Ngayon lang ulit ako nakapag GT. Tagal ko na gusto magbigay ng feedback pero I got super busy with baby dahil nagkasakit. Pero since my baby's ok na, my warning to all the mommies here planning to get Child Lounge as their photo/video supplier.
We booked them last Dec 2011 for our baby's first bday party on January. Via email lang lahat ng usapan namin. Jesseron didn't ask for DP kasi sabi nya full payment na lang daw on the day of the event. So good for me kasi no need to deposit pa sa bank. Before our event, I emailed and called them para i-remind yung sched ng party which is 2pm. He said ok and he even said na dapat early din daw kami dumating para makapagpre-event shoot pa kami. so the agreement was, we will be at the venue 2 hours before the event.
On the day of the party, we were there 2 hours before the event as agreed. kaso wala pa sila. so we waited for them habang tumutulong kami sa pagprep ng venue. after one and a half hour tsaka lang sila dumating. and medyo nagtaka ako kasi 2 lang sila. isang guy (younger bro ni Jesseron) at isang girl. our package was supposed to be photo and video kaya nagtaka ako dahil 1 camera lang dala nila. so i asked them kung nasan si Jesseron at baket 2 lang silang nandon. they said parating na raw.. natraffic lang. since medyo busy na rin ako dahil nagdadatingan na mga guests, hinayaan ko na lang muna tutal parating na nga raw. hindi na rin kami nakapagpre-event shoot dahil too late na rin.
the party started 15 mins late because we had to wait for other guests. and since shakeys ang venue namin, 2 hours lang ang allotted party time. Jesseron (and 3 others from his group) arrived at 3:20pm (more than 1 hour late)! Imagine mga sis, first hour of the party, they were only using 1 camera for both photo and video coverage. After the party, I asked him why he was late. He was apologetic naman and said, "Nag-extend po kasi mam yung party before ng sa inyo e". I was shocked and was about to say "what the...", but I just said "ahh, ok". and since birthday ng anak ko at ayaw ko ng bad vibes, i just hoped na sana maging ok ang output nila kahit ganon ang nangyari. he then promised me na after 1 week, makikita ko na raw yung teaser at 1 month naman isesend na raw nila yung CDs.
1 week after, walang teaser. i texted him pero walang reply. so naisip ko, baka isasabay nya na lang sa mga pics. 1 month after, walang dumating na CDs. i keep on texting him, but still no reply. I wasn't telling hubby about it kasi papagalitan ako nun. ako kasi nag-insist na sila yung kunin namin na photog. 2 months after ng pangungulit ko sa kanila, they finally replied to my texts. sabi is naipadala na raw via LBC at inuupload na raw sa FB page nila yung teaser. So ako naman, mega hintay ako sa fb. f5 ako ng f5 sa page nila, thinking na baka mabagal lang kasi connection namin sa bahay. hanggang nakatulog na ko kakahintay. walang teaser na naupload! 1 more week nakalipas, wala rin CD dumating.
si hubby nagtatanong na kung baket wala pa raw mga pics. he called them and Jesseron said magmeet na lang daw kami sa trinoma para ibigay nila yung CD at para makapag-explain daw sila ng personal kung bakit nadelay. He scheduled the meet-up on a weekday dahil hindi raw sila pwede ng weekend. so ok fine, hubs and i had to take a day off from work para lang mameet sila at makuha yung pics. Nung nasa byahe na kami papunta sa meeting place namin, nagtext sya. He said nasa LBC daw sila that time at pinapadala na raw nila yung CDs.. No need na raw to meet kasi may lakad ata sya. i wanted to curse him that time because of the hassle, pero dahil sinabi nyang nasend nya na, natuwa na rin ako kahit papano. I just replied asking for the tracking number, kaso wala daw tracking number binigay yung LBC.. pero guaranteed daw na after 3 days nasa men na yung CDs. ok sige, waiting time ulit. after 3 days, guess what? yeah, wala ulit dumating na CD. cool di ba?
that's the time na sobrang napikon na ko. tinatawagan ko phone nya the whole day pero sya sumasagot. tinawagan ko yung landline number nila, yung mother nya yung nakasagot. Kinwento ko yung nangyayari about our pics then tinanong ko address ng bahay nila. I told his mom na we will just claim the pics personally from their house. That night, Jesseron called me. Medyo na-HB ako kaya medyo tumaas na din boses ko. He explained na kaya hindi daw nya masend yung pics dahil nagkaproblema daw. Na-corrupt daw yung mga files nila (huwaaat?) at tinatry daw nila ma-save kung ano ang pwede ma-save. Sa inis ko, sabi ko kahit ano na lang available, kahit ilang pirasong pictures, basta ibigay nya na lang sa min. kahit mga raw pa, para lang matapos na.
Ayun, the following day, finally nagkita kami sa trinoma. He gave us 2 CDs. 1 for the teaser, 1 for the pics. There were more or less 600 pics. Out of 600, almost 50 yung blurred, then halos 1/3 paulit-ulit na shots. Though the teaser was ok naman pero nothing really fancy. Nag-offer din sya magrefund ng portion ng binayad namin. Pero hindi na lang namin kinuha, tutal nasa min na naman ng pictures. Tsaka tapos na rin naman. Damage has been done and we've learned our lesson. Tulad ng laging sinasabi sa ken ni hubby, "you get what you pay for". Haay!
I don't believe na nacorrupt yung mga files nila. Konti talaga ang mga pics dahil late sya dumating at halos buong party, isang cam lang gamit nila. And the quality of shots? Bira-lang-ng-bira type. And take note, ni walang solo pic si baby ko.
I posted a message sa FB nila. I said, I still wish that they will succeed kahit ganon nangyari sa party ng baby ko. Kaso the next day, blocked na ko sa page nila. hehe.
