Dermatologist Guide Thread 12 - Dermas pretending to be patients, pls STAY AWAY

Nakakainis mga sis. I went to my derma last time and nagprick siya ng pimples ko. I have one sa left cheek and medyo maliit lang siya. Medyo nagsugat siya for a couple of days. Nung natanggal na yung parang cover na black spot kita ko parang may malalalim na scar!  In the first place ayun yung pinapatreat ko sa kanya pero parang lalo pa atang dadami. She told me naman na bababaw daw yun kasi hindi na fully healed yung skin. Pero if di toh bumabaw I might transfer to other derma na lang. Sayang super affordable pa naman nung rates pero acne scar na nga pinapatreat ko tapos dadagdagan niya lang. hindi bale na lang

mga sis, sorry pa OT lang.  san ba nakakabili ng mas murang bleaching lotion, arbutin gel, kojic cream at glycerin soap? ang mahal kasi sa derma ko. ang liit liit ng arbutin gel at kojic cream tig 500. tapos yung maliit na bleaching cream 400. yung glycerin soap naman 200. mabilis pa matunaw. pantanggal kasi ng scars ko sa kakakamot may skin asthma daw ako. thanks.

^ nangyari na din sa akin yan nun nagprick lumalim pero nawala naman nung nagpapapixel ako. i admit nakakairita nga yung ganyan. umiyak pa nga ako nun. feeling ko magiging bako bako na mukha ko nun

same experience kasi tayo sis:( akin rin parang lumalala. siguro hiyangan lang talaga sa derma. im looking for another derma na rin eh. at first kala ko purging lang or whatever, kaso ilang months na di same old condition yung skin ko unfortunately walang improvement.

^sakin naman sis, feeling ko naman may improvement yung old acne scars ko naging mas shallow. the only problem is instead na di na madagdagan lalo pang nadadagdagan. I'll try to observe it for a month. kapag ganun pa rin. I'll transfer with other derma na.

The other day i said na I might transfer derma na kasi parang lumalala o mas dumadami acne scars ko. But I guess I'm just being impatient with the healing process. I believe the better solution talaga when you have issues is to communicate with your derma. At first I doubted my derma but now I will surely trust her na. She follows up with the healing of my acne scars after I told her my concern and she asks me to drop by to her clinic just to check the new scars that's forming. What she did is she spot treat the area and she said that it'll make the healing much faster and take note she did it for free!. This type of doctors are the ones we need. Those who are not after money at all but those who really takes care of their patients. I'm so proud and so glad that I met her. Thanks to those who recommended her.

where's the best dermatologist for leg scars?bite lang sya ng insect pero unfortunately ng spread sa legs ko and parang dalamatian na. i went to a dermatologist in makati sa but it seems the creams i'm applying wont work.ang tagal na.i cant even wear shorts. please help! budget friendly dermatologist.thanks!

I have one huge, really dark scar sa cheek, its been there for months now. Ano kaya better treatment, pixel o TCA peel?

@mocha, trust is very important between patient and doctor. Sometimes when we don't get results that we want instantly we want to transfer but sometimes talking to our doctor re our issues could be a better solution. Thanks for reminding us.

I love Dra. Leah!  Her rates are very reasonable, considering PDS Dermatoligist sya... I just had whole body peeling.  She did diamond peel before applying TCA.  She just charged 5k.

Hello! Interested din ako magpabody peel kay Dra. Leah especially after learning from your post na me diamond peel before TCA. At saka very reasonable pa yung price. May I ask kung gaano katagal ang isang session? At around magkano yung maintenance products? Thanks in advance!

sis pede ba yung pixel for dark and red acne marks? di effective sakin tca e, nagkacystic ako tapos lalong naging visible yung mga marks. TIA~
