Hello Sisses!

I'm planning to bake cupcakes in a jar for my friend's bridal shower. The problem is I don't know where to buy the jars. I'm not keen on buying from the mangbobote for obvious reasons. I need affordable but small ones. Iniisip ko na nga lang bumili ng edible product in a jar in bulk and then transfer the content and use the jars. Please help.

^sis, malamang kaya yeasty na over yung pag rest mo. Unless you put it in the ref then its ok to let it rest for a couple of hours or longer. Is your recipe the no knead bread that requires you to rest over night at room temp? I haven't tried that one pa..

As for the dimple when the dough is poked.. You'll know that the dough is rested when you poke it with your finger the dimple won't bounce back (the dimple just stays there) but if it bounce back let it rest for another 10 minutes or so.

I believe you can bake them using mason jars. or pwede ding bake mo muna then cut the cupcakes into two or three then put them in the jar with filling or frostings in between

Aww. I read this too late. I went to SM Supermarket and Landmark (even the department stores) but didn't find any. I found a 12-set Ball jars in True Value but they were too big. I ended up baking the cupcakes as is and putting them in DIY individual boxes because I didn't have time to buy from Chocolate Lovers or RM boxes. I'll try baking in jars next time, maybe for my son's birthday. I found a supplier (tiktilaok philippines) that sells jars for P11-13 pesos each but with a minimum of 138 pieces.

BTW, there's a Bakery Fair at the World Trace Center from Feb 21 to 23. I think entrance is at P100 but if you pre-registered online (I did!), it's free. :)

how do you troubleshoot a cookie? like paano ko malalaman what went wrong? i followed this recipe precisely http://www.joyofbaking.com/ChocolateCookies.html  kaso napansin ko during baking hindi naman nagspread ang cookies. they remained balled up.
