kareni: the 18k rate is birthday+ binyag. Take note that their birthday rate is cheaper. Mas mahal if binyag + birthday. this is also the reason why I got them at 10K lang when I booked them last year. their rate i think for the birthday + baptismal so far is 15K. they treat the event kasi ng parang wedding na they shoot pati yung preps + going to church + venue. eto yung in explain nila sakin before i booked them
18K for the birthday lang? kakabanggit lang dito na 15K and i think nagtataas sila mga end of the year.

mommies, it really helps to plan EARLY if you want to get a good rate and at the same time to make sure that your preferred supplier is still available on your baby's birthday. OA na kung OA but my baby's birthday is 11mos in the making. sa cake supplier lang ako medyo nangarag dahil kay les sucreries but the rest wala ako naging problem

hi sis grayce, thank you for giving me a background on the rates of zoombox from the recent past but their website (as of june 28, 2012) disagrees with the rates you mentioned.  10 or 15k history. for your appreciation, following is the link to the website of zoombox:

We got John Aguas for my daughter's second bday. I like the  pics and ambilis makuha. Stress free ang transactions. Nagtext ako sa kanya though about photobook d sumagot. Baka d nya nareceive or something. D na din ako nagtext ulit kasi gagamitin ko na lang ang paexpire kung voicher sa fotosnap. Hehe

@prettysherry, I checked Ging's website (not the blog pala, sorry) and naka-post doon that kiddie party photo packages begin at P11,000 (baka ito yung coverage lang, wala pang photobook).  Ganda ni Ging mag-capture ng candid moments and parang ang cute cute 10x ng mga bata kapag siya ang kumuha ng photos.  I love her photobook too, very classy ang lay-out, hindi siksik yung pictures.  Best of all, she is super nice.

prettysherry: buti d pa matarush ang TF ni zoombox when i booked them. swerte ko na rin pala. grabe nagulat ako sa jump ng price. maybe it has something to do with their expansion. they're currently hiring extra people na now to edit videos e. d ko expected nga lang na ang laki ng jump ng price

speaking of zoombox, i got the video na pero haven't seen it yet since nasa manila cya. I'm glad on time sila magdeliver

yung mga pa-sosyal at nagtataasan ang rates na suppliers imho yun ang madaming nakukuhang kontrata pero delayed naman ang output at tumatanggap ng 2-3 bookings in a day at meron pa nung previous days kaya dapat iwasan na sila kasi ultimong mga subcon nila, i.e., photographers, videographers ngarag at late na pagdating sa event mo.

Hiyee!! Ako rin i finally booked a P/V for my son's 1st bday on september. I got Cinematic Babies (their Photo + Vid package).  Paid the DP na kanina and signed the contract. Oh and mga sis, i asked them if we can include a provision in the contract re max period within which they would deliver the final output (pix & dvds) and they agreed naman.  So mga sis try niyo na lang din ask yung mga suppliers niyo to insert this provision (stipulate on the max period for them to deliver...) para at least clear and its for our own protection din.
