i tried baking sa microwave kanina and it's soooo palpak! :(
yung una sunog yung center, as in parang uleng, naovercooked.
yung pangalawa, soft yet buhaghag, buo naman sya nung itrinansfer sa plate pero nung inislice ko hindi matusok ng tinidor, nadudurog. i don't know if it still needs a little more time sa oven o dahil cake flour yung ginamit ko instead of all-purpose flour. hindi kasi available sa pantry kanina ng APF eh :(

^ try looking for mud cakes and microwave oven cakes recipes.Usually it's a choco lava/mud cake that you can start with in the microwave.the kind of flour you use depends on the goods you're making- cake flours are good for those that need to be spongey; I use APF on virtually anything(including sponge cakes) if need be kasi hindi available ang cake flours dito sa Australia-be it cakes, cookies, etc.

^meron akong nakita na stand mixer (heavy duty na rin siguro ito, or if not, semi lang, hehe):
moulinex
tefal
bosch

add ko: kenwood

parang kitchenaid na din ang dating, pero cheaper. yung nakita ko dito naka sale pa, mga more or less P10k (converted, dirhams to peso). kasali ito sa wish list ko.  ;D

ang alam ko sis if you want the sponge cake type na parang airy, this has to do with the folding of the beaten egg whites to the batter. Kelangan slow yung pang fold using a spatula para hindi mawala yung bubbles which will give the cake a sponge-like texture. :)

^^sis pano yun eggless choco cake kasi gawa ko?

^sis last time na gumamit ako ng cake flour buhaghag yung cake ko :( the recipe calls for APF kasi that time kaya lang cake flour nagamit ko nun kasi di available sa pantry.

i was thinking maybe because microwave yung gamit ko.

We tried making eggless chocolate cake before but in an oven, di talaga siya super aalsa kasi yung egg helps in making the cake rise, so talagang mejo dense yung kalalabasan niya if you are baking something without eggs. :)

I agree with sis honeypurple, dapat spatula lang ang gamit to fold the egg whites in.dahan dahan lang ang mix para hindi magdeflate yung batter mo.I know for a fact na mas fluffier daw ang egg whites, the spongier the cake.It helps if you keep the egg whites, the whisk and bowl cold (think of mga 15 minutes sa freezer); the egg yolk naman at room temp.Even the freshness of the egg has something to do with it-the "older"the egg the better daw for whisking the egg whites.I think totoo nga kasi when I baked sponge cake for a cake roll, super fluffy-I did the same for tortang mamon and fluffy din kinalabasan.I discovered this method while I was perfecting my royal icing. The method works for anything you want fluffy ;D
