba? pero katakot rin namang hindi sundin si pedia. baka someday e ako ang masisi pag naging obese nga sya.

My 5 month old daughter drinks enfalac a+ , im planning to change it to enfapro a+ but her pedia told me that only here in the Philippines sobra commercialization ng milk. Enfalac a+ is actually very good till 12months. Balewala daw yung mga series na 0-6 then 6-12m. Mas mura nga lang ang enfapro. So if i like cheaper daw, ok lang enfapro. Been thinking about it. Baka stick to enfalac a+ ako kasi it contains more substance daw for brain development. Just sharing

hi mga sis! im back.. last post ko was 2 weeks before ako magdeliver.. ngaun 6 months na baby ko.. hehe.. ngaung araw lang sya nag 6 months.. magttanong lang ako mga sis kung anong milk ba sa tingin nyo ang maganda for baby? nung 1st month nya kasi S26 Gold sya, then pinapalitan ko ng Nan Pro One hanggang ngaun un ang tinatake nya.. then sabi ng pedia nya mag change na daw kami to Enfapro A+

okay ba yung Enfapro A+ or derecho kami to Nan Pro Two?

Naku, I heard that narin before from a friend. Until 1 yr old nga daw pwede ang enfalac a+. Just like Similac, I think it's also good until 12 mos si baby. I'll keep that in mind para may 2 choices ako when my baby turns 6mos na. I also wanna give her Gain kasi dahil yung panganay ko is laki sa Gain and super sulit talaga.

enfalac a+ baby ko since 3 months sya, nung more than 5 months na sya, sabi ng pedia pwede ko na i-shift sa enfapro a+, so sinunod ko naman..ngayong nakaubos na sya ng 2 cans (1.6kgs), pansin ko ang baba ng weight gain nya at bumaba din consumption nya... kaya I'm planning to change his mf to gain advance...

@mommy sexytabachung, would you know po ba kung magkano yung 1.6 kgs ng gain advance? mas mahal ba sa enfapro a+? which is better? TIA

Hi mommies, i was also thinking of using enfalac a+ hanggang 12mos. Mixed formula and bm kami. But pedia told me sa protein content daw ang difference ng dalawa. Higher daw ang sa enfapro. Your thoughts?

sis, i have no idea na how much ang gain advance ngayon. for me, mas ok ang gain kaysa sa enfapro a+ since i tried them both sa panganay ko. sa enfapro kasi pumayat ang anak ko, naging sakitin rin siya and there was a time na nag stay kami sa hospital for 2 weeks due to diarrhea, dehydrated narin kasi siya. So, medjo hindi maganda ang pagsasama namin ni enfapro sis. LOL. Sa Gain lang talaga nahiyang yung panganay ko, hanggang sa nag school na siya, naka gain school parin siya. Yung pedia na lang niya nagpa stop sa kanya kasi lapit na maging obese baby ko nun dahil aside from gain eh ang lakas pa niya kumain ng solid foods.

nakabili na ko ng gain for my baby, nakaka 2 tig-4 oz n sya in 4 -hr time span.... sana sign na to ng malaki laking weight gain ni baby...

dami ko nga din nabasa na hindi daw talaga nakakataba ang enfapro...

^ganyan din yung panganay ko. S26 gold 0-6 months then Promil Gold 6-12 months. After that di nya talaga type yung Progress Gold kaya nagpalipat lipat kami ng milk hanggang sa magustuhan nya Enfagrow A+

I don't know which thread to put this but I guess this is the closest. Anyway, I just noticed that my 20-month old has reduced her milk intake. Before kase, 3-4 times sya mag-milk at night (4 oz each) and around 3 times during the day. Lately, hinde na sya nagmi-milk before mag-morning nap and before mag-sleep at night.  Malakas naman sya kumain ng solids during the day, as in rice meals ganyan. Pero I was just wondering if the reduced milk intake is ok lang at this age?

Mga sis curious question? Pag formula fed babies gano katagal yung time before you feed again? Kasi lets say pag nreastfed baby usually every 2-3 hrs bago magutom yung baby. Pag formula mas matagal ba talaga? Do you feed on demand or may schedule na sinusunod na recommended ng pedia?

Our baby was on a schedule early on even when we were combi feeding. Started off at 2 oz. every 2 hoours for her first 2 weeks. Then 3 oz every 3 hours til she was a month old then her pedia upped it to 4 oz every 4 hours.

Now at 3 months, her pedia said we can move her up to 5 oz every 4 hours during the day and only 1 feeding of 2 oz in the night. My baby won't wake up to feed at night so she's been skipping 1-2 feedings a day. She only gained half a kilo this past month which is ok, but my pedia wants her to gain more in preparation of the weight she'll lose when she starts teething.

^^ generally, time between feeding of formula-fed babies is longer because formula is more filling than breastmilk. we were never really on a schedule na every x hours baby has to feed even when she was a newborn. crying babies don't always cry because they're hungy so we'd check muna if her nappy needs changing or if she wants to be carried. but we more or less knew how long she can go between feedings so if nappy is ok etc, and it's x hours na, then maybe it's time to feed.

she's almost 19 months old now and we've been feeding on demand ever since she learned how to say dede (i forget at what age). but we try to feed her solids muna before dede, like in the morning when she wakes up, i try to give bread or rice before we let her drink milk.

she takes gain plus advance, 7oz of milk (6oz lang dapat with 3 scoops but we add water per pedia's advice since she gets constipated otherwise) per feeding at this age, 3-4 bottles in a day. too much because dapat 16oz lang per the pedia kasi she should be eating more solids na. we have to work on that pa.

lahat kami lumaki sa s26 so when our dd arrived my mom insisted that we use s26 gold.  so we did.  nung una okay sya.  then we we added more milk and water as per instructions, naku nag constipate ang baby ko.  as in bilog bilog talaga. para quail eggs wawa.

so we switched to the regular kind ng s26. medyo umayos nung una pero ganun pa din. less than one month si baby panay na ang iri nya everytime she poops.

when we went to st. lukes the pedia there said the best ang enfala a+ so we tried it.  success!!!  hanggang ngayon yun pa din [textspeak!] 4 months pa lang si baby.  she is very advanced at mabigat pero di lambutin ang taba.

sad lang [textspeak!] now my daughter nag iiri pa din sya kahit normal yung poop nya.  nasanay ata nung sa s26

sabi nila it's not good daw to put a schedule on your baby's feedings so kme since the start, feed on demand talaga.  as time passes, you will know what each cry means.  kung gutom sya, kung wet nappy, kung need ang burping.

we feed our baby on demand. madalas every 2 hrs gising niya para mag feed. at night time 4 hrs siguro pinakamatagal before she cries..

mga mommies: pinapa burp niyo pa din ba si baby kapag nag feed siya sa gabi?
