^Sis, expensive daw talaga daw kasi ang Josiah's. Pansinin mo ang limited ng menu nila sa Oasis package, tapos may bayad for every single change you want to make. They're not flexible at all. I think that's also the reason why hindi ako natuwa sa food tasting nila. Feeling ko it's so limited. Parang ang damot nila nun sa food. We didn't even get the chance to taste their appetisers and salads.

Ganun dn sis sa Hizon's.. Kaya sabi ng cood ko, mas ok pa talaga pag venue only then separate ang caterer sa oasis.. Nakapili kna b ng caterer mu sis?

^Hindi pa. I'm attending CVJ's food tasting on May 17 and waiting pa for Creamery and Swan. Still haven't talked to Tamayo's. I figure, okay lang to take my time with the caterer since mga 2-3 months before the wedding date naman usually ang detailing. Pero kasi we're sticking to the venue+caterer package, so basically may caterer na naman - it's just a matter of choosing the one we like most.

Before our wedding in Dec 2014, Richgold was banned from Oasis due to lantang flowers, unprofessional servers, bland food, etc. Sana nagswitch kami to a more known catering company.


Getting Richgold Weddings for our wedding was THE WORST decision we have ever made.

We got Richgold on our wedding last 2013. Laging may food tasting everytime we visit their office. Their AE Jed is ok but the stylist is mejo ok lang din since he asked us to pay additional for the centerpc that I want from their old design..Their food was great din daw based on my guests. For cvj naman, I also love their food. I would choose them if not from richgold's styling..

Hahaha! Ito rin feedback namin when we had our FT with Josiah's. ok naman food nila pero tinipid talaga nila kami. Tipong yung spareribs na 2 pieces eh hinati pa nila for 4 people. Eh ano na lang matitira dun puro buto kaya ang spareribs. Lol! Kaya disappointed kami at di namin sila ni-book

Hello fellow Oasis brides. Who is your AE sissies? Madali ba sya macontact? And sumasagot agad sa mga questions nyo? Hay naku, di ko alam kung AE ko lang or lahat sila ganun. May mga simple request and questions ako na 10 yrs bago sumagot. Actually weeks ago may hinihingi ako sanya, and sabi nya email nya sken the next day. Well, hangang ngayon wala pa dn pero di ko na sya kinukulit. Tumawag sya kahapon pero d ko nasagot so i texted her na lang pero wala nman reply till now.

Mine is Marissa. Minsan medyo matagal siyang mag-reply, so kinukulit ko talaga siya via email and text.

Ako din, first si Andrea inassign sakin, text ako ng text skanya before di ko cya macontact sa call..  then I received an email from Oasis na changed to a new AE na ako. Yung pumalit di din mareply hahaha!! Pasalamat sila November pa ko di pa ko nangungulit pero sis I suggest kulitin mo email and text hanggang sumagot! haha ganyanin ko din sila pag palapit na wedding lol

Orchard brides ano set up if mag fireworks? Bababa ba yung guests or maviview from orchard?  Di ko kasi mapicture eh. Haha! Tia!

sis mrsg, you might want to check your contract about the use of fireworks. based on our contract which we signed last year, bawal talaga ang fireworks/confetti/poppers sa compound ng oasis regardless kung anong venue ang kinuha nyo and knowing their management, most probably in effect pa din yun.
siguro if you really want to push through with fireworks, baka along aurora blvd nyo sya magagawa.

Sis, regarding sa fireworks, tinanong ko dn sknila before, di daw pwede. Pero sabi ko nakapanood ako ng sde ng june 2014 wedding sa oasis na may fireworks. Binawi nila then sabi nila yon sa Dragon Fireworks daw pwede. Di na ko maxado nag-elaborate kc orchard dn kme so prang imposible dn ang fireworks. Prang sparklers na lang ang gusto ko, if papayagan ng oasis.

Ang sabi sakin ni Maan puwede as long as Dragon fireworks then inask namin si Dragon during a bridal fair na nagooasis sila, clear ko ulit pag punta ng Oasis then balitaan ko kayo saka if orchard venue pano ang magiging setup. Kasi diba if lalapatan mo ng song [textspeak!] fireworks pano maririnig yun kung nasa loob ng orchard hahaha di ko maisip kung paano lol pero gusto talaga namin sana.

I've attended weddings of my best friends before and their reception was held in Oasis.
Dalawang best friend ko na ang kinasal dun. Same sila na Orchard yung kinuhang venue.

Ang comment namin with the venue itself, maganda yung place, well maintained. Okay din naman daw yung mga AE ng friends ko based sa pagkakwento nila. Ang naging reklamo lang nila is masikip to hold 150 guests. Actually, kaming mga bisita medyo nasikipan nga rin, hirap gumalaw sa stage, hirap umikot kasi dikit dikit na masyado yung tables. Also, mainit ang aircon, hindi ganun kalakas.

For their tie-up caterer, my one bestfriend got RichGold Weddings and the other one was Josiah's.
Luckily, ang sarap ng selection of foods nila. Set-up was great, both na-achieve yung mga themes nila. Also, hindi tinipid yung food during the event. Yung mga natirang foods, pinauwi pa sakanila. Thumbs up sa mga caterers na to. Kung sa Oasis lang nga yung venue ng wedding ko, malamang I am torn with these caterers.

I know, Hizon's is one of their accredited caterer, madami na negative reviews, also recently I just attended their food tasting and we are not happy with them. I made a review sa thread na Hizon's Catering.

Went there Saturday sabi sakin kapag booked ka sa Pavilion priority sa kanila kasi kanila daw yung part ng garden and may nakabook na dun same time namen. Sana they make it clear before kapag nagiinquire yung mga tao diba? Ganun pala yun noon sabi nila opo pwede basta dragon. Kahit sparklers daw di sila payag sabi ko nga kahit sa bridge? Iaask daw nya. Anyway naasar lang ako hehe. Fog machine din di pwede! Bubble machine lang and petals ang naiisip kong magagawa namin. Damig bawal huhu

Im thinking about upgrading to verandah pero di ko feel rectangular shape nya eh.. Tingin nyo masikip na ba sa Orchard if may flipbooks and mobile bar sa loob and quartet? 150pax ang max namin pero we are aiming for 130 lang sana..

Mga sis, share ko lang experience ko as of today, dahil sa inis ko na pa post ako bigla dito sa GT. story is, may ini-issue kasi ako pdc sa kanila para sa venue na nireserve namin for our wedding this November. Apparently medyo short yon funds ng check na na-issue ko kasi gabi ko na nailagay yon pondo. I was assuming kasi na ilan days pa sya ma debit like whAt happened last time. Ngayon, tumawag yon banker ko sa akin, sabi nag attempt daw i draft yon check. So I called Oasis up to verify kung na-process yon check, my AE who's name is Marissa na hindi pa raw na present yon check na kesyo andon pa raw at di naisama sabi ng manager nya. So I called my bank again telling them Oasis' side. Ok my fault kasi I was complacent na hindi agad i draft yon check, but my point is, bakit hindi sila mag-courtesy call para inform yon client na i process na yon check di ba to avoid this hassle and nsf fee. At bakit I have an ill feeling na ever since i endorse ako sa bagong ae(from Jamie to Marissa) na hindi nya alam ginagawa niya??? Ang gulo nyA kausap kasi when she said na di pa na process yon check, she also stated na kaya daw di sila tumatawag dahil expected na nila na dapat funded. Now, napapaisip ako na palitan yob Ae dahil sa nApaka gulo nya kausap. Any advise fellow oasis brides???

I've had attended na kasi the food tasting of Josiah's, Hizon's, CVJ, and Verleo (Tamayo's and Richgold are no longer affiliated with them). Each of the caterers have their own pro's and con's and I'm having a difficult time deciding on which one to get. Of course, #1 priority is food, but styling and service are also important.

Ladies, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks in advance!

yes masikip yan sis malaki ang kakainin na space ni flipbooks. ako sa palagay ko at experience na din, 120 lang ang pinakacomfy sa orchard.

sis Goddess_Joem11, medyo di mo sila masisisi re pagpasok ng cheq pero yung sa pagiging magulo ni marissa at ng kung sino pa mang AE nila, agreeng agree ako. the other day uminit din ulo ko sa kanila. went there for an ocular kasama client. i signed a form stating all suppliers for my june 2 event. tapos nung isang araw nagtetext na magsend ako gate pass sa email. sabi ko ano yung sinign ko. at kung hindi pala yun gate pass bat di pa ako pinasign nung andun ako. kung kelan malapit events tsaka ka kukulitin e maratahon na ako till next week ng events. gusto pa nila use their form na excel file lang naman, ni walang logo so ayaw pa na email ko na lang directly. nagreklamo na ako kay melody, boss yata nila yun. sabi ko napakadisrganized ng AEs nyo. she said iimbestigahan nya daw. kastress. lagi may threat sila kesyo pag di ka nagsubmit, di makakapasok suppliers. kung di ka magbayad, magkakapower failure, etc. kunsumi! sabi ko di bagay sa industriya ng kaslaan ang mga disorganized or mali-mali ang info.

I think i'll get Hizon's sis pero lets see since november pa naman wedding namin next year ni fiance. Familiar na kasi ako sa food nila since sila ang caterer yearly ng company where I work. Magiging masinsin na lang siguro ako and very particular sa pagpili ng food/ menu. And advise ng mga sis natin mas better daw na umattend ng GFT ng hizons compared oasis na FT mas marami daw kasi pagpipilian, actually my fiance naka attend na sa GFT ng hizons at new manila and glad that he liked it. But we're still open to try other caterers once matapos na namin ang mga dapat i-book na suppliers Parehas pala tayo venue and package ang kinuha sa tingin ko kasi mas makakatipid if both ang kukunin compared sa venue only.
