I tasted the NAN HA nga. Sabi ko, buti gusto ng mga babies eto e matabang siya. Ay naku, ayoko kasi muna pabottle si baby as much as possible kasi parang may nipple confusion siya. Kaya hindi ko rin magamit ang formula milk. sayang at 3 weeks lang. I really dont know na may ganun pala.

^^ Well, i'll just stick to enfalac lactose free for now and maybe soon I will ask her pedia if she can take enfalac A+ na since I dont want her to be taking lactose free formula talaga. I dont want her to be pihikan kasi when she grow up.

my baby was on Similac when he was 1 month old...mixed feeding din ako but when he reached 6 months pedia advised me to give him GAIN...pero  yun nga constipated sya and super hirap when I see him having a hard time pooping... when he turned 7 months he was hospitalized because of too much coughing which led to vomiting each feeding. super depressed ako seeing him na hirap na when he coughs...ayaw na nya mgmilk tuloy. But the pedia told me, GAIN, since it's matamis, makes him cough even more so she gave me NAN HA one... so far my baby liked it...kahit nga matabang.

Finally, may go signal na kami from pedia to switch formula from enfalac lactose free to enfalac A+! Bought the 900g kanina from the grocery and napansin ko sa can ng enfalac a+, left side, nakalagay NEW FORMULA hmmm, ano kaya ibig sabihin nito??? Mas maganda kaya? Sana naman mahiyang si baby dito kasi sa enfalac lactose free, super hiyang siya and ang ganda ng katawan niya ngayon.

My baby is now using promil gold after s26 gold and so far [textspeak!] naman syang problems. Its not true na mataas ang sugar ng s26gold kasi sucrose free sya, meaning no sugar. Its 100% lactose. According to the pedia, ma coconsider lang na constipated ang baby kng more than a week na hindi na popo, otherwise, its just normal.

Mga sis may i ask please around how much you ladies spend in a month for formula? Also how old your respective babies are, as well as their milk consumption per feeding? Im currenrlt bfeeding bur im looking at the possibility of formula feeding as well to supplement esp when im out of the house for work.

^ sis my baby is 3 months... 1 big can of S26 lactose free per week.. almost 1k pesos ang per can.. so that's about 4k a month.. (kung saktong 4 weeks ang isang month)

For my baby (S26 Gold) : P4,200 to 4,500 per month, my baby is 3 months +

My 3 month old baby consumes two (2) 1.6kg cans of Enfalac A+ in a month. That is around 3,500. We give him 3 ounces every 2 hours. Minsan pag mahaba tulog at hindi sya nakakafeed every 2 hours, tumatagal yung isang can. Though may times naman na hindi sya nakukuntento sa 3 ounces so titimpla ulit kaya nauubos agad yung isang can. Yun lang, we already give him water. Overweight na kasi kaya hindi pwede ifeed ng milk lagi. Kung wala sigurong water, makaka-3 cans sya in a month.

my 4.5month old baby consumes around 1can of Similac Plus Advance(900g) per month.. so thats about 1100- per month.. nakaka 1 to 2bottles lang sya ng formula per day(4oz per bottle).. supplement and paglumalabas kami ni baby or pag may pinuntahan ako lang yung formula mas madami pa din yung breast milk..

^a bit expensive lang sis, konti lang price difference nila... i remember sa panganay ko S26 gold to Promil gold di naman ganun kalaki ang binaba ng price, plus mas malakas pa magmilk ang ganung age so parang ganun din. Maybe, pag 1+ na si baby medyo makakasave na tayo nun kasi malakas na magsolid.

Hi sis, my 2 month old baby is on Enfalac A+ rin for 2 weeks na. Pansin ko lang, hindi na siya ganun kalakas mag milk ngayon unlike nung Enfalac Lactose Free pa siya. I used to give her 4 ounces every 2 hrs nung Enfalac LF pa, and nauubos niya yun lagi plus water pa after. Now, madalas siya may natitira sa 4 ounces niya and parang mas gusto pa niya dedehin ang water  Sabi naman ng husband ko, hindi naman daw pumapayat si baby.. When I saw your comment here na 3 mos na baby mo and 3 ounces lang dinedede niya, napaisip tuloy ako, baka nagsawa na si baby ko sa enfalac a+. maybe i should give her 3 ounces lang muna per feeding.

^ wow, 4 ounces every 2 hours? kamusta weight ni baby? isip ko, hindi kaya mas mabigat ang Enfalac A+ compared to Enfalac LF kaya hindi na nauubos ni baby mo yung 4 ounces? mukha bang nabusog naman sya kahit hindi nya naubos? 3 ounces na nga lang muna ibigay mo, sis. parang ang dami ng 4 ounces every 2 hours for a 2-month old baby. consult mo rin kay pedia. sa baby ko, sabi ni pedia, kung kayang 2 ounces lang every 2 hours, the better. sobrang laki na daw kasi talaga ng baby ko. at 2.5 months, 6.7kgs na sya. buti na lang daw mahaba si baby.

Hay mga sisses.. I feel like I'm a BAD mom kasi pinalitan ko yung MF ng baby ko without Pedia's advise kasi super colicky and fussy siya sa S26 GOLD.
I tried Enfalac (ganun pa din ) then Nestogen at naging okay siya, ganda din poopz kaso I noticed para nagka-nasal congestion siya at napaos! I don't know kung na-allergy ba siya or dala ba ito ng panahon at na-relate ko lang sa milk switch.I feel so bad!!!!
I texted our Pedia and she told me to observe baby (6wks old) and use S26-HA.

Mga mommies, wag niyo ko gayahin...kakaparanoid!

Yes sis, 4 ounces every 2-3 hrs siya. Malakas talaga siya dumede kahit nung nasa hospital pa lang kami. They asked me nga to buy a can of infant formula na kasi daw sa lahat ng babies doon, si baby ko pinaka malakas dumede. Naubos daw yung supply na para sa baby ko. Eh hindi naman ako nakapagpa-bf agad that time dahil nagkaron ako ng infection. Today sis, nauubos niya lahat ng 4 ounces na natimpla ko for her. Siguro depende rin sa mood niya. I dont know her exact weight as of now kasi sa Monday pa ang check up niya sa pedia. Pero meron kami neighbors na mas matanda sa kanya ng 2 weeks and 1 week, di hamak na mas mataba parin ang baby ko sa kanila and those 2 babies were breastfed babies pa..

Sis, when my baby was super colicky, my pedia advised me to switch formula. From S-26 gold HA, pinag Enfalac Lactose Free niya si baby. Super laki ng improvement. Also, during that time rin kasi, nag diarrhea ang baby ko. And super naging ok rin agad ang poop ni baby with enfalac lactose free.

^ Hehe, takaw pala si baby. As long as ok lang kay pedia mo yung current intake and weight ni baby, then no need to worry. Pedia ko kasi prineprevent na maging obese si baby. Sabi nya max of 1kg per month lang daw ang ideal weight gain. e lagi kaming sumosobra.

Sabi ni SIL kong nurse, mga babies daw na formula-fed mas may tendency na maging chubby kesa sa mga breast-fed babies. pansin ko nga sa mga pinopost na pics sa fb ng mga GTalkers, parang mas bilog ang mga formula-fed...

That's what I noticed nga. Chubbier ang formula fed babies than breasted babies. Sana Lang wag naman maging obese ang baby ko sis. I'll discuss her milk intake sa pedia on Monday.
